Friendly helpful staff. A little bit of everything. Probably wouldn’t want to get everything for your trip here. They did have a good selection of shoes for day hikes though, and that is just what I needed!

Probably the best outfitter in the valley. Got everything I needed from insulated base layers to a rain shell and boots, pants, tee shirts… everything, they have it all. Top brands like Osprey and Patagonia. Pricey, but worth the quality. Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. I tried on 9 pairs of shoes before I settled on one. A+ for service.

Seems slightly expensive for clothes & gear but they have an amazingly knowledgeable staff so you get what you pay for. Despite the prices I think these places need to be supported, so support.
They sell everything you could ever need to be in the backcountry for both winter and summer sports. They only stock high quality stuff so you know what you buy may last a liftime (especially since most of these companies provide lifetime warranties)
Typically, I would go to pick up maps and if you’re hiking in and around the Roaring Fork Valley this is would be great place to start, if not the best.
