Yikes! This place is going down hill. This used to be our absolute favorite pizza place, but our last two visit were HORRIBLE. After getting really bad pizza and awful wings on Memorial Day we told ourselves it was probably just because they were slammed on the holiday. Well now we have been forced to rethink our forgiving attitude because our most recent experience, which was not on a holiday, was even worse. As far as what went wrong 1st, the wings had obviously been cooked way, way, way in advance, then tossed in almost no sauce. Basically they were tough, dry and devoid of flavor. I mean it was like eating chicken jerky. The only thing that might have been worse was the celery. Not only did the celery sticks appear to have been sitting in a fridge somewhere for weeks prior to us getting them, they were also put underneath the wings so they were nice and warm. Yup, nothing says refreshing like a limp warn celery stick. Ours went straight into the compost. Alas, the disappointment didn’t end there. The pizza we used to crave has somehow become barely edible. They have swapped out what used to be a sweet and fresh tasting sauce for sauce that is pasty and has sort of a metallic taste. They also weren’t overly generous with the cheese, but that was OK because it was no great shakes. Saddest of all though was the crust. Main street pizza used to have the best dough of all the pizzerias in Batavia, but what we received the last two time was truly horrible. It was dry, tough, and so bad that the crust we used to gobble down ended up being fed to our dogs. Another thing that really ticked us off is the pick-up area. Since main street pizza first opened trying to actually get into the place has been a big problem because the entrance consists of a very narrow area made even more narrow by the fact that the cashier’s counter is sitting right in the middle of it. This results in people trying to pick up food, people trying to get into the restaurant, people trying to get out of the restaurant, and people waiting for a table all trying to occupy the same space. It also means your pizzas are basically sitting near the door, which in the winter results in arctic blasts quickly cooling your food down as the door opens and closes. The reason I bring this up is that when we learned the restaurant was expanding we simply assumed they would use it as an opportunity to fix this HUGE problem, but no. They’ve expanded the capacity of the restaurant, but left the bottleneck in place, so now you have to fight even more people in order to get in and out of the place. Honestly, I’m surprised the fire marshal doesn’t have a problem with it because God help the people inside if Main Street Pizza ever has a fire. I don’t know if we’ll ever give main street pizza a chance to get a third strike, but right now we are trying to remember the good old days when their food was still edible, sigh… Whether you’ve never tried it or are a huge fan, consider this a warning to lower your expectations should you decide to pay the restaurant a visit. At least that way you’ll be mentally prepared for what might be an exceptionally disappointing experience.

This used to be our go to place in Batavia to eat. No more. Not only did they get the order wrong but the waitress argued with us. How can you mistake a white garlic sauce for a charbroiled BBQ red garlic sauce? All you have to do is look at it. Then as she’s trying to explain that it is the charbroiled garlic sauce… which I did not order because I tried it before and know I hated it… she actually touched it with her fingernail… GROSS!!! Finally she took it back… after several minutes of her arguing with us… and told the manager our complaint. She then returned and said the manager would see to our order personally, the«Manager» took the same wings in the white sauce and the tossed them in the red sauce and she brought them back to us. Now they are cold and still not charbroiled… At this point I gave up. We paid for the BAD food and HORRIBLE service and left. Yes we did leave a tip. Yes it was based on the total of the bill. I really wanted to leave no tip at all but you can’t help stupid. What’s the moral of this story? Never going back.

We ordered delivery and it was delivered in less time than promised.(Plus) The pizza had good favor and the crust was hand tossed. I asked for the cheese and pepperoni pizza, but for the pepperoni on only one half and maybe put the reminder on that half. I don’t think they did, the pepperoni was sparse on the one half. My main issue was the supplies. Other pizza places will bring plates, napkins, cups for 2 liters, for example. They did not bring any thing but the exact order, not even Parmesan cheese. They delivered to my hotel room, common sense would tell you I don’t have plates and such. Fail.

We pick up pizza from here at least once a month. The family special is huge and cheap! It will feed my family for two meals, sometimes three. Pizza is good and the wings great. They have so many different flavor a to choose from.

