Vickie in the finance office was friendly, efficient and sounded like she really appreciated my business. Overall, one of the most pleasant car buying experiences I have ever had.

The car buying experience was great but since they have hired the new younger guy that place has went from great to the worst place to be I tried to go in and make a payment with my card and keep in mind very car payment I have made has been made there until today he was very rude didn’t listen … and ever cursed at me and then threatened to call the cops when I tried to get the manager on the phone and then as I was leaving he continued to follow me to my car while yelling at me … I would not recommend this place to anyone as long as he is working there

I have purchased many cars in my past and hated the process each time. This had to be the easiest and nicest experience ever. Michael Nance in sales was not the stereotypical sales guy one usually encounters — a definite asset to the dealership. Ben Brightwell in finance did his thing quickly and got me a great rate. Just doesn’t get any better.

A recalled part on my car went out and I called Covert on a Monday to set up an appointment to get the car fixed early Wednesday morning. They said they had the needed part and would be able to complete the repair on Wednesday. I scheduled the day off of work and showed up for my appointment. They took my car back to the garage, then said they didn’t have the part after all and could not fix it that day. They said I would have to come back another day, but wouldn’t even bother to schedule an appointment or give me a definitive day the part would be available. I lost a day of work and still have a broken car. It was a terrible experience.

I arrived early for my appointment, but Christian was able to fit me in. He also advised me of a recall which I was not aware of, and advised me that it might take a little longer than the usual service. My wait was not unusually long, and the waiting room was comfortable and well stocked with coffee and donuts. All of my experiences with this dealership have been positive, and rewarding. This car may be the last one I ever drive, but should I ever need another, Covert will be the only place I will come to.

I have spent the last 2.5 days trying to get a straight answer about whether I can get a loaner. They picked up my Volt Monday morning, and it took until Tuesday at 4pm to even get someone on the phone to confirm they had it. They promised to deliver a loaner this morning (Wednesday), but then they didn’t have any, and have been going to call me «right back» with information for 4 hrs now. Their service department is terrible.

We purchased a 2014 Chevrolet Spark. The process was very easy and smooth — I had e-​mailed and chatted with Rick prior to our visit to the dealership so he knew I was coming, exactly what I was looking for, and had the car waiting for us to test drive as soon as we got there. We agreed on a fair price and the paperwork process was smooth as we did not have to deal with financing. Easily the most pleasant and least stressful car buying process I’ve ever had. :)

Great people! Great place! Great service! Buying a car should be this fun, and easy. It takes less than an hour to purchase a vehicle here. That is unheard of! The sales staff aren’t pushy, and they give great deals.

Had a great experience with Matt Murphy at Covert Chevrolet. We live much closer to two other Chevy dealers, but drove to Bastrop several times because of the great level of service Matt gave us.
He called and emailed back promptly (on his day off, no less), had the colors of the vehicle we were interested parked and ready for us when we drove up. More importantly, Matt was by far the most knowledgeable and was able to demonstrate all the bells and whistles of the new 2015 Tahoe.
With absolutely no pressure, he helped us figure out the features that fit our family best, and was always prompt to answer calls and emails. We were so pleased with our experience, we referred our daughter to Matt for her first ever solo car purchase — She had the same experience we did and we’re both loving our new Tahoes.
Our paperwork experience was painless — although we went with our Credit Union, their finance office offered us a great rate.

To the manager that replied back to me, it wasnt because of construction, like i stated previously that i had to go find someone and then they promised me a salesperson with no response while my wife and baby were in the car waiting. Then i was promised a call back that day wthin an hour, so after waiting 3 hours later, i called back myself. Eventually i talked to someone, but i still did not get to test dive or by a car on my time.

If you’re going to buy a car, buy from Rafa Lopez. He is the kindest, most down to earth, and HONEST car salesman I’ve ever met! He is always trying to find ways to save you money, and customer service is definitely at the top of his priority. Thanks Rafa!

I was so ready for my car that I have always wanted. I was really impressed in the amount time it took to get an answer from the bank, but really disappointed that I was not offered more from any other bank. Just seems that if you are interested in purchasing a vehicle and wiling to pay for it, something would be done to dig deeper to find someone to finance me. I was expecting more from Covert. Guess I will have to go somewhere else.

My girlfriend is (was) dealing with a salesman for a $ 26,000 used car. Seems like they’d wanna help us out and sell us a car, right? Nah.
She saw the SUV yesterday but wanted me to give my thoughts on the purchase. Her mind is (was!) pretty much made up, she really wants this vehicle and we’ve been looking for quite some time.
The sales guy tells her he has to leave before closing but says NO PROBLEM he’ll leave the keys with another salesman. They knew we would be arriving late because it takes almost an hour to get there from Austin.
We arrive 20 minutes before closing and walk in. The sales guy hasn’t given the keys to anyone and he’s left for the night. For 10 minutes the receptionist and one sales guy look for the keys and finally find them at 10 minutes til closing. The sales guy tosses me the keys and says «My wife was expecting me home a half hour ago, the truck is over there somewhere, give the keys to the receptionist when you leave».
Over there. Somewhere. And off he walks.
Right then and there I made up my mind that NO WAY IN HELL would we be spending $ 26,000 at a dealership that can’t even help you *during business hours*.
I ask the receptionist, «You guys close at 8 today right?» I was very puzzled that no one wanted to sell us a car. The lady says «it’s 5 minutes til 8» instead of YES we are open until 8. I remind her that it’s in fact TEN minutes before 8, not 5 minutes before 8. If the original sales guy had done what he said we wouldn’t be looking for keys at 10 minutes til closing.
When we told the people at Nyle Maxwell in Hutto we’b be arriving shortly before close not only were we offered a test drive but we were also invited in to sit and discuss the vehicle after our drive was complete — even though it was 15 minutes past closing time. That, to me, is good service and indicative of how I’ll be treated down the line.
We go to look at the car and frankly I’m unimpressed. I’m 100% sure the lackadaisical attitude of the key tosser skewed my view. I mean if they don’t even care to show you the car how are they gonna act when you have an actual problem?
One final thing: there is a fresh ketchup stain (still gooey!!) on the front floor carpet that was NOT there yesterday. If y’all need a vehicle to fetch lunch you might wanna take one with dark carpet!
