This Applebee’s always have great service and they never keep you waiting. The staff is fast and friendly and very respectable. The food comes out hot and swift within moments of ordering. The prices are reasonable with something to fit anyone’s budget. The alcoholic beverages needs a lil more alcohol in them, it was like drinking fancy fruit punch.

Me and my roommate came here for some late food. Besides not being greeted, or waitress was great and got our food in time. The spinach and artichoke dip was tasty and the salsa that came with it was a great compliment to it. For my entrée, I got the Pepper-Crusted sirloin with whole grains. I was a little scared at first but it was really good and tasty. The restaurant was very tidy and clean. Overall, a good experience.

Food was good I got a pepper sirloin. However, the bar service left a lot to be desired. I frequently sit at bar tops when I go out to eat and probably wouldn’t go back if this guy was working. He repeatedly coughed on his hands, rubbed his nose and was eating gummy bears he kept in a cooler for glasses behind the bar all in front of guest and without washing his hands before handing out plates of food to people. This may seem like a small factor to some, but common etiquette and hygiene matter a lot to me as a patron. In addition I had to ask for my water glass to be refilled while it was just myself and 1 couple at the bar, he never left behind the bar just wasn’t attentive. Anyway food was a solid 4 stars but service –10.

If you really want to eat at Applebee’s I’d recommend going to another location in BR. I went there for lunch today with my co-workers, and the waitress was awful! I ordered a chicken fajita rollup and I was given a completely different wrap. When I told the waitress that I received the wrong order, she lied and insisted that it was a chicken fajita rollup(Even though it was missing the pico de gallo and chipotle sauce, and it had a completely different sauce). She didn’t even check to verify that it she may have made a mistake… In the end I decided to keep the wrong entrée, and focus on enjoying my meal with my coworkers. However, when the check arrived she charge me for a different, more expensive entrée(even though I supposedly received a chicken fajita rollup). Once again, when I questioned her about it, she lied! She tried to claim that she couldn’t ring me up for the chicken fajita rollup for some BS reason, and claimed that it cost the same amount. I finally put my foot down, and she refunded the difference. Needless to say this was not a positive experience. I doubt I’ll return. I can get over mistakes, but I cannot forgive being repeatedly lied to and overcharged.

It’s Applebee’s, which is a chain, so keep that in mind. We usually end up going here late night when not much else is open without a huge crowd. Monday night $ 6 burgers, $ 5 top shelf long islands and half price appetizers after 9pm keeps us coming back. Got the brunch burger, and it was delicious! A little too much cheese for me, but overall great. Asked for the fry refills and ended up taking a lot home. Our server was very nice and let us know when food was taking longer than expected. I’ve never had a bad experience there and love it even more now that I’m 21 and can try their cocktails. Forget the name of the drink I ordered, but it was mango and jalepeno, super spicy. Loved it!

Some of the best customer service from a chain restaurant that I’ve experienced in a very long time the brunch burger was definitely on point!!!

Walked in a few Saturdays ago and was told I had to wait 30 minutes to be seated because the kitchen was backed up. Meanwhile there was a very small crowd of people in the restaurant, to be honest the restaurant was empty and there were available tables all over. I asked the hostess could we just sit and at least get drinks we wouldn’t order food until after 30 minutes she says her manager told her not to seat anyone. It was the most bizarre experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. As I was leaving, 3 other tables that were already seated followed and complain they had been waiting either on food, drinks, or service.

We had a great experience here. We arrived at 5pm on Saturday and were seated right away. Our food came out hot and everything was tasty. We’ll be back!

After seeing a movie, we stopped in for dinner. The hostess told us that there was a 15 minute hold because the kitchen was backed up. I asked to be seated and was told no by the hostess. I inquired why we couldn’t be seated and served water while we looked over the menu and was told no, all she could do was take down a name but there was a 15 minute hold on service. 8:45pm and lots of empty tables. Needless to say, we left. I would have chosen 0 stars, but that’s not an option.

