I’ve eaten at this restaurant only once but will be going back to try more things on the menu! It was a cold night when I went there, so hot noodle soup was tempting my taste buds. I ended up ordering the Bun Cha Gio which is a big bowl of rice vermicelli noodles served cold(unless ordered hot), spring rolls cut in half, served-hot BBQ(grilled marinated) thin-sliced pork, with a simple traditional salad mix of bean sprouts, marinated carrots, & crushed peanuts. It was SO delicious! I would’ve preferred the noodles were hot instead of served cold but I was informed by our very friendly waiter that I could order them hot next time I visit and they would be happy to accommodate. I ordered a side of soup which looked like Phở broth with some green onions. I also tried the Sugarcane Shrimp which were extremely delicious! There were other people around me ordering and eating noodle soup bowls which looked and smelled delicious. All the serving bowls were a very big bowl so you definitely got filled up and did not leave hungry. I noticed another table ordered hot tea that was served in a black iron tea kettle at the table. All in all, I would definitely go back and I want to try more things on the menu. After seeing other pictures on reviews of other Vietnamese restaurants in Baton Rouge, I would say, Saigon Noodles is one of the best if not the top rated one. Definitely give it a try! Delicious food, clean floors, seats, & tables, great atmosphere, TV’s for watching the news while you eat, medium sound level pop music plays on the overhead music, to-go menus, and great friendly knowledgeable service.

I am a frequent«pholyer» here. Lol. This is the best vietnamese restaurant in baton rouge. The phở has great flavor, and it’s always consistent. The spring rolls are delicious as well. The food here always hits the spot. I’ve lived in new orleans and lafayette. This is better than the saigon noodle in lafayette, and is the closest to phở restaurants in new orleans. Highly recommend this place!

Good Vietnamese option in BR. I had the phở tai, and I would’ve liked for the meat to be less cooked by the time it arrived at the table, but maybe next time I’ll just ask for it on the side and put it in myself. Aside from that, everything was swell during our visit. I’ll be back when I’m craving phở while in Baton Rouge.

Service was speedy which was great since we were on a tight schedule. Never had to ask for refills which I love. Phở was on point today! Very flavorful and delicious, also order a Togo plate for my wife and it was done quick!

Really awesome ambiance abs clean tasting Phở broth. What I really like about this spot is the variety of rolls they have and the variet of dishes. The décor is modern for a strip mall setting and the service was much better than the average Vietnamese service. The phở broth was full of flavor even before the extra fixing and the temperature was perfect. The Vietnamese iced coffee was SOSTRONGAND I LOVEDIT lol it was a great sweet contrast to the spicy phở soup. Awesome phở joint in BR.

Very casual authentic environment. Phở was perfect! The menu describes the different dishes if you are not familiar. We also had autumn roll appetizer which was awesome! We are going here for our viet cravings!

Best Vietnamese place for newbies! Colorful, descriptive menu with lots of great cuisine. Recommend trying any of their specialty spring roll appetizers.

I don’t frequent Baton Rouge and cannot compare this place to other Vietnamese or Asian cuisine places in the area but it was definitely delicious, even comparable to places in New Orleans. The service was on the slower side even where there was only one large party that already had their food but worth the wait. I had a wonton broth dish with pork and shrimp and would recommend because it is one of my favorite dishes. The portions are average-to-good for the price but definitely worth it for the flavor. The environment is quite modern with aspects of Asian culture. The employees were fairly young and played EMD music.

Dropped by for dinner tonight and it was money well spent. The place is nicely decorated with some music playing in the background. Their menu is extensive with all the vietnamese classics. I opted for a rice dish with beef short ribs and an egg. My dinner partner went for a noodle dish with grilled beef and shrimp. Both were absolutely delicious. My dish seemed to come with a little side soup. it tasted like phở broth. It was nice and flavorful and a good start to my meal. All in all, I will definitely be back.

«Phở-nomenal hot pot and rice dishes». I was extremely impressed by this place. For the past month, I have been in and out of restaurant to look at the menu and finally got to dine in this past month. For some reason, the many times I have been to this plaza, I just did not remember this restaurant all that well. With an extensive menu of phở and rice dishes, there was never a dull dining moment. The meal was started with the Vietnamese Egg Rolls that were just mediocre. For the price, I wish they would have left a lasting impression. They were not as crispy as I would have wanted them to be and would have liked there to be more than just 2. I ordered a small order of Brisket & Beef Flank Phở, which seemed entirely too large for me already, so it was perfect for splitting. I loved the plate of fresh bean sprouts, basil leaves, cilantro and jalapenos the bowl of phở comes. with. My husband ordered the House Special Beef and Chicken, which I have nothing but the best things to say about the dish. The dish was beautifully prepared plate and had a lot going on with a piece of fried shrimp on a sugar cane stick a fried egg roll, perfectly marinated beef and grilled chicken. I was on cloud nine because everything that happened on this plate was just some of the best in Vietnamese cuisine I have had in a long time. Though I am a fan of phở, I was more excited about the grilled meats and rice dish. I cannot until my next visit, so I can eat this!

