Bastrop Feed and Supply

This is now Livengood Feeds. I’ve been there two times.
The first time a young man helped me, answered questions. No problems and I liked the price of the item I purchased.
The second time I called ahead to make sure they had what I needed and explained on the phone that they were 15 miles from me and I wanted to make sure they had what I was looking for. The female who answered said their computers were down but she went and checked the sample bags and told me they had the product but was unable to give me a price because of the computers and said she couldn’t give me a time frame of when they would be functioning again.
I decided to go anyway and chocked it up to poor customer service skills. Bad decision.
Yes, their computers were back up but they didn’t even have what I needed! Yes, they offered to «order» it, but no small flock owner «orders» one bag of feed. You need it, you go get it. This was a waste of my time and money. Why would I go back?
Maybe you should have someone over the age of 20 behind the register who actually cares if you have business or not.

Great store run by great people! Clint is almost always there and goes the extra mile to help find what you need. Great place for gardening or animal needs. As they say, no order too big or too small!