I don’t see how this place has so many negative reviews. I went in the evening around 6:30 p.m. service was very fast. I order two of the appetizers. They have so many apps to choose from I truly enjoyed the strawberry lemonade. To my surprise the food came out so fast. My server was very nice and friendly. I plan to go back to this location. I was only there because I had a gift card to use. Its a chain restaurant so don’t expect any extra.

We ordered the 2 for $ 20 meal with the dessert. When we asked what was included in the dessert they said ice cream. We said OK. Then the server told us they ran our of ice cream. Then the manager said there was no ice cream either and said they’re was nothing they could do about it. Later during or meal, some one else asked us about how our meal was and we said good but our dessert has no ice cream and we laughed. So server said we can do am adjustment since we have no one cream. She gave us a $ 1.00 credit on bill. $ 1.00! Then we looked at our book and we were charged $ 5.99 for the dessert. We asked and were told dessert was not in the 2 for $ 20. OMG! Neesh keet! Not a customer oriented place to go to. I don’t like Applebee’s and will not be going back anyone soon. No ice cream and it’s on the menu.

Oh where to begin… So my father is from out of town and just wanted to visit his kids here in Baton Rouge and simply wanted to grab a quick burger. That simple task turned into a 2 hour dinner nightmare. Let me start off by saying that I have eaten at other Applebee’s locations that are somewhat decent. But this location is by far the worst place I have eaten at in a very long time. So my father(who is very patient and polite) orders a beer and lets the server know that he’ll be ready for round two fairly soon. Well the server(Ronnie I think is his name) is to busy texting on his phone and flirting with the other waitresses to even walk to the damn bar and take a cap off a bottled beer and bring it to my father which is only about 30 feet away. Our waiter is so smooth with his words but gets pretty much all of our orders messed up and cant even bring out the right lemonade. We wait for well over an hour before my father(who never complains) finally has to say something. The orders start coming out quick(but wrong) after speaking to the manager who ONLY says«I’ll comp the beer for your wait» I was awe struck… Sitting here for over an hour and it was NOT a busy night at all. there were many empty chairs(and for good reason). And the teenage manager only wants to pay for a single $ 3 beer… I was about ready to throw a chair. Ronnie of-course starts blaming the kitchen and pointing fingers until my dad says«the bar is right there.(points) and it took 45 minutes for a refill?» I assure you the food was very poor quality(lower than I expected) with over cooked shrimp and cold burgers with dry cheese… BYTHEWAY we completely forgot about the appetizer we ordered until it came out very last right as we were leaving… This place is hands down a joke ran by clowns. You can expect sub-par service at chain restaurants– but this… this– was off the charts. And a damn McDonald’s burger would’ve been hotter and better than the slop coming out the back kitchen. I think out of 6 orders, our waiter and the«kitchen in training» managed to get 2 of them correct. Obviously we will all NOT be coming back to this location and now I know why the place was half empty on a Friday night… If you like this shitty bar food then go to the Buffalo wild wings across the street. I assure you it cannot be a worst experience.

