Went for the first time today and had an awesome experience. Very quick + friendly service! Not only that but I’m super happy with how my brows look! :)

SO NICE!!! The lady was so nice! It was my first time getting threaded and I was so nervous. I have always gotten my eyebrows and upper lip waxed. I’m half Persian and very very dark haired. I just recently waxed my side burns and it HURT LIKE HELL! So I figured I’d try out threading. I read reviews on it and I read reviews on this place and they had good ones. Plus I’m a student and I got 20% off!!! So it did hurt like hell not gonna lie. She did say I would get used to it. Of course that’s a given its my first time and my side burns were long so of course. But WOW! There’s no trace of even a line of upper lip hair on my face man SO EXCITED! Having dark hair sucks. Even though this hurts it’s worth it and just like getting waxed I’m sure my skin will get used to it. It doesn’t have a trace of hair! And they were SOOOO nice!

I got my eyebrows threaded. There is a 20% discount for students! So so nice :)
I got in and got out. The service itself was speedy (great for threading) and thorough. Get exactly what I wanted. Very satisfied and will be back.

Walk-​ins… Fast service… Very nice & polite ppl… They do not rush the service… I went in to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time… When done I was sooo happy! Great service! This lady was getting her eyebrows dyed & says she always go there. I will be going back! They also sell hair products, jewelry & etc. prices were reasonable.

I discovered eyebrow threading in Houston and I absolutely love It. Since we had to move back to BR I was SO, SO scared I was not going to find a eyebrow threading place as good or as cheap as the one in Houston… I didn’t know what to do. Thank God, I found this place!!! They do an excellent job. They’re super quick, which is great. $ 18.00 for eyebrows and lip threading.

I’ve had the WORST experiences at this Salon… TWICE!
Misbah’s daughter threaded my eyebrows and it was terrible. She missed tons of longer hairs, took out others that shouldn’t have been removed, RIPPED MY SKIN in multiple places. I had scabs all over my eyebrows because of her. It was horrible. The entire service was horrible. And I’ve had my eyebrows threaded a million times before at other salons.
DO NOT GET A GEL manicure here! It took 2 hours and I walked out of there with the worst nail job ever. One nail wasn’t even finished because I couldn’t handle here doing it for the 4^th time because she messed up the first 3 times! They’re tools are VERY DIRTY! Their gel polish is terrible quality.
I wanted to like this salon but they truly suck.

Walked in and was instantly able to get my eyebrows threaded! The entire staff was so sweet. The young lady that threaded my eyebrows was able to keep me calm and comfortable since it was my first time! It was very inexpensive as well; only paid 12 dollars. Definitely recommend this place.

I get the most compliments on my threaded eyebrows! Awesome & very knowledgable staff.

Baton Rouge has quite a few threading salons, but they’re either too pricey, too crowded all the time or I just hate the way they shape my brows. Misbah does a good job of shaping my brows and not making me feel rushed. But then I usually go during weekdays. I’ve heard sometimes Sunday evenings can have long wait times. Today I got my eyebrows shaped, and also got a 15-​minute mini facial done. It involved scrubbing with a pleasant-​smelling exfoliating cream, a gentle massage, blackheads extraction and then some more massaging. For $ 20 it was pretty good. Oh, students get a 10 percent discount on threading!

Awesome service!!! I recommend a custom facial (appointment is needed for facials) all natural products are used for the facial. Threading service is also great no appointment is needed.

just to post a review about this salon. Salon Misbah is THE ONLY place in Baton Rouge for threading. After a lot of research, driving by, wishing, and hoping, I finally made an appointment. I arrived and the salon was not open (11:30, scheduled to open at 10 AM), so I called the number provided. I was told they were right around the corner. Initially, this kind of annoyed me, but then I met the owners and they were SO nice and kind. A young girl was with them. Turns out the young girl apparently is in training for threading. The woman (one of the owners) who did my eyebrows was really excited for me since it was my first time. She showed me the first brow after she finished it, and it was AMAZING as was the finished product. She was great, the salon was great. I’m totally going back and telling all of my friends. I’ll never put wax on my face again!
For those who have never had threading done or are skeptical about it, yes it does hurt, no it doesn’t hurt as much as waxing, yes it is sanitary, and yes you look fabulous afterwards! The price is 12 dollars USD for eyebrows, I believe 8 dollars for upper lip. I have not had it done on my upper lip, but trust me, I will be going back.
The salon also offers henna tattoos and other hair and body services. They prefer for you to make an appointment.
