TGI Fridays

Came here for lunch today. Food was perfect. Server was right on top of everything. I have no complaints. I come here when I am in the area. Never had any complaints.

Worst service I have ever received. Walked in the restaurant at 7pm, was greeted at 7:10 and by 7:35 our appetizer was still not at our table and our server had never come back to take our order or check on us. There were only six tables sat in the restaurant and three servers and a host on duty. Terrible management and over all experience.

Walked in on a Wednesday night. Pretty empty, waited at hostess stand for 10 minutes… No one e ever showed up so we just left and went to the Cheesecake Factory next door. Service should be A+ with so many restaurants around you.

We were there for dinner tonight!
It was not a good experience the server was the only good part of the night. Sanitation was subpar food was hard and crunchy it took ten minutes for someone to come out and seat us the place was empty and the men’s room was disgusting it is sad I have been eating there since it opened and over the last 8 months it went down hill. This will be the last time I eat in this Friday’s for a while maybe it will turn around

HORRIBLE! How is it possible to mess up chicken fingers and fries?!? My plate was literally hotter than my food. Asked for a new order and I should have known it would be just as cold, if not colder, when the waitress came back in 3 minutes with my plate. Ridiculous. By the way, my friends have left me at the table and went to the bar as we haven’t seen said waitress in about 15 minutes. I remember why I stopped coming here. It’s not even that busy on a friday! Tell tale sign right there hugh.

They have an «all day every day menu» that they refused to honor on Friday night. The mayo they served had a huge lump of old mayo on top. My husband ordered a coors light they brought him a water with lemon. What a waste of $ 36

WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD!!!
Went there a few weeks ago with my mom and my son and nephew. The food was decent but I gave my bank card (debit) to pay and went home. 4 days later I got a call that there was $ 12,000 taken from my account. I STILL HAD MY CARD!!! Obviously someone scanned my card when I gave it to the girl to pay for the dinner. Will NEVER use a card there again. BTW my bank reimbursed me but it was a very stressful 6 weeks

We had the worst experience at this Friday’s last night… My daughter and I sometimes go to Friday’s if we want a fast dinner after shopping. And we usually find it fair. But last night was a nightmare. We waited at least 45 minutes for our food the food was dry and cold the drinks were watered down the waitress was slow as a snail. She was running around not getting it done. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Really slow service. Waited almost 15 minutes before our beers came to the table. Ordered a burger asked for no onions the onions were on the burger. And overly priced.

Came here for lunch. I did that whole build your own burger thing and the toppings were decent portions. Service was friendly although forgetful and didn’t ask if we wanted refills.

So I came here on a Thursday night with my boyfriend. We only ordered some «munchies» food basically. Our waiter was some African American guy don’t think he said his name. Anyways, he took our orders and it took a while for our food. And we only got appetizers. We also needed silverware and we had to take some off the other table because he was no where to be found. When he did come around it was very brief as though he breezed by each time making no eye contact and just swiping by and checked on us once in a blue. I guess good thing we didn’t need much from him anyways. The food was very good and hot I must say just slow in receiving it. It better had been for that wait and the crumby server. I like to be treated with some good hospitality when I go to restaurants. Makes you think maybe they should replace those servers with the electronic devices to order and pay. Overall it was alright, just could’ve been much better and quicker service.

Made the mistake of going back here a year after a not so great visit. It’s even worse. Horrible service! No customer service. Restaurant was empty and staff standing around. No one greeting customers as they came in. Wait staff pass by tables and don’t acknowledge customers Laziest staff I have ever seen in an Friday’s location. Instead of standing around chatting try cleaning up the place. Our waitress spent most of the time sitting in a booth talking to her coworkers. We watched as people either complained or walked out. Where are the managers??? after last visit a year ago that wasn’t great it’s worse! Horrible service! No customer service. Restaurant was empty and staff standing around. The service was terrible. Took 30 minutes to get a drink from the bar, minus straws. When we asked for straws, it seemed it was a bother for someone to bring them over. We ordered an appetizer which took just as long to get and when we received it the food was cold and we had to wait ten minutes for utensils. The bartenders were rude and when we complained we were told that there would be no charge for the food, yet we were charged on our card. As we were leaving the waiter and manager were looking at us and laughing. It is a very unprofessional place. The only reason they even get a single star was the hostess. She was the only one that even cared and acted in a professional manner.

