Love coming here to see Sophie for full sets, she is friggin great always detailed and clean. The only thing that makes me a weee bit sad is the pedicure $ specially when you as a customer have no choice but to get on those chair contraptions. Waxing is also available and they have expanded and open up their area. Quite relaxing. thanks Sophie

Since my last review I revisited Excellent Nails for a pedicure. And I was very pleased! The nice woman who did my pedicure shaped my nails and painted my white tips just like I love them. The massage was long lasting and relaxing. She used an orange scrub that had a refreshing orange scent and wrapped my legs hot towels. Everyone there was so nice a refer to you as «baby». I would definitely return!

Pretty bad. Three of us went together and no one got quality nails. My toes were glumpy, with polish on my skin. The other girl got a bizarre pattern because the woman painting couldn’t understand English well enough (and she wanted just a solid color). They use some awful gooey honey like stuff on your legs, and don’t wash it off well. All three of want home and had to wash our legs — very sticky. Also, there was some skin floating in the bowl for one of us. Pretty turned off. Only positive was it is very inexpensive. But I’d rather pay double than ever go back.

Every time I’ve been here (6 – 7 times) after I’ve left the polish started chipping off my nails within 24hours. I recently got eyelashes put on here and she put so much glue that my eyes watered for a week and then many of my eyelashes came out when I removed them the way she told me to. I noticed that they are nicer to some people than others even though every time I left I would tip at least $ 5.00 per service but the customer service I received never got any better. I would not recommend this salon.

2 previous reviews have claimed that this place is the best… If this is the best that Baton Rouge has to offer, then I will avoid getting my nails done in this city.
Not sanitary, not consistent. The older lady rushed through my friend & my pedicure.
She «faked» using the cuticle tool on the 3 smallest toes. I looked at her & said «Seriously?»
I don’t think she realized what I was implying.
I ended up with polish on more than just my nails. No bueno.

This is the best nail salon in town! The people here are friendly and helpful!
Johnny is an AMAZING nail artist! I usually always stick with acrylic nails and I’ll rarely get a pedicure. But the other ladies are awesome! Johnny and one other woman usually handle nails and the other ladies handle pedicures.
Awesome work! Johnny is the only guy I’ll go to. If there is any other guy, dont go to him. Johnny pays attention to detail, knows what looks good/​bad, and will tell you what you should get if you’re not sure.
