Extremely salty and I had to ask for my chicken to be put back on the grill, because it was under done. Won’t be back. We had chicken fajitas and chicken sopitos (my masa cake was very stale)

A standard Mexican restaurant where you can expect the same quality as most places. You get free chips & salsa as you sit down. Food is pretty good and taste of authentic Mexican cuisine. This restaurant has been family owned for many years. Burritos, enchiladas, and carne are all delicious and filling. Service is good and efficient. The exterior and interior may not look like much but do not deter because of that.
The margaritas are awesome and compliments any meal. Don’t be afraid to ask for more chip & salsa when you finish. The portions are nice and you can always expect great food from this place.

The food wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great either, sort of bland. They were remarkably stingy with the chips bringing not even one full basket for our table of 7, and asking for more was met with extreme reluctance. Most of the staff was friendly but the hostess seemed irritated to be there and she is master of the chips.

My family has gone here for years. We have many birthday photo’s on the walls! The salsa is the absolute best, I could eat a gallon of it. It’s amazing! The food has been kind of inconsistent lately, it wasn’t great a few times in a row. But the last two or three times it really improved, customer service on the other hand has been very slow. The man who works there is very nice, quick to help you. One of the woman almost doesn’t realize your even there. Takes 15 min to ask you if your ready to order.

Only had salsa to sample because I heard it was best in town. The guy had no problem giving me a sample to go and boy was it ever good!!! Very nice customer service in there and definitely the best salsa in battleground

Stopped here on our way back from a day of exploring. Absolutely fantastic! Great food, service, and prices. The Chimichanga was out of control. I would definitely return to this spot.

Staff was friendly and handled my to-​go order quickly. Lots of seating and staff keeps the restaurant clean. Fajitas are amazing, lots of flavor and freshness. The salsa that came with the side of chips was excellent. My new go-​to for Mexican goodness.

The service was slow and inattentive; they were understaffed for the dinner rush. The Long Island ice tea was mostly cola and the daiquiri was syrupy sweet; hardly any spirits could be tasted. They were the worst drinks I’ve had at a restaurant. The food was as generic as can be expected from a mediocre Mexican restaurant. The ambience was terrible; the lighting was oddly fluorescent and bright and the décor was cheap.

We’ve never had a bad meal here. I have no complaints. Service is always prompt and friendly. Food is prepared lightning fast. Some reviewers seem to take issue with the fact that some food is precooked… What’s wrong with that? Find a Mexican place that doesn’t have their rice, beans, and most common meats precooked? I suppose if it wasn’t precooked, you’d complain about slow service…
Prices are very reasonable. I always order the Enchiladas de Camaron… Like ALWAYS. It’s sooo good.

It’s never a good sign when you walk in at noon and only one table is occupied. I’ll give them 2 stars because the staff were very friendly and prompt. The food is an utter letdown. Chips and salsa to start were bland and ordinary. As someone else noted it’s pretty much made in advance and assembled when you order. My enchiladas came to me on hot plate with melted cheese, but the interior was cold (as below room temperature as if it had been in the freezer when I placed the order). The suiza sauce was weakly seasoned, and the meal in general lacked freshness.
The meal was fast food quality at sitdown prices. My search for good Mexican food in Battle Ground will continue.

Service is usually really good. Not a fan of the food being precooked already. We ordered our food and it came out minutes later. The chicken tasted like it was cooked hours prior and not fresh. :-(

Food was alright but I could of got the same thing at Jim boys tacos for much cheaper. The waitress didn’t care about us at all. She said she would bring us more chips and never did. I ordered a steak taco and got chicken. They didn’t bring our check we had to walk up to the counter. Oh and we were the only ones there. The manager was nice but didn’t do anything to fix the poor service

I really like this place. The kids menu is great and AFFORDABLE! The lunch menu too, what a great value. And the customer service is wonderful. The salsa fresh and delicious. We love this restaurant!

Hadn’t been here in a while even though its just down the street. Was never disappointed in their service or food in the past but it appears they have changed from good to darn near excellent!
My wife loves their ceviche, which is still tops on her list. I had the Tres Amigos platter that was not only generously plentiful but very tasty.
Service was excellent as well. I usually judge service by how full an establishment keeps my water glass full, and they did not fall flat on this requirement (in the past, service was so-​so on this). All this and they were busy on a Saturday night as well.
We will be back…

Delicious and authentic food, excellent service, and the best salsa. This family has been in Battle Ground for over 15 years, and is very family-​friendly. If you want a really awesome lunch special, arrive before 3 PM. Oh, and they have the best deep-​fried icecream, too. I am craving it now as we speak.

Anytime I have the luxury of being in the greater Southern Washington area I make it a priority to enjoy at least one fine meal at Las Mesitas Mexican Restaurant. They have outstanding food — my top two choices on the menu would be the Enchiladas a la crema or a simple Bean & Cheese Burritto.
Chips and Salsa are solid. Service is sufficient.
Can’t wait until the next time I’m in the area. Hopefully it doesn’t rain!
