Michaels

I am rating this store because the past couple of times I have been here the customer service has been terrible! I was just in the store at around 8pm tonight, All of the employees were busy refacing the shelves and putting the throw back items back, I get it and I know it is part of the job… but it doesn’t EXEMPT you from helping customers. I was also ran into TWICE by employees tonight! Once with a shopping cart to my rear (I’m not a big person, only 125lbs) and then another employee came out of an isle and whacked me in the arm with a hand basket! At least she apologized, the other one just kept on going! The store is also very unorganized, all of the ribbon and bridal items are NOT where the above signs are hanging at all, among other things misplaced. At the counter upon checking out I always make it a point to say «Thank you» and «Have a good night/​day» (I have been behind a register before and know how it is), the staff does not even acknowledge that I’ve said anything (different employees on several occasions). I used to drive to this Michael’s when I lived in Lindenhurst because It was great… but it has gone down hill. Too bad I live right down the street from here now and will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Great prices on art supplies, but sometimes can be difficult to find things, which the staff isn’t too helpful with.