I wish I could give this 100 stars. The deep dish pizza is the best in all of Erie, Monroe and Genesee counties… The regular Pie has a sweet sauce that is to die for… The wings are phenomenal… Everything I’ve had from there, I’ve enjoyed tremendously. I recommend it to everyone

Went with herd of kids. Went on off hours. Quick service. Really enjoyed the fried dough desert with strawberries at the end. We split it with 6 people and everyone loved it. Baked wings were good. I wish we could have adventured into some of their unique flavored for wings and had ordered the Chicago style but the kids wanted plain cheese pizza. I’d go back here in a second.

I tried Main St Pizza Company for the first time today and I’ll definitely be back! I live in Rochester and my siblings live in Buffalo so we like to meet half way in Batavia occasionally. We thought we’d give Main St Pizza a try and we weren’t disappointed. I ordered a deep dish pizza and it was amazing. The crust was to die for. Before our meals came out, we shared an order of the basic nachos(just chips with melted cheddar and Monterrey Jack cheeses. They were so good! I don’t always enjoy nachos at other places because they load them up with so much stuff and tons of the chips are hiding underneath with no cheese. No Bueno. But these nachos were great. The best part? The prices were great! There were seven of us(three adults and four kids) and our bill came to $ 72. That $ 72 covered a small deep dish(and I took plenty of that home), four personal pizzas, a kids hot dog meal, a small salad, an order of wings, and the nachos. That’s a steal! I thought the food we had was definitely five stars. My only complaint would be the bathroom. It was dirty and looked like it hadn’t received attention in a long time. Now that I know, I’ll make sure to go before we arrive :)

This is why Unilocal is always our choice when we need to find a place in a snap! Heading back from a trip into Boston, we were 4 hours from home and ready for a dinner break. Pull up Unilocal and what was near us as we are on the highway and this place comes up. We took the exit as I’m pulling up the menus and reading the reviews and said Yes this is the place we need to stop at. As we are walking in my husband asks another patron walking in what they thought and they said they loved it and come at least 2x a week and we are at the right location for some great pizza. It smelled delicious and warm when you walked in. Small cozy restaurant, nothing fancy, busy but we sat right away. The menu is extensive from pizzas, calzones, paninis to Subs with a few salad options. I ordered the house salad and the kids did the make your own pizza. Hubby ordered the deep dish with meatballs and as I’m always the healthy pain eater I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich minus the bun. The kids pizzas came in a deep tray with individual toppings and the dough already formed. They had fun making their pizzas and even my daughter who didn’t want too enjoyed the process. Food came out in a timely manner and all around us we were seeing wings that looked and smelled divine-hubby regrets not getting them and was thinking of taking them to go. The kids pizzas came out looking amazing! They did such a great job making them that it was fun watching them so excited to eat it. The deep dish pizza was delicious! Delicious isn’t actually the best way to describe it. Comparing it to one of our most favorite and being the top pizza place in our city, this one was a near tie. The deep dish dough was fluffy and soft-not at all greasy. The marinara was light and bright w a touch of sweetness and the cheese was melty and gooey-everything you want in a pizza. And I-the one who rarely ever eats pizza took a nice large bite of hubby’s and continued to pick at it and really had to stop myself it was absolutely amazing. My chicken was good/it is definitely a frozen breast, thin and grilled but it was protein and really I couldn’t complain –I did have them deconstruct it for me with nothing on it so its not fair for me to really review it-yes it’s not the chicken I’m used to eating but it was perfectly fine. I’m so happy we found this place at the right time I pulled up Unilocal and happened to be one exit from-this is a must MUST go to spot if you are passing through, or in the area!

Every time I have been here it is awesome, last night I was here for a family get together came all the way from buffalo area near the airport. Our table was already seated and my mom came about 20 mins after us and the staff was very friendly and patient about us taking up the corner spot near the window. The waitress was really on top of everything and was quick. I had a chicken Caesar salad and that was delicious cheaper than anywhere in buffalo I think $ 6 buffalo would have been like $ 10 the only time they checked to see if we were done was towards the end the waitress just poked her head over the table to see how far along we were and I hope whoever left tip gave her a big tip because she was on top of everything. As for the food it was out fast after we ordered all the food I am pretty sure there were 2 Chicken Caesar salads, 1 house salad with romaine and a homemade dressing, 2 panini orders different from each other, 2 separate wing orders and a large pizza All in all the experience is awesome there and it was a nice experience but I have never had a bad experience with Main Street pizza

There are few times I would drive 45 minutes out of my way for food, but for pizza, it’s almost a guarantee. Main Street pizza has all my favorite things-adorable décor, deep dish pizza, and smoking hot company(well, at least at my table thanks to Boyf). But really, the dough is second to none and they use real crushed tomatoes for their sauce which makes it incredible times a zillion. Definitely a must-stop!!!