Strap in folks. This is going to be a long one. I’m not sure if you can leave a zero star review so I’m leaving one star just to be sure my review is factored into the score. Where to begin… first we get seated at a terrible location leaving about 3 feet of walk space between our table and the booth on the other side. If I scoot my chair out a couple of inches, I will surely cause a traffic jam. No biggie though. We are greeted by our server(not professional at all, but I don’t have high expectations for this crappy chain anyway) and he proceeds to take our drink orders(all waters, one pink lemondade, and a beer for my dad). Everything comes out about 12 minutes later, with him apologizing for the wait. Cool, still no biggie. They bring out a lemonade(not a pink lemonade) and our sagging-server says, «oh give that to the other table, she had one.» They bring the correct one out about 5 minutes later. Okay, on to our food order. The menu had zero appealing items, so we all went with burgers. I got mine with no veggies(lettuce, tomato, or pickle) and my girlfriend got hers with everything on it. My brother gets some shrimp dish(these details are important for the terribleness that ensues). Time goes by and goes by and goes by. My dad finally gets his second beer about 30 minutes after asking for it. At this point, it’s been a little over an hour since we placed our order and we’ve yet to receive food. My one-year old has been patient but is now growing restless and has a nasty diaper. Did I mention they aren’t busy ATALL?! Finally after an hour and probably 15 minutes, they bring out one pasta dish that my brother’s friend, who showed up 20 minutes after us, ordered. The server knows it’s going bad, but we’re nice people. I myself have been a server for a long time so I know the ins and outs of the job. About 10 more minutes go by and the rest of us are still waiting. My dad has to go ask what the deal is eventually. I ask our server if he can box me and my girlfriend’s food once it is cooked because we really have to go home and tend to our kid. They eventually bring out my dad’s burger and a burger for my brother, who ordered a shrimp dish, not a burger. Sucks for him as he still has to wait yet another god-knows how long before he gets to eat. They finally bring me and my girl’s boxed food and I give them the benefit of the doubt and don’t check it first. I figure if something is messed up, there’s no way I’m waiting longer for this trash food. The manager comes and unprofessionally apologizes for everything and only offers to pay for the beer. We say our goodbyes, my brother still has no food. Before I leave, another server runs into a booth because of the horrible location of the tables and nearly drops her food dishes and as I’m walking out, another server backs into me and almost knocks me down. Whatever, we’re just glad to be out of that horrible place(first time there by the way, also my last). I haven’t even gotten to the quality of food yet… I do apologize. Me and my girl make it home and behold, our burgers are messed up. Mine has pickles, tomatos, lettuce, etc… My girl who specifically asked for lettuce, onions, and tomatos, has nothing on hers. We got different burgers by the way(mine was a bbq cowboy burger, hers was a mushroom burger). I take off the brown lettuce and pathetic looking tomato and offer it to my girl. She rightfully turns it down. I give her some of my onion strings to try to make her burger taste better and she has to put her own mayo on. The bread is small and tastes like a sponge. You can tell it’s some Bunny bleached buns from walmart. You can tell the burgers are frozen patties, prob from a bag. The bbq sauce had to be Kraft(they even offer Kraft maccaroni for kids, mmm). The fries were hard and cold and looked old. Basically, I almost wanted to just throw all of it away. By far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Will never go back. I can only imagine what happened after I left… Thanks for those that read this.

Our appetizers took 40 minutes but before they brought it out to us they told us they were out of one of them so we choose more wings… they brought them out and they weren’t done ! Still bloody ! I was disgusted… the manager was very nice about it but they are going down hill quick… time to step it up Applebee’s !

Only reason it got to be so late is cause you took so long!

This is a really nice Applebee’s with plenty of light and great service. It is my go to place when I just want to have lunch or a nice dinner which is reasonably priced. I love it.

I thought it was impossible for any location to be worse than the one on Airline Hwy boy was I wrong. The service was so awful I actually thought it was a joke. Order was messed up, food brought to the wrong table, asked for a saucER, the waitress brought salsA and then got an attitude when we corrected her. The frozen drink I ordered was a cup of liquid. It’s a place with a bunch of bumbling idiots walking around. I expected much more from a restaurant in Towne Center but lesson learned.

Try the new Pretzel appetizer! Haven’t been to Applebee’s in a long time after some bad experiences so tried it again to see if things had improved. I must say that I was impressed compared to past visits. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive and the food was fresh and flavorful. I tried the Quesadilla burger and was pleased. I was REALLY pleased that Applebee’s has on their menu now under burgers…“pink” or «no-pink». Normally a chain restaurant means«burnt» or «less burnt». The burger is meat patty with Mexican-ranch sauce with pico de gallo and shredded lettuce served in a Jack and cheddar quesadilla. Structurally the burger was a bit of a challenge as the crispy tortillas did not hold up as well as a bun, but I still managed to eat it all! I’m certainly a fan of this burger. My mother-in-law had the house sirloin and she said it had good flavor and it was cooked to order. My wife ordered the riblet basket and I managed to steal a few and they were tender. The barbecue sauce was sweet initially but then had a good after heat which was nice. If I had a complaint, other than being a Pepsi product company, it would be the fries. While crispy, they were slightly overcooked and extremely overseasoned to the point it almost burned your mouth from the salt and pepper. Hopefully they will continue with the menu changes and courteous staff. And… it seems as if they have fixed the food quality issues, at least at this location.