I would suggest going to the one in Islandia or central Islip, service is much better!

The one star given is solely because of our great server. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name, but she worked in the bar area and was very attentive and sweet.
However, the general state of cleanliness of the restaurant was deplorable. As an example, immediately after we placed drink orders, my mother went to the ladies’ room where she discovered one stall with a backed up toilet and the other with the toilet seat broken off and laying on the floor surrounded by parts. She of course notified our server about the issue as soon as possible assuming she would notify management. To my disappointment, when I visited the restroom about an hour later I found the toilet seat strewn on the floor just as my mom had described. We also noted the bar was in complete disarray with empty plates and glasses and no customers from when we arrived until we left.
Overall, I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt but it is clear that quality management is lacking at this location, if management was present during our visit at all, which at this point even seems questionable.

Our waitress was a sweetheart. She brought my son a piece of cake for his bday (she got a good tip). We sat down (with 3 kids). No one ever came to the table, we had to ask for service. No kids menu. NBD. My son orders his meal they tell us they ran out of sauce, so he has to order something else. The soup bowl is only half full. There was no soap or paper towels in the bathroom, I told the manager. I stood outside the bathroom, no one ever brought soap. My waitress was nice enough to bring a wipe. The food took forever to come out.

Went there for dinner tonight, wasn’t crowded — only a handful of other diners. Quite a number of in-​uniform TGI Fridays employees were hanging out at a long table in the bar area on various electronic devices. We waited twenty minutes for a waiter to come over and greet us and get drink orders. We went to order an appetizer or potstickers, they were out, we asked for dumplings, they were out. We settled on Memphis bbq wings which were good, we asked for extra ranch — it never came. It took ten minutes to get a water refill.
I ordered the Jack Daniels sirloin and rib combo with sweet potato fries and tomato and mozzarella salad for dinner. The fries were cold, so was the steak and ribs, the tomatoes were old and soft, if you poked it with a fork they pitted and stayed that way. The waiter took the food away, and waited thirty minutes for a warmer steak (still not hot), and no ribs. The waiter put in an order for the ribs, those took another twenty minutes.
My fiancé ordered chicken fingers and Parmesan fries, his meal came out 5 minutes after mine did. His chicken fingers were at least hot.
The waiter asked if we wanted drink refills we said yes, we never got them. He sent the manager over to talk to us who took off the sirloin and ribs but charged $ 6 for the sides that went untouched. The manager just kept repeating over and over that the kitchen was train wreck. Not to mention, we thought the manager was a customer as he was dressed down and was enjoying bar drinks. He never introduced himself as anything other than the manager.
Never again will we go back. The place needs to be shut down or another manager needs to come in and clean house.

Terrible service and dirty seating areas. Kitchen lost out order ticket after waiting for a hour… out waitress was very nice though.

For the appetizer we ordered the bacon wrapped stuffed jalapenos appetizer, you would think you’d get more then 4, delicious but tiny portion.
For dinner i had the Jack Daniels flat iron steak with parmesan streak fries And fresh spinach, everything came out as ordered, the steak was good but a little tough.
My womans’ had the chipolte yucatan chicken salad, as she said and I quote «the portion was large. The avocado vinaigrette by itself was weird but when mixed with the Chipotle drizzle and everything else it was very yummy»

Ate here last Tuesday and just missed lunch, but in the back of the menu are specials. I got the spinach, artichoke and cheese dip with nachos, and the cajun chicken pasta combo for $ 16. The waitress and chef were very nice at accommodating me, since I don’t eat meat we removed the chicken and substituted it with broccoli, onions, spinach and red peppers! Very good. My gf ordered the choose 3 appetizers– wings, pretzel bites, and overloaded potato skins.
Good location, close to the Westfield South Shore mall.