My wife ordered the House Special w/Beef and Chicken, and I have to admit it wasn’t half bad. The spring rolls were good too! The food surprisingly tasted fresh. The inside of the restaurant was clean and the customer service was satisfactory. I would come back again, even though I am not a big fan of Vietnamese food.

I’m so, so, so incredibly disappointed in the Vietnamese cuisine in Baton Rouge. I gave it one more shot at a different place and I didn’t like it either. We spent $ 40 here for an appetizer and two entrees. I was not impressed with the food at all. We got the Saigon Wings as the appetizer. 6 wings drenched in this sticky, salty, thick sauce that tasted like fish sauce, sugar, soy sauce, and lemongrass. I tasted every element of those seasonings separately, instead of one melded flavor. I wanted the Banh Mi Bo Kho and that’s what I initially ordered. The waitress came back 5 minutes later to tell me to order something else because they didn’t have Banh Mi(bread). What Vietnamese restaurant runs out of bread before the day ever starts? I came in for lunch at 11.(they open at 1030). So I settled for that day’s special, Bo Luc Lac. Beef cubes and rice. The beef was cooked properly but again, the flavor was off. I wish I had some pickled veggies, but I only got a few cucumbers. My boyfriend got the Saigon house special, the rice dish with the meat, sugarcane shrimp stick, tiny quiche sized egg cake, an overeasy egg, veggies, rice, and fish sauce. The fish sauce is very bland, it tasted like lemon water. The egg cake was delicious but smaller than what I would have hoped. The meat wasn’t flavorful. My boyfriend didn’t mind at all that I was eating his food. He didn’t even finish his dish… and he typically always finishes everything. I got charged $ 2.50 for my diet coke and she only gave me one refill. My cup was empty for about 10 minutes… If I get charged close to $ 3 for a soda I’d like to have quick refills at least. I wouldn’t choose to eat Vietnamese food in Baton Rouge again. I’d honestly stick to any other viet place in New Orleans. For those of you with no other choice, I feel bad for you.

I believe this is the best phở in Baton Rouge. Not to mention Saigon Market is so close and bubble tea right next door. I always get the M45 — comes with egg noodles, dumplings, shrimp, and BBQ pork. I know, everyone says Dang’s is the best, but I don’t see how it can get any better than here. Prices are great and the staff is cool. This is the place for PHO in BR!!! Little secret: When you order PHO ask for a side of shrimp paste and spicey chili sauce but just a WARNING don’t be heavy handed when adding.

So Phở-Reaking Good!!! In case u didn’t know, «Phở» is basically a very tasty /well seasoned Vietnamese soup w thin noodles and ur choice of meats. Furthermore, «Phở» is pronounced«Fuh». as in «Fun» or «Fuhgettaboutit» or shut the«Fuh-Ront Door».(Please don’t ever pronounce it «Foe» … U will get made fun of. Just sayin.) Anyways. The main reason I started coming here is bc all my freakin phở-lovin friends come here! Now, I can’t compare this place to any other Vietnamese restaurant that serves phở, bc I haven’t been to any other besides Saigon Noodle. BUT, I do know what Good quality food tastes like, and the Phở at Saigon Noodle is exactly that: Good Quality Food! Today is my 3rd time coming here and the phở has been consistently good every single time(I Always order the House Special Phở). Again, I’m not the phở expert by any means but every time I’ve ordered it, It’s not overly salty and definitely not bland. It’s just great tasting, well seasoned, exactly what u need on a cold windy day, phở! (Now, There are many other tasty appetizers and entrees on the menu that my friends have ordered, but the main thing I come here for is the Phở.) The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. And although it’s not the biggest restaurant, Every time I’ve been, it’s never been overly crowded. The service is great! The waiters are extremely nice and attentive to customers. Also, the restaurant is conveniently located right next to Paradise Smoothies where they serve some awesome fruit blended smoothies and ice cream to get ur dessert fix on! The only reason im giving Saigon Noodle 4 stars is bc I haven’t had anyone else’s phở to compare this place to. This place is great! Please Check them out if you haven’t been!

My favorite Phở in Baton Rouge! Love love love this place. Maybe my favorite Phở ever but I love all Phở. They used to do a happy hour lunch special from 2 – 4 but not sure if they still do. Always friendly, I love the house special. Good stuff!

In my opinion this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Baton Rouge! Cool décor. The staff is so friendly. Wish they weren’t so far out from the center of the city. Been here several times. The wings are so good!

Saigon Noodles is one of the nicest Vietnamese places in Baton Rouge. If I was bringing someone to try Vietnamese for the first time, this is probably where I would consider bringing them first. There is very little to differentiate Saigon Noodles from any other Vietnamese restaurant around Florida Blvd. The biggest compliment I can bestow is that it appears to be the cleanest and has the nicest atmosphere. Their phở is as good as any of the other Vietnamese restaurants.
