Thanks to Iris L. I tried the guava raspado and OMG it was ineffably DIVINE! I can’t even say what’s in it. It’s not just guava. There’s a sort of a subtle cinnamony spiciness to it, but it’s not just cinnamon. I can’t say what it is. Hence the ineffability :-) The bionicos are the best thing ever on a hot day. The guava raspado is the best thing ever on a blistering day. My car thinks it’s 104 outside.

I will never come here again! I called in and placed an order and was told 10 – 15 mins I got there within 10 mins and paid for my food($ 24) I was told it wasn’t ready so I waited and waited and waiteddddd 40 mins later I obviously had a sour look on my face I mean being 7 months pregnant and starving didn’t help the situation! Anyways eventually they take my receipt and say oh… They walk to the food line and pick up a bag that has been sitting there the whole time!!! And of course it’s mine. I grab my bag and the $ 3.00 guacamole I paid for wasn’t there! So I ask for it and they bring me a tiny salsa cup of it!!! I almost lost it by this point so I go out to my car telling my fiancé who’s been waiting for me. An he’s NOT happy so HE goes back in MAD! Asking why we paid $ 3.00 for a tiny portion. So we get the guacamole we paid for and go home.(We live literally down the street 2mins away) and yayyyy our food Is cold and the meat is 80% fat! What a waste of time and money. Here we go to another restaurant for food! NEVERAGAIN!

They have a lot to choose from breakfast lunch or dinner and even snacks like mangoniadas fruits and jello the service was good as well the only thing i had a problem with was my order they were short on ingrediants and were not able to make my order how it shouldve been done. Overall good spot great to hangout have a beer.

Best thing about this small town is the Bionicos from this place and nachos. Everytime I’m over here I come to dulces antojitos

I like the food but the last time I was here the place was packed and it took me nearly 45 minutes to get a burrito, a couple tacos, and a quesadilla. Worst yet people who ordered after me we’re getting their food before me and the common theme among them was that they were all Latino and I happen to be white. I didn’t think much of it at the time but then I started to remember a sort of impatience that the girl who took my order had with me. I hope I’m overthinking all this cause as I said, I think the food here is pretty good. Has anyone else had this experience? I hope I’m wrong, I love supporting local businesses.

Was driving through and looking for a Jamba Juice off the freeway, and found this in the Safeway Shopping center. Well price fresh juices and smoothies, and the fish tacos are really good, too!

Good quality food. Service is a little slow, but they have a great variety of authentic items on their menu.

Super delicious food. Authentic Mexican food. And you can’t go wrong with taco Tuesday. I Alaina get something different and I am never unhappy. This is the best place for tacos in Pittsburg. Hands down.

Honestly, after moving to Pittsburg I only come to this place because of the convenience of its location. I’ve tried the enchiladas, the nachos with hella stuff, tacos, burritos, and the torta cubana I also tried the mangonada. It wasn’t the BEST Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life and I’d rather drive back to Oakley to get La Costa if I could or try a new place in Concord. When I had the enchiladas they were hella dry, the tacos were too, and the torta cubana was too much for me it was nasty I’m sorry but I feel like the meat they put in there was sitting out for hella long and remicrowaved and thrown all together. Their nachos are hella blah too even with all the toppings. I am giving this place 3 stars because of the deals they offer for example: the drinks offered if you check in and the cheap tacos on Tuesdays. BUT I also think it’s inconvenient that even if you order over the phone you have to wait in the long line anyway which kind of seems pointless for calling in. AND their«spicy» isn’t all that spicy to me either so I had to take the other 2 stars. #JUSTSAYIN’ PSTHEBESTMANGONADAIVEEVERHAD was by Fruitvale Bart station… I still have to figure out what the place is called!

I love hole in the wall places and this place hands down, just became our favorite Taco Tuesday joint. Clean establishment, friendly atmosphere and the ladies behind the counter don’t speak English too well, which is kinda of sign for authentic cuisine ahead! $ 1 taco tuesdays for the classics, you know al pastor, Pollo, Carne Asada, and chorizo. We ordered the Carne Asada(5⁄5) and the chorizo(5⁄5). Both tacos were well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and came with a heap load of radishes and limes in the box. The guacamole salsa was tasty. Really smooth and creamy. And the house salsa had just the amount of kick and smokiness to compliment the tacos perfectly. The real show stopper had to be the Elotes Entero, which are as yummy as you can get them. Smothered in the Mexican mayo, cheese and chili, it really couldn’t get any better. My only sour note was my mangonada(3⁄5). I’m picky when it comes to these things and all I want is some uniformity when it comes to these magical unicorns of the Mexican food world. The way that Dulce makes theirs is they take some mango sherbet and blend with a bunch of ripe mango and then pour the red syrupy elixir of sourness(chamoy sauce) and chili on top. So yea, you have to mix the mango goodness with the tart sourness goodness to get a real good bite of it. I wish it had layers to better distribute the flavors. Because if you just eat the chamoy sauce on top, your face is gunna contort in so many different facial angles lol. Other than that, we throughly enjoyed our visit. And will definitely be back for the tacos and Elotes.

