Starbucks

The guys (males) that work at this place are fabulous. I can’t say the same for the old woman (brown hair, short in stature). I know it’s her working the drive thru every time she takes my order because after I give my order she only says «sure» or «ok». So I just sit there until she tells me to pull up or anything more than «sure.» Her customer service skills are the absolute worst. Once I ordered my very, simple «grande pike place with a little extra cream» I got a tall latte instead– I pointed this out to her and all she said was «I guess I can remake it for you».today I asked for a little more cream after I tasted it. She took the lid off, almost poured the coffee out the window until she saw a car behind me in line. So thoughtful, since I prefer coffee not splashed on my car. She pours out almost half of my coffee inside and then puts the cup on the stand for me to watch her pour cream in. I kept saying «ok, that’s plenty» but she kept pouring. So now I have a grande cream with half coffee in it. The guys can get this right– why can’t old lady? Because she has poor social skills. Either she was being a smart ass or dumb ass. I tasted it and it was cold but because I had a sleeping baby I drove home. Poured the drink in a mug and heated it up in my microwave. I loved my half cream half coffee drink. I hope old lady isn’t making $ 15 an hour– she’s not worth it. I too will be an old lady one day but I will know how to make a coffee and know how to talk to people.

The mocha tasted terrible. There was no coffee taste to it at all. We tried the drive through to save some time. Unfortunately we had to sit in our car for 10 minutes waiting for what was supposed to be a mocha. It was a waste of our time and money.

This was a nice little hidden Starbucks. I tried the newly arrived reserved Columbia el Penol. It is considered to be a medium roast; I found it refreshing and strong. The employees were cordial. The bathrooms were clean and the music was nice. Hubbs ordered his usual when we go to SB, a venti Pike Place (medium roast as well). This was nice; we didn’t stay in there long since Sasha belle in the car.

I’m a regular customer of Starbucks. I would say I get 3 – 5 drinks a week from Starbucks. I pretty much order the same drink. When I got a drink from this specific store, it was the BEST drink EVER! I can’t even describe it, but they made my drink so perfectly. I wish all Starbucks could make like that drink. My drink is a hot chai latte with soy milk, extra hot with little water.

This Starbucks is a gem. Always makes my drink perfectly, the staff is very friendly and usually smiling. Contrary to other reviews I don’t feel like they are slow at all, I am always in and out in a couple minutes at most. Perfect location for me too!

Location: 5 Stars. Right near the Whole Foods.
Service: Unapologetically slow.
Seating: Great!

Swiftness: Nonexistent.
I’ve gone in and watched, with just two people ahead of me in line, the staff slowly waste so much time that it takes me more than 15 minutes to get a DECAF COFFEE.
I’m not the only one who noticed.
In Salon Terra the girls were lamenting the slow service as well at this Starbucks location.
They literally think they’re on island time. They don’t apologize. It’s truly a hellish experience when it takes THAT LONG for a decaf coffee or Americano.
The day I went in with friends who had chai teas, it still took 20 minutes. And here’s what’s scary: there’s no espresso in chai! All they do is pour it from a box!
I will avoid this Sbux until their staff gets into gear and learns to work as a team so I don’t have to waste that much time.

Wish I could give this Starbucks a higher rating, but I am unfortunately too frequently disappointed with the quality of their beverages and the service is okay, but could be quite a bit better, I think. Too many times my coffee simply tastes burned (I often order an Anericano, so the quality of the espresso shots is definitely more apparent in that type of beverage with only a small amount of cream added vs the amount of milk in a latte or such. And I should not need to add sugar to remedy that situation.). I waited to write a review until they had been open a while and they have… long enough that I would hope for better consistency/​quality. Most Starbucks deliver pretty consistently good quality but this one is still falling short in my experience, so I may need to opt mostly for the much better alternative espresso options near by for future. Still I hope for improvement :)
