Michaels

Went with my sister this morning to Michael’s in Hammond Aire along with my 9 year old and 3 year old nephew… they never made it inside the doors. I went ahead of them while they we’re getting the 3 year old out of car seat…9 year old got a buggy…3 year old mad because he wanted to get buggy… sister talking the 3 year old down and he stopped crying. all this before the came in the store. Now remember I was already in store. there was a customer and employee standing at the door waiting to see if they were coming in and making comments about my nephew… customer says to employee oh gosh it looks like they are coming in here… sorry…I will call u later… take care here they come… ooh goody.
Yes.I was mad and went outside and told my sister I wasn’t going to shop in that Michael’s and let’s go to Joann’s…we started to walk to the car. she went on I told her I would be right back, went in and asked to speak to the manager and the sales clerk told me the manager was the lady talking at the door about my nephew and sister. I told her what had happened and that we were not shopping here… because of the way they treat customers… the manager needs to be sure of her surroundings before she say’s anything out loud… will be a cold day before I go back in THAT Michael’s!!!

The employees here are very helpful and actually know where you can find anything. They have good sales. I went perusing in there trying to find some crafts for the kids during summer to keep them off the Xbox. Success! They have tons of options. It’s not as big as Hobby Lobby, but if you’re looking for a craft of any sort, I’m sure they can help you. I just never think to go there because it’s kinda far from my house.

Nice selection of goods. However, I wish they could have more cashiers because the lines get long and people have to wait a long time during certain times of the day.
