I always eat beef phở when I come here. I know it’s not the best in Baton Rouge, but it’s still pretty good and it’s close to where I live. Some people have complained the broth is a little bland. Well shit, just add all the items to your phở then! Adding all them bean sprouts, cilantro, basil, jalapenos, limes, sriracha, and hoison sauce is my favorite part. Load that shit up. If it doesn’t taste good to you after that, then you probably just have shitty taste buds and don’t enjoy phở in the first place. The servers are really nice too. There’s a younger Asian guy that’s so nice. He’s the best one. I don’t know his name.

I have only ordered the phở here but everytime it is awesome and I have found it to be my favorite spot in town. Service has always been quick!

Today was my first visit at Druken Fish! We ordered The Druken fish roll, Acadiana roll, Shrimp tempura roll, shrimp spring rolls, gyoza, and shrimp tempura! I was a major fan of the spring rolls! But they pretty much taste the same everywhere I go which is understandable. My favorite roll was the Druken fish roll! Loved it! I was not a fan of the Acadiana roll, but my boyfriend liked it! The shrimp tempura was great as well. It tastes the same as other places. The gyoza was pretty good as well! Overall it was a great experience and the food was cooked to perfection! This is definitely our new sushi spot!

Worst food ever. Most of their food taste like nothing but salt. Their phở is always unpredictable with an exception of being disappointing all the times. To go orders are always messed up and if you call them, they will just make an excuse of running out of stuff.

First visit, had the Phở. It was my first time eating phở I found it to be very bland but a good size I had the beef brisket expecting more of a brisket type meat which wasn’t the case the broth was very clear and it took a lot of additional items to get any real flavor. The dumplings were very nice and fast the dipping sauce was a bit too cold which took away from the dumplings. Nice establishment and sushi bar was very appealing. I will go back but not for the phở, most likely to try their sushi not a bad first visit.

The service very pleasant in a cheerful atmosphere. The food was tasty but slightly overpriced. Over all I had a good experience

After eating here many months back, I wanted to write a review for this place but I never got around to it. The food is actually really good ranging from the sushi that you can order to the hot plates. I absolutely love the Curry Chicken as it gives you a lot of veggies along with it, and when i asked them to add some spicy to the mix, they don’t hold back which is awesome as I’m a big fan of spicy foods. I’ve eaten here more then once and I do continue to come back from time to time as it building is very clean and well kept. The receptionist and waiters are really nice and will give you their honest opinion if you ask for it as it’s how i learned about the Curry Chicken. I didn’t get the chance to try out the other things on the menu but I’m going to, and i believe you should too. If you aren’t too keen on seafood, they have a nice selections of meats to accommodate the meat eaters and vice-versa. (The reason why I can’t give it a 5 star rating is because I have yet to try out the other items on the menu as my personal review is based primarily about the food and not just the experience, but it’s getting there!)

Some of their options are good but don’t go here for phở. The phở is very plain. Sushi is good but not the best sushi restaurant.

Walked in, nice, relaxing atmosphere. Phở was good and hearty. Sushi roll was good but extra small(fruit roll up size) for the large price probably would not order sushi from there again. Fit stars due to the small Sushi roll

Went in to try the Phở because it was closer to my house then other locations that serve Vietnamese cuisine. The phở was bland to me. The broth tasted salty and lacking that beef bone flavor that most Phở has. The lackluster service was also a downfall.

Great option for sushi/Vietnamese food if you’re in the LSU area. Came here for lunch and the standout dish for me was the baked salmon appetizer, it was VERY good! I recommend anyone try this dish when coming here. The restaurant was clean and the service was great. The food didn’t take long to come, even though the place was getting a pretty good lunch crowd. I also tried the Boston roll and it was very good, the tuna tasted fresh. I definitely plan on coming back here and trying a few of the Vietnamese dishes as well!

If Japanese, Vietnamese, and Chinese restaurants did the fusion dance this would be the result. The restaurant has taken the best dishes from each region to serve you here in Baton Rouge. While the menu isn’t quite as extensive as one would find at a primary restaurant the options are quite tasty. Personally, I came for the phở and I’ll be back for more Sunday hangover cure phở. The phở was much better here than I’ve had in many other places. The servers and chefs were all very welcoming and willing to help you with anything you might need.

This is my second time eating here and I love phở and usually really picky about my phở but Drunken Fish does not disappoint. Both times I ate here I got the beef phở which was very tasty and a decent size portion. We had a sushi roll to start the rock n roll. It was a little big for one bit but great taste and quality. The atmosphere is fun and the service has always been great. I would definitely recommend this place to others and be back soon.

The absolute BEST vegetarian PHO I’ve ever had, ever. I wish I had the recipe! I would eat this every day if I could.

This place is ok. It’s a weird mix of LSU appreciation and Japanese culture. I ordered the avocado roll which was pretty good and some phở. It seemed more salty than I’m used to. Don’t get me wrong though I liked it enough to finish it. It was strangely muggy in the restaurant so by the end of the meal I was sweating pretty hard. I’d come back to give the other dishes a shot for sure. Service was pretty good but we were some of the only people in there.

I’ve only been here for the Vietnamese food and its OK, but relatively bland and boring compared to other places. The phở doesn’t have a lot of spices that I really enjoy in one of my favorite dishes. The spring rolls are mostly rice noodles with little vegetables and no cilantro and mint to make it pop. The banh mi is OK, but other places do it better. Like I said before, its OK but nothing to say«Wow, that was awesome!»

Great option for Asian cuisine near the LSU area. They just started serving banh mi. Although the sandwich is not authentic and is more fusion, it is really good. The sandwich is served as a combo and comes with a side salad and a cup of miso soup. The dressing on the salad is phenomenal!

I kinda wish Unilocal would allow ½ stars, because this place deserves a 4.5 star review. But since I can’t I thought I’d be nice and round up. The sushi roll menu was so appetizing that I took a picture of it so I could«scratch» off what I haven’t tried. I ordered the Playgirl roll and my hubby Jack ordered the Halloween roll(per my request). We were both blown away! By far the best sushi we’ve had in Baton Rouge so far. Looking forward to my next visit!

Overall, I feel like I need to go again before I can have a legitimate opinion of the restaurant, though I did enjoy myself while I was there. When I return, I will have to try the phở. I had eaten a late lunch before I went with one of my friends, so I told the waitress that I wanted something light. She suggested that I have the Com Dia, which was essentially a grilled chicken breast with some rice a sort-of salad and some steamed broccoli. There wasn’t really anything worth noting on the sides, but I did enjoy the chicken breast, it was well seasoned and juicy. My friend had the phở, which was very delightful. I am not sure what meats he had in it, though I have to say that the broth was my favorite part, with the cilantro and other seasonings. The reason I feel I need to go back again before being able to fully formulate my opinion is that I didn’t get the sort of thing I would normally get, though what I had was satisfying. Oh yeah, they have these wonderful little Japanese sodas called Ramune. I had the melon one, and it was very nice.
