Baton Rouge Airport’s food court is only as big as the airport itself, which for folks not keeping track, is dinky small(#1). Burger Bistro might be the only place left to get any real food that isn’t chips or prepackaged. The good news is the place serves food, almost cafeteria style with made to order cajun food and burgers off the grill. The bad news is it’s all a bit mediocre and very overpriced. How over priced are we talking? Let’s say for $ 23, I got a burger, a small cup of jambalaya, and a cup of chicken & sausage gumbo. It was barely filled my traveling companion and I, and he’s a light eater. The burger was McDonalds-esque and for $ 8, was a total rip off. Shockingly the chicken & sausage gumbo was tasty but the jambalaya was stale and a bit dry. A bit of advice for those looking to eat at BR airport and want something tasty from a local joint — buy it and bring it in. I recommend Tony’s Seafood: ______________ (#1) Leon Phelps says«yeeeeeh, real deeenky thsmall!»
