Food is way over priced and not even that good. The staff is extremely rude and don’t understand how to deal with customers. I will no longer order from here after they refused to partially refund my money when I complained about my meal… spending $ 50 on Chinese take out for two people isn’t worth it anyway.

I stretched on the 2 star because the food had no flavor at all… was like re boiled, boiled food… good if you are on low-fat diet i suppose… I had to stop at Kings and get some grilled chicken to augment the chicken and broccoli which was OK… I sincerely do not think that many Chinese restaurants aspire to culinary heights beyond take-out class food where the best part is the fortune cookies anyway. We really do not know or get the freshness aspect in most Chinese restaurants and I am sure our pallets are not what a native China diner’s is, either… therefore, I am saying I do not know what good Chinese food any more than I can say what good art is. i know the egg rolls were like eating wallpaper, the fried rice lacked my favorite chunks of «the other red meat», pork and I took their other dishes and left overs from other diners and pure them all in to one bowl and no one knew the difference… like mulch with seasoning and some meat pieces(that happened to be King’s prepared grilled chicken). I like the fact that these people always get their food out in 9.5 minutes and there is never anyone in line, waiting to pick up food… frankly speaking, they are better than the Golden Palace, I think, but then again, they have both been in business a long time and there food is hot, as in temperature so cooked Chinese food is a good thing when you want something hot to eat and do not want to cook at home. I would go back again and get what I get and eat it and not write reviews… I do not get ill from eating their food… the hospitality is good… they take my order, I pay them, they thank me, the food is hot when I get it home, we eat and rarely comment further… it is Chinese take out food, that alone pretty much says it all… ok, have nice holiday weekends…

Avoid this place at all costs. The waitress throws so much attitude and is very rude. This was at a time when only 2 other tables were occupied. We left without eating there soon after we ordered. Worst service!!!

If your dining in the staff is great and accommodating. If your ordering out you need to have patience. Also if your ordering food to go I would highly recommend calling vs. showing up. We waited about 15 minutes before they would even take out to go order as all the phone calls had priority. I’ve always enjoyed the food and the dishes come in a good portion and are reasonably priced. They offer all the traditional Chinese dishes.

Grabbed some takeout(house fried rice & kung pao chicken) after a golf tournament across the street. Overall the flavors were very clean and fresh. Vegetables had a nice crunch to them and the place seemed very clean. My HFR didn’t have meat in it… but the fresh flavors made up for that.

Chu’s is great! Delicious food, reasonably priced, and very quick service. We’ve been trying to find«our» Chinese food place since moving to the area, and Chu’s is it.

Dependable nice place that we keep forgetting about because it is right next to us, but always come back to. Some dishes are better than others, but always decent if not quiet tasty.

Ordered take out yesterday. Our first time ordering from Chu’s and we enjoyed it. The food was lighter than your typical Chinese restaurant in NJ. Prices were good people working there were nice and it was ready in 10 minutes. Overall they exceeded my expectations. I’d recommend to anyone in the area.

«Chinese nachos», that’s all I have to say. No actually it’s not really a big deal to me. My fiancé however grew up in Bucks County PA where all the Chinese restaurants serve these fried won-tons with duck sauce as a little free appetizer. I’m not from that area originally so I found this practice strange and unusual. Long story short, we moved to the area recently and discovered this little hidden gem with their«Chinese nachos» and she was in heaven which was a win for us. Prices are beyond reasonable for the area; 30 bucks for both of us with 2 dishes and an appetizer. Restaurant is quaint, nicely done and the wait staff was very friendly. I ordered the Hunan chicken, which was very flavorful and perfectly seasoned with the right amount of spice. Often when I’ve ordered Chinese food I’ve noticed that anything that says spicy is usually not spicy. This was not the case with Chu’s as there was a decent amount of heat with this dish which made me a happy camper. We’ll come back here again for sure.

Menu is different online then when you are seated. Servers were too fast to rush to make you order when no one else was there. Hostess was not very pleasant. Food was fairly alright overall. Both dishes we ordered we supposed to be spicy but weren’t. Just a meh experience overall. Prob won’t return.

Very solid Chinese restaurant, and this coming from someone who has lived in China for a few years. If you feel adventurous, ask for the secret Chinese menu. If you find something you like, you can customize too. My friends go crazy for the following: 1. Crispy Shredded Beef Szechuan Style(spicy) 2. Beef noodle soup($ 6.95 won’t bust your wallet) 3. «Rou Yuan Bai Cai Fen Si Bao» #3 I definitely vouch for, I took a mixed ethnic group of friends here and they all loved it. Now they always get this when they come visit me! To order #3, I would ask for 10 meatballs, white cabbage, and«fence”(~ glass noodles) in a broth. Whip out your Asian accent when pronouncing«fence», with the ending accented. The lady is sure to give you a funny look, but that’s really the best part(but she should understand). Or you can write down 肉圆粉丝bao.

Sad, because I feel the other Chu’s franchises are better than this. The food tastes good, but my meat portion was pretty sad(I had the Tea Sauce Beef), the tea came out cold and we never got a refill. You do get crispy noodles and mustard/duck sauce for the table, at least. Our dinner also came out very quickly. I want to give it two stars but I don’t feel my experience was bad enough for that — but there are definitely better places around!

A good place at lunchtime when every special is $ 7 – 8 and comes with soup! Reasonably tasty food and fast service in a bright, new restaurant. It’s thoroughly Americanized Chinese food but it tasted a-ok to me, I’m not a purist :) We visited at noon on a busy Thursday when the restaurant was nearly full. Instantly we received hot tea, ice water with lime and fried noodles with both duck sauce and spicy mustard. After ordering the soup came quickly, hot and sour was the right consistency, just needed a bit more heat. Our entrees arrived soon after. The eggplant in garlic sauce was promised as spicy, it arrived flat-out mild but with beautiful pieces of eggplant cooked just perfectly. Shrimp lo mein was a huge pile of noodles and a decent amount of shrimp, just needed a few bits of veg or something and it would have been much better. Chicken with garlic was also promised as spicy and arrived not at all spicy, but with a generous amount of celery and scallions. Even the room is nice, twenty-foot ceilings and well lit by very tall windows, with Picasso prints on the wall. Not exactly typical Chinese but I’d come back for lunch in a heartbeat.
