Had our wedding here in the beginning of October, Jennifer was super nice and very helpful throughout all of it. Very affordable prices without having to give up classiness. Food was amazing. Everyone kept talking about how good it was.
They were very helpful with out decorations and such. The bartenders let me bring in a bottle of my wife’s favorite wine, and a 6 pack of my favorite beer. All and all, I was able to have a spectacular wedding, with an affordable price tag.

For what is is worth the food was good and the staff were polite and friendly the building was nice. The food was good but easy to cook cheap items. We had to use paper plates and plastic cutlery and drinks were not provided even though we paid 20 bucks each for fried chicken. It was good but not 20 bucks good.

Riverview Banquets is a beautiful reception venue right on the fantastic Fox River. The venue has wonderful river views and has recently been entirely remodeled with a raised ceiling, hardwood dancing floors, chandeliers, updated bathrooms and a new private bar room that can be open for ceremonies. It is a perfect place for gatherings as the staff are friendly, helpful and positive people to work with. Tony is the BEST! Jenny is awesome at arranging details and the food is great. Great for family get-​togethers and the Knights of Columbus often host many local events at this Hall as well. Spacious, Clean, Calm great place to go!

I had my wedding at Riverview Banquets in September, and everything was amazing!
When I initially went to Riverview, I thought that there was no way that I would like it. I thought that there was no way it could be worth my time at the prices — nothing else at that price was even remotely what I wanted.
Instead, I was greeted by a great venue where you have privacy (only one banquet room!), a separate bar area, a stage inside (great for the DJ or for a backup ceremony location), and a gorgeous gazebo along the Fox River for the ceremony (which I did use, and I had the most perfect day for it!)
I can’t say enough about Jennifer, the woman who helped plan everything with me. She answered all my stupid little questions via email very quickly.
It wasn’t the prettiest venue inside, but with a little imagination, I was able to rent decorations from other vendors to make the inside much prettier than it was for still less than I would have spent at other places without any extra decorations! I totally recommend chair covers and also having your head table along the windows and renting a fabric backdrop — it added a ton to the room!
There was only one bad thing, and it was fairly minor — we were told we would get leftovers wrapped up to take home, but when we asked at the end of the night, everything but the top tier of my cake had been thrown out. If they tell you this, make sure to have someone remind the staff that night!

nice place too bad the sign that announces it is very small. I thought the event I was attending was in a private home until i was pointed to the place close to the river. very nice venue. food is ok. they have a great view of the river. just watch out for the bird poop on the lawn.

Wonderful for Cub Scout banquet. Attentive. Wait staff and nice facility. It is set back off the road so it is easy to miss.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here. The food was wonderful and the staff was friendly and very attentive. We took some beautiful pictures outside by the river and in their gazebo. They just did some renovations, so the main banquet room is very beautiful. We highly recommend Riverview Banquets.

Nice atmosphere, comfortable and friendly. The staff and owners go out of their way to help make your special event nice. The food is great and there is a lot of it! Nice place, nice people great food.