Call in your order because the wait can be long but the food is yummy. The carne asada is delicious and so is the chicken. I haven’t had anything here that I didn’t like. It’s all good, from the nachos to the burritos. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I love to take my nieces here for a treat when I visit the area. It is a gem. I am 100% Mexicana so I have knowledge on good and bad Mexican food. I must say the treats here are amazing and the staff is pretty nice. Their raspados are fantastic. Especially the Guayaba one. Wow wow wow . Their Juice service is great. I enjoyed a delicious carrot juice that my body thanked me for. I got tostilocos for the first time after my niece ordered it and I really enjoyed it. We split it between 3 people and it was plentiful. As a snack not a meal of course. I haven’t tried much of their dinner food but I did have a torta before that was delicious. Reasonable prices too. For 20 bucks I treated us to drinks and snacks and it’s always a good little place for my auntie and nieces bonding time. The place gets busy and there’s a tv on Univision that a person that loves to watch tv(me) can enjoy. Try it, it’s awesome.

I came here based on the reviews but I was very disappointed tacos were over 2 dollars and the tortilla was hard very little meat and so much fat I had to remove. Don’t have the tacos here! My brother ordered the super nachos and said the meat was too chewy and looked half way cooked. We left our food there and left wit our deserts we ordered. only good thing there…

I believe it’s a goal of mine to experience and then review each and every shop here in this area. First I need to cross of all the restaurant. After already trying the other Mexican restaurant in this complex the other day, I made my way towards this one to see what the deal was. Why? Because this one has higher reviews and this one always seems busier. Parking is never an issue. The parking lot is huge. I mean, of course you’d want to pick a spot closer to the restaurant but there’s nothing wrong with have a mini-walk to it. It’s such a nice restaurant. It’s bright inside. Kind of brightens ones mood to see such a nice interior and having the knowledge that you’re about to eat some good food. There’s a bunch of seating. Tables of four mostly. To order, you go up to the register. I didn’t have to wait at all and a person was there to attend to me. WHAT A LOVELYWOMAN she was. She had a smile on her face. She read the menu to me and recommended me stuff. After debating between the nachos and tacos, I decided to go for three regular steak tacos. This cost me about six dollars. They give you a number after ordering. I made my way to a seat and waited. Two minutes in: number 38. Four minutes in: number 39. Five minutes in: number 40. Six minutes in: number 42. WAIT where’s mine? Seven minutes in: number 41. Yay! I went home, opened up my hot package, peered inside to see the styrofoam container with a couple of napkins, two small containers of a dark red salsa and a green salsa. Okay, I didn’t like the salsas. They were too sour. I didn’t bother with them. I only used one of the three limes they gave me on my three tacos. The tacos had two flour tortillas which was very helpful. I didn’t want my taco to break and turn into a different kind of dish! There was steak, onions, and cilantro in the tacos. A wonderful combination! Now these aren’t the best tacos I have had. The best I’ve had were from Mexico, but these were pretty good. What I do ask for next time is that this would be a bit juicer and not as dry. Good stuff! Check it out for pretty good food at a cheap price.

Two words. TACOTUESDAY! While everything i have had here is great, the selling point is definitely $ 1 taco tuesday. The fruit drinks and other unique dishes are on my list to try, but with great quality meats the tacos are hard to shy away from.

The food deserves 5 stars. The service, however, not even one star. I’ve learned early on to call in the order and go pick it up. They do it faster and it’s usually ready when you get there. But don’t add anything to your order. I made that mistake and asked for a veggie juice. I watched them make it and throw it in the fridge. When I asked her for it she said the order says«to go!» Like its my fault they can’t keep their orders together. Attitude problems all the way. They’re lucky the food is good, service sucks and is only getting worse with time.

This place is exactly what I have been looking for since I moved to Pittsburg. I’m used to the Mexican men in my neighborhood pushing their carts around. If you don’t know what I mean, let me paint a picture for you. An ice cream looking cart with a rainbow umbrella, with igloos filled with corn or ice to make shaved snow cones for the kids. Now a days, mangonadas are the new thing. They also sell pinwheel chips that’s drizzled with Valentina sauce and lime juice. Are you picturing it?! This place has it all. Everything that I want and need in my life. They have corn on the cob, or in the cup if you prefer a cleaner style of eating. They also serve fruit cups, and their mangonadas is called a chamoyada, which is ten times better than the regular one. This one has tamrind bits in there. I’m in heaven. Then on top of that, they sell the pinwheel chips for $ 2.00! Totally reasonable. Tacos, nachos, burritos, you name it and they have it! You gotta check this place out for yourself. This place will not disappoint. It’s clean, and not old looking like most taquerias.

I finally tried the food and things didn’t work out well. I have to say that this an issue I run into at a lot of places, but this is the worse due to the disregard of the word vegetarian. If you have vegetarian on your menu you should hold true to that. I order what was to be a vegetarian burrito, but if the beans are cooked in pork oil it is no longer vegetarian. It doesn’t sound bad to those that don’t know, but its a form of food poisoning. I still love the fresh fruit juice and the treats, but the foods not for me
