I like this library. It’s spacious and everyone is very nice. I have found that sometimes the employees can be loud and if there is a group of people meeting in the main area they are loud. I do have problems focusing so if I come here for testing it can be disturbing. But it is a very nice library in a good location and I usually have no problem hopping on a computer and printing gads for work.

Lovely library! The music and dvd selections are pretty large considering that this is not the library in the world. I did have a little trouble finding paperbacks the first time (left side of library against the wall).

I am a fan of libraries! There is still a place that exists, where you can find a spot in solace to sit, read a book, glance through a magazine or relax in peace. My daughter loves the library! When I first took her to one, she did not know what to do with herself. She was deeply overwhelmed with all the books and kept on asking if she can buy some books not knowing to concept of «borrowing them». Well, now she gets it. The one thing I cannot do in here is drink coffee and eat a snack, but other than that it’s the perfect setting to chill. There are even desks here that give you a bit more privacy — you know the ones with high borders around them. So, I was able to do a project here using poster boards and had plenty of room. Baton Rouge has many awesome libraries, so utilize them! Not everything needs to be drawn from the Internet and television. Pick up a book sometime and take your child here every so often.
