2015 shows a vast improvement over 2014. Not sure whether they changed hands (there was a for sale sign over the winter), but they’re heading in the right direction. We were so disappointed in 2014, but this year has us singing a new tune. We had a foot long coney (better value for the price than a regular coney, only .89 more but double the dog), homemade onion rings, cheeseburger, homemade mushrooms. Really good. ALWAYS GET THE HOMEMADE SIDES. Really glad this place has come back around. Used to get bigger portions for the price, but that seems to be the trend now.

This drive-​in is indeed open (in Bay Port, not the Caseville location, although that one is also open). We stopped yesterday on the way out of town after a camping trip. Ordered cheeseburgers, fried pickles and onion rings to share and a chocolate malt. Complete deep-​fried deliciousness. Everything was hot and fresh and the portions were generous. We couldn’t finish the pickles or onion rings, even though we really wanted to. The batter was fantastic! If we are in the thumb again, we will certainly be paying a visit to Lefty’s! (Cash only btw)