Have had wings here a few times. Been very good. Today I ordered 24 garlic wings and was extremely disappointed that they were covered with rancid smelling Parmesan cheese. I thought I had stepped in dog poo when I got into the car, only to realize when I got to the house, it was the Parmesan cheese. Called to tell them I was dissatisfied and was blown off by the person who answered the phone by her telling me, we always put Parmesan on our GARLIC wings. I did not order PARMESAN !!! Sucked. Great pizza and great wings! I have never had bad food here, everything I eat is great! My only complaints are that the restaurant is to small(but it is expanding soon) and the waiters and waitresses can be rude. I usually order take out instead of eat in because the service is always a hit or miss at this place. Some of the girls act like they don’t want to be working and it shows. One time I waited 40 minutes for the check and waving down the waiter was impossible because he was no where to be found. I went here for my birthday with a group so we needed 2 tables pushed together and the hostess was not accommodating at all and all we got was attitude, luckily one of the waitresses stepped up and took care of the situation and was very apologetic about it.

Food here is consistently very good, especially the deep dish pizza. The service is iffy at times though. It is a neat little pizza joint to take your date or the family. Get wings with your pizza. They make great wings. Wash it down with a cold beer. You won’t be disappointed with the food quality.

Main street pizza is what pizza is supposed to be, fresh, tasty, and a variety to choose from! I love this place! Any place that offers a deep dish pie automatically gets a brownie point! Sorry thin crusters, I’m not a fan per say! We ordered a small deep with pep, sausage and shrooms and it was the perfect size! The sauce tasted great, not too sweet but not bland either! The peps where tasty and the sausage was off the hook bad ass! Top it with the proper amount of cheese on tasty dough and you have yourself a Rockstar pizza pie! This place seems to always have people flying in and out of here with obvious reason as too why! Hell yeah I’ll be stopping on back in to grab me a slice, it certainly doesn’t get much better in the Batavia area, that’s for sure!

Street Pizza is a big deal in Batavia. There are 2 places to get it. One of them is the main place to get it, the other is the alternate place to get it. Alternate Street Pizza is okay, but Main Street Pizza is better. Having tried this Pizza twice in quick succession very recently(and Starlight shared it with me too, as you can see from the picture), I have to say I was completely wrong. Occasionally I get things wrong, and this is one of those cases. Because we’re talking about an utterly delicious slice, one of the best slices in WNY. It rivals Pauly’s right here in Batavia which is one of my favourite places. While the other things on the menu there may be better(and better value), I think for the pizza alone, and the slices, I like Main St Pizza the best in Batavia… and easily top 20 in WNY. Not sure about top 10, but it’s not far off. It’s quite Buffalonian… but it’s also quite NYC and thin crust. It’s hard to categorize it since it’s somewhere halfway between the two. An entity unto itself. But either way, it looks delicious — as you can see from my picture — and tastes even better. The cheese and sauce and crust are all utterly delicious. The slices are enormous(like my thingy) and if Starlight tells you to eat it then hell… you need to come and put it in your mouth. The pizza I mean. Not my thingy. But that too if you insist. ******** Original, dumb*ss review of mine: I haven’t had this pizza in a long, long time, but when I did, I didn’t like it that much, so I’m going to give it a 3 until next time I get the chance to try it. When you have Pauly’s in the same town as you it must be hard… Pauly’s is ridiculously good on every level. When I get the chance to try another slice I’ll let you know if my rating needs adjusting. From what I remember, it was good but not memorable or special.

Pizza is awesome. Best pizza sub I ever had in my life! But beware… There was a woman that whipped her giant breast out onto the table and breastfed her baby right on the table. I was completely disgusted. I do not need to see that when I’m eating ! Unless your into that… Lol. No blanket or anything to help cover herself up. Hopefully they use disinfectant wipes on the tables, or a disinfectant spray. The type of people eating here had no class, but food is incredible !!! Get take out and get the pizza sub!
