This place is much like the old barbershops my Pappaw took me to when I was a boy. They open at 8am Tuesday — Saturday. I can’t remember when they close Tuesday — Friday, but I think it’s 5pm. They close at 2pm on Saturday. They take cash and checks only, no debit or credit cards. When I went there was a male barber, which I believe is the owner, and a female«barber.» There are four chairs and I learned during my session that there is at least one other female barber working there. The male barber had a guy in the chair, a guy waiting, and another guy came in while I was having my hair cut by the lady. She had no one when I arrived and since I had never been here before it didn’t matter to me who cut my hair. She was polite, but if you don’t hold your head right she’ll grab the top of your head and adjust it as needed. I wasn’t used to that, but I wouldn’t classify it as assault either. I told her how I wanted my hair cut and she went to it. It took about as long as it does any other stylist I’ve been to. I was pleased with my cut, which was a simple haircut, no shampoo. The price is about normal for me anyway. The price I quoted included a two dollar tip. I have used a few places and I wanted to find a place where I didn’t have to explain how I wanted my hair cut every time I went in. I liked this place, but I’m not sure I’ve found what I’m looking for yet.

A nice, small barber shop tucked away in a shopping center. The barber claims to have cut Bo Pelini’s hair(now the head coach of Nebraska’s football team), and is very friendly and talkative. Worth a visit!
