Stopped in as I was driving from Texas to Florida for breakfast. Place is crowded and very popular with the locals. While the food tasted OK, the place was filthy. I could not finish my meal for looking at the floor and the unsanitary conditions by the counter. Egg shells on the floor, debris on the counter. Sing like everyone there was coughing without covering their mouth. Tried to find a health inspection score, but that was posted that I can see. Ended up not finishing my meal. I do not know what the health standards are in Louisiana, but this was quite disgusting.

The customer service in this location is appalling. We walked into the building and was not greeted or even aknowledged for over 10mins. We sat at a filthy table that looked like it had not been cleaned all night. When we finally requested service, we were looked at and treated like we were askiing for them to go out of their way and do something out of their job requirements. This was sad. No customer should be treated that way.

This place really has 4& ½ stars? This place sucks! The service is atrocious. The food is awful. Our server, Deanna, gave a blank stare when asked any question. Seriously, a complete blank stare. She was slower than a one legged dog on tranquilizers. The food came out in «phases»; first waffles, then meat, then toast and then hash browns. The eggs were cold. The hash browns were sitting in a puddle of old grease, which is all you could taste. Of course my coffee cup was empty before any food arrived and wasn’t refilled until I was finished eating. As for the atmosphere, you’ll need a shower after you visit. This place is the true meaning of greasy spoon. Everything is either sticky or greasy. I wasn’t about to attempt to use the rest room here so I walked next door. My shoes were sliding on the concrete from the grease they picked up from the floor. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place is not worth your time.

Busy Friday night! Lots of people so I don’t expect the fastest customer service but it was actually pretty good. Had to flag down a waitress for a to go order because there were only 3 employees and they all seem frazzled due to all the customers. Waited for 15 minutes so pretty fast service for my big order of 2 cheese steak Omelets, 1 T-Bone steak, 2 waffles and 4 sides. When I got home, my order was correct and food was delicious. Best Waffle House in Baton Rouge in my opinion. Clean interior and friendly employees.

It’s Waffle House so you know what to expect in terms of food quality. This particular House was clean and I got my food in a fairly timely manner. Took about 30 minutes but it was busy that day. All in all I would recommend eating at this one.

I originally posted a two star review for this location stating that the food was good but the restaurant was so dirty I couldn’t eat there, but I just realized that I posted it under the wrong location! This particular location of Waffle House is much better than most. It is the cleanest Waffle House I’ve ever been to. Service is fast and friendly, and food is good.

It’s nearly impossible for me not to enjoy Waffle House as this location(like the rest) is full of great service, cheap prices, and awesome food. This one seems a tad smaller than some of the other locations but still has the same gritty décor with small booths, long counter, and so-so bathrooms. This spot is a great destination for late night eats after seeing a movie as its right next to the Rave Theater in NE Baton Rouge. It can get fairly busy on a Friday /Saturday night and is a good spot to kill time when the traffic gets too jammed from the mall /theater. Go for the hashbrowns … they’re the best, day and night.
