Solid Chinese food — plus incredibly fast and friendly service! Casino Royale was playing on the restaurant TV and naturally our party of 4 twenty-​something dudes craned our necks to watch. Our server noticed this and turned up the volume for us without us asking :) The combo platter (choice of entrée + fried rice/​egg roll) is a huge value to go along with a huge portion. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something fast and filling in the Battle Creek area.

We are from the Chicagoland area and saw all the negative reviews. We waited in the lot and watched several people get carryout. On another site, it got good reviews. We decided to give them a shot. Ok, the décor was like a hot dog/​burger/​gyros joint, but the prices seemed very reasonable. We ordered orange chicken and sweet & sour pork. Both were very good. We would recommend New Moon and advise others to ignore the bad comments. Btw, the place was not dirty, just bland.

This is delicious Americanized Chinese food. I’ve ordered delivery a few times and it can take 45 minutes on average. It’s worth the wait. The minimum amount for delivery is $ 15.

Ordered dinner there as a walk in, the lady who took my order has no business working there or the counter she’s clueless and no ppl skills. Food is very very over priced. The food was good. The lady was bitching cause it was a slow day and delivers were not making her money as in tips or however she gets paid. This used to be an awesome place to get take out on all levels now I wouldn’t and won’t be back at all for many reasons, I think ownership has changed many times and that’s why this place as gone down the tubes.

I am not one to trash restaurants, but this was the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten in my life. I am new to the area and was happy to find a Chinese restaurant that delivers. The prices and serving sizes were reasonable, but the food was inedible. I ordered the Orange Chicken combination with Pork Fried Rice and Fried Wontons by delivery. These are fairly simple selections that I have had success with for years with delivery in a number of cities. The wontons were not only grease logged, but the filling (supposedly pork) was something I had never tasted before or even seen before. The Orange Chicken had an awful taste as well. Even the fried rice tasted weird. I threw the entire meal in the trash. Well, I did enjoy the fortune cookies. I don’t know if they had a bad night or what, but it was an utter disaster.

This place had great food, my orange chicken was a little over done but everything else was great! We didn’t eat there, we picked up our food, the inside looked sketchy but honestly the food was good!

My wife and I both visited the New China Moon Restaurant last week. We walked in 30 minutes after they opened and the place just seemed dirty. I would have thought that it should be clean after just opening.
My wife and I each had Szechuan, and had them substitute the chicken for Tofu. The food was good, but it felt like we were eating at an old truck stop that needs cleaning. I have had take-​out food here before, but never paid much attention inside the place.
Overall I can’t give a very good review if they can’t keep the place clean. We only ended up here because the Hong Kong restaurant had no tofu.

Good Chinese food: large portions, reasonable prices, delivery & take-​out.
There was friendly service. If you like spicy food get szechuan shrimp or pepper steak & onion. Tofu vegetable soup was good too (add shrimp if you like it).
