I dined at the Batavia Diner 2 for over two years. Unfortunately, I changed jobs and no longer can make my daily stop at the BT2. It’s a wonderful place that feels like home. The family that runs it is as nice as they come, very generous and kind people. The food is great! I mean, it’s not gourmet, but it’s solid. They will make you anything you want, literally. The Chilaquiles are fantastic! The homemade soup is always solid. Can’t go wrong with a turkey wrap either. The prices are GREAT, the people are GREAT, and the atmosphere is GREAT. Give this place a chance next time you’re in the area!

Best burger and french fries in Batavia! Really everything is amazing and best prices around. The owners are the sweetest people. Never had a bad meal here!

Located in an industrial park it’s a pleasant surprise. If you’re looking for a solid diner burger this is the place. Had the diner special burger and it was delicious. Fresh veggies and a expertly cook patty. The cook suggested I have onions and green peppers and it made the burger made all the difference.

This place is ridiculously cheap! They have a large menu with all types of diner classics(breakfast, club sandwiches, burgers etc). I usually get the Greek salad which is good, but very inconsistent. I’ve had it with blueberries in it at times, it’s just very random but always good. Sometimes it comes with a side of fruit, sometimes pita bread. One thing I did not like at all was that I watched them heat the pita bread on the flat top grill surrounded by meat and it tasted like meat… They also have lots of snacks and drinks, such as Red Bull.

This place is your typical mom n’ pop diner, except it’s nestled deep in the heart of an industrial area. The owners are kind people, who are always pleasant and the the food is average in most cases, slightly above average in some cases and sometime below in others. Let’s start with the good: the owners are Mexican, and even though it’s not on the menu, they will make you almost any Mexican dish you can think of. The chicken enchiladas are massive and delicious and their home made salsa is to die for. Many of their regular simple dishes, the kind of stuff you take for granted at most greasy spoons are spectacular. For example, how about a Cheese steak sandwich made with huge steak chunks instead of hastily prepared processed meats? A spiced and cheezy Italian beef that looks more like something gourmet than something thrown together in a moment! That’s what you can expect here, for the most part. Some thing’s aren’t awesome-stay away from the crepes, not so good. And I discovered that some breakfast dishes, for some reason or other, come with only one piece of toast, which I find infinitely strange. Also too many bean soups as the special. If you like bean soup, you’ll be in heaven. So yeah, small things aside, this place rocks. The family that runs it is kind, friendly and generous, so if you find yourself in Batavia, it’s def worth seeking out and having a meal. Wait!!! One last thing… Did I mention the prices?!? Right out of 1982. Where else you gonna get steak and eggs outside of Chicago for $ 6.75. Nowhere, that’s where. Enjoy!
