Horrible horrible customer service! The only positive was the sales guy, Timothy, who is pretty consistent I admit. Always picks up promptly when I call and very informative but he was the only good aspect about the whole experience. Tried to set up a new phone line, fax line with Internet service for my new business. Told him I needed the service installed promptly, and that«urgency» was a factor. No one contacted me all work week. A while work week goes by and nada. I called a few times too but was never replied to. So I cancelled. The morning I cancelled the service, Cox tries to call me 30 min later to set up an installation time. UHNO, I ALREADYCANCELLED. The lady asked why and I said that my file was on someone’s desk untouched all week. Why call me after I cancel? Thank God I experienced their poor customer service before I was stuck in contract with them for 3 years!!!

Cox customer service is horrible, which would be ok if there product was good but it is horrible as well. If you are having problems with their internet, they always threaten that if the tech does not find something they will charge you for the visit. I recently spent over $ 1,000 on an independent tech to come out and prove that it was not our system that had the problem but on Cox’s side. I called about having too much interference in the Cox lines coming into my house which kicks me out of VPNs and VOIPs and causes a lot of frustration, and they pull the same thing«We are going to charge you for our tech visit if he does not find something». At home I previously paid for the top tier internet speeds, but after a month of tracking the speed, I realized that I was paying close to $ 100 for the speed of their $ 19.99(for three months then $ 38) Cox is my last choice. Already dumped them for TV and have loved DirecTV, now looking for an alternative for Internet.
