Hobby Lobby

Hobby lobby must have some of the rudest cashiers ever! There always seems to be a despite about prices and there always seems to be a manager dragging butt to resolve it. The associates on the floor have all been helpful and the prices are decent, but checking out makes me want to run for the hills!

poorly stocked store and very poor customer service

The service I received here was pretty dismal, but the selection was great! I found everything I needed (solid colored handkerchief and ribbon) for a reasonable price. I do find that some items are more expensive here than they are at other places (such as Hancock Fabrics, if in need of fabrics and other sewing supplies), but they are generally not too far off the mark.

I have shopped at this hobby, arts and crafts store for many years. This location and the other location on College Dr. in Baton Rouge, LA. This is my preferred location however since it’s not so crowded by the LSU students. They seem to have better quality stock and more of it at this location. Prices are very competitive with Michael’s stores. The employees are super nice and helpful. Problem is finding one that will help you. But when I call, they are prompt and courteous on the phone, and will issue a raincheck if needed with no hassles. They will hold things for you if you need them to save something before you can get to the store. Especially if it’s hard to find. This store seems to be kept a little bit cleaner than the College Dr. store which is another reason I prefer to shop here. They always have what I need. Michael’s is short of stock, has a dirty store, and high prices, and the employees aren’t that nice. Hobby Lobby is just the opposite. Keep up the great work Hobby Lobby! …and I’m a very harsh critic! I would have to say my only complaint is the lighting in the parking lot. After the sun sets, it gets a little spooky with not even one parking lot light lit up. I try to park close.
