Overall it was ok. It took 20 minutes to get our appetizer, beer cheese and pretzels. The pretzels were a bit overdone, cheese was great; I could tell it had a dark beer mixed in. Problem came a minute after we got apps, our meal arrived. So as we ate pretzels or fries got cold. I had the Cheese Chicken sandwich, the chicken had to much breading and was dry, even with the sauce. Hubby had a burger that was overcooked and dry. Service was fine. She kept our drinks full and apologized for the appatizer taking so long. Overall avrage. It’s been about 2 years since our last visit and now I remember why.

So so. Wings were ok. My celery tasted like pickles. Didn’t know if they were intentionally soaked in pickle juice or they were bad. Won’t be back anytime soon. Waitress was nice about it but still charged me for the side of celery.

I never thought I’d actually enjoy food from a Hooters but this place surprised me. Actually I would never have set foot in a Hooters again were it not for my friend wanting to go, and seeing as he was my ride I had little choice in the matter. Got here around 6 in the afternoon and there was a small crowd, not too many people but the place wasn’t empty. Were seated quickly and got drinks then the waitress disappeared for about 10 minutes. She only had 2 tables so I have no idea what she was doing. Eventually she showed back up to take our orders and I decided to try the Tex Mex Nachos considering not much on the menu sounded appetizing and I know from past experience their wings aren’t all that great. My friend got a plain cheeseburger. Considering the place wasn’t that busy I found the wait on the food to be pretty unreasonable at nearly 20 minutes. When it did come out I was absolutely shocked at the size of the mountain of nachos I was given. This was off the appetizer menu but could probably comfortably feed 3 people as a meal. The flavors of the different toppings were all good, I felt that it could have used more jalapenos but I made do with adding hot sauce. I managed to finish nearly half before I couldn’t possibly eat another bite. We had finished eating for about 10 minutes before the waitress showed back up. She still only had 2 tables so again I have no idea what she was doing. I took the rest of my nachos to go but leftover nachos are always soggy and never as good as fresh. I have to say that I would definitely go back for the nachos, but that’s really about it. The service is slow, the waitress was minimally friendly and honestly I would have paid her to put on some more clothes — she did NOT need to be wearing anything revealing.

Do I really need to review? Everyone knows what to expect from hooters. It’s a very generic place and this one is like most I’ve been too but if you want to get into specifics… Place was clean which is good. Food was ok as usual. Nothing spectacular. Our server was nice and service was good. I really only go here when friends want to. Not usually my top pick but if your into this kinda place then this review may be useless.

I’ve always been partial to the original Hooters on College Drive, but I’ve grown to like the other location on Siegen as the years have gone by. Service is pretty decent and the food is always good. It’s not the same atmosphere as being over by LSU but it’s a close second. They have daily specials and you can get out of here at a decent price if you are savvy in your choices. That leaves more for tips.

What happened to Hooters? A few years back, Hooters was phenomenal. Awesome wings, great atmosphere, plenty to look at Now, not so much. The wings are«good» but they used to be great. They used to be huge, and had tons of different sauces to choose from. The Thai chili was my favorite. Now the wings are tiny, similar to BDubs(which suck) and only a few sauces to choose from. The servers are always in a bad mood(or they have an attitude). When you walk in, nothing, silence. Three of four of them sitting at the front counter scowling at you.(You can’t even produce a fake«hello» and smile WTF) as if you’re there for them. I’m very disappointed in the direction of this once great restaurant. You would think that they would be finding new and innovative ways to stay current with all of the copy cat Breastraunts popping up. At this rate I give them five years before they call it quits. Sad

I have always liked this location — been 10 – 15 times over the years — seems well run to me — bathrooms clean and hooters girls are nice and polite although sometimes too business-like than friendly — but overall no complaints. While it is rare I have seen a table only of females – less than 3 times — I think about 30−35% of the tables have females dining. So what about the food and drink? Beer is cold – albeit a little on the expensive side – and very satisfied with the food. I do have limited food knowledge here — wings, burgers, fries are about all I get here —but I think the wings – naked or fried – are better than almost all of the wing places I patronize and the burgers are flavorful. Fries taste good. I have had the philly 2 times and it’s meh. The buffalo shrimp appetizer is a disappointment — what is depicted in the picture is not what appears – closer to shrimp size than buffalo. Still and overall, this is a regular place for me

Went to Hooters today on Siegen Lane. When waitress took order she did not write it down which makes one think she can remember. Ordered the smothered chicken sandwich with no mushrooms and«naked.» Which they offered on their menu, with a salad, no croutons. Sandwich came back with bun and mushrooms. I took the bun off, no big deal and the thing appeared to have mushrooms. She took the plate to the kitchen, and returned with the same plate, with onions, peppers and cheese hanging off the plate where someone had looked for mushrooms. Uh NO! I told her that I was not going to take food that someone had picked around. So she went to the kitchen, and complained to the other staff in front of me about my order. Manager stated that she didn’t know what«naked» meant. So why doesn’t she know what you have on your menu? Then manager came back and was unsure what«naked» meant. She knew what it meant on wings, but thought naked was plain. Hooters on Siegen needs to get their act together!!! Horrible service, horrible management team. Needs a communication continue ed class for employees. Dana D.

Obviously I went in harder with this review than any other because I’ve been to the slidell location. This location is a bit outdated and small. But it’s got TVs everywhere though and the staff is pretty nice! Good comes out fresh.

Waitress was cute. Although some of the girls were NOT lookers… Food was average.

Service sucks and the wings are not that good. Be honest people, the wings are not good… you go there for one reason… they have a gimmick and it will continue to thrive in baton rouge because of the gimmick but that’s all. The service sucks so does the food but they’re not really interested in sending out a good product served by good waitstaff, they are only interested in putting butts in the seats by turning the tables and raising check averages. That’s all, they do not care about the customers.

I like hooters. I like this restaurant too. Chicken wings are good if they are hot. I usually have to preface my french fry order with«bring ‘em hot or I’m sending them back». That usually does the trick although we still have to ask for a fresh batch every once and a while. LOVE the hamburger. With bacon and provolone. One of my favorite burgers in the city. This is their 20 year anniversary so if you come on the 20th of the month you can get wings for their 1991 prices. Not a huge deal but cheaper. This is going to come off sexist but… ever since they got a female manager the«wow factor» of the waitresses has been less WOW and more MOM.

I have to commend Hooters for their service here! The waitress was super nice and attentive despite our large group of 20 people. Our cups were always being refilled and she constantly catered to whatever we needed. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich which was not spicy at all when I ordered Hot AND the chicken was dry. It was a disappointment which explains the 4 star rating.

The food is good, but less than half of the servers there are really good servers. I have been there many times, because of the food, but not once has a manager ever come to my table and ask me if everything is ok. My wife and I are there consistently on Wed. for there wing platter special and we see the same managers ever time. Just a nod and a «hello» or «thanks for coming back, we appreciate your business» would be nice.
