I’m not sure why this place has such negative reviews & a poor rating. I have been here 3 times, including this week & have purchased both liquor & beer. The staff was fairly helpful, particularly this time when a gentleman(I believe it was the owner) was there. They have a reasonable variety of hard liquor, beer & wine, but this is BAYONNE people, so high end wines are not going to be found here or at any of the other liquor stores in this town. If you want high end, try Sparrows in Hoboken & prepare to spend more money. If you want your standard every day wine/beer/liquor this place is just fine. They have a large private parking lot & deliver alcohol including ice at no charge with a small minimum, which is very convenient. Having read the other reviews, it seems that some of them are just being very particular that their particular item was not in stock. Every liquor/wine store cannot carry every item for every person, so bear that in mind. This is your usual neighborhood place with parking & delivery — a PLUSPLUS in my book. My suggestion, try them yourself & see what you think instead of relying on a few negative reviews.

Harry’s reopened months ago. Directly across the street from the burned down location. After 3 plus years of asking them to keep a case of Bolla wine in inventory as I always ordered it by the case. They once out of 10 requests had a case on hand. Most times one to three bottles. Not going back. Changed my rating. Found another local stores to deliver what I ask for and get a by the case discount. Bye guys.

Was in the neighborhood and thought I’d be able to grab a nice bottle of wine. Seriously don’t understand why«wine cellar» is part of their name. A wine shoppe with gallons of Carlo & Rossi, Corbett Canyon and Yellow Tail. I didn’t see a box of Franzia but I ran out so fast I probably missed it.

The fridge is always warm, and the beer is old. They sold me two Sam Adams 6 packs that were 6 months months past there fresh date. «Drink before Nov 2011.» poor selections. No bags of ice. Old alcohol. From old, bitter beer to sour wine.
