Good pizza and pleasantly surprised the mozzarella sticks were still warm and cheesy by the time they arrived. The delivery was timely and the staff is super friendly! Found my new local pizza spot.

This is the absolute best pizza I’ve ever had in NJ or anywhere else. I come here so often the owner always recognizes me! Creative toppings, always delicious, and friendly service every day. Can’t recommend this place more!

Meh. Despite being cooked in a woodfire oven the pizza was not very good. In fact it was very burnt and tasted more like a cracker with pizza toppings on it than anything else. It was typical conveyor belt oven, fast food pizza.

Are they serious with the over done dry pizza. It reminded me of elios pizza that went in the trash. It did not look appealing and tasted worse.

Finally a place where their pizza matches their customer service!!! Ordered delivery, a large Margarita pie, and it was 10 out of 10, fresh grape tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella, not an ounce of grease dripping from it like most places, that delicious wood fired taste was perfect, crispy, and charred. The price was great as well, I think about $ 15 for a large. What made me Unilocal about them immediately is that we also ordered 2 Caesar Salads that were a nice portion for a great price, but unfortunately they forgot the dressings, gave them a call to let them know and the gentleman on the other end said he’d send them right over, and would also like to send us another Margarita pie on the house! I mentioned that it was completely unnecessary but he insisted and guess what, I have lunch tomorrow for a bonus! Thank you guys so much, and lookin forward to my next pie!!!

Our orders were just a small size pizza pf half 4 cheese and basic margarita, mozzarella sticks and bbq chicken wings. The pizza was obviously not fresh, they just reheated it which made it taste weird. It’s like a leftover pizza that was reheated. Why would they serve that to a first time customer? And why would they serve left overs in the first place! Anyway, the mozzarella sticks were… Meh… Like store brought frozen food. The only decent order we had was the chicken wings but that tasted old too but it was still okay. We will never order from this restaurant again!

Right off the bat, I had a bad experience with this place. It was my first time ordering from them and I did it through Unilocal.I ordered a medium Clam pie and wings which came to a little over $ 21. Being a first-time customer, Unilocal gave a 10% discount, as is their custom, which I could redeem immediately. Since I did not get the option to do it online, I decided to call them to ask for the discount. That’s when the problem started. This guy picked up the phone and after I explained why I was calling and he had confirmed that they received the order, he proceeded to fight with me over the discount, which was only $ 2.10 mind you. He left such a bad taste in my mouth that I cancelled the order right there. I mean, talk about terrible customer service! Even a two year old would know that the $ 2.10 was well worth bringing on board a new customer with the prospect of repeat business and word of mouth referral. I mean, the goodwill possibilities are endless but no, instead, he chose to argue with me and lose me as a customer for ever! Some businesses just don’t get it. The worst part is, I did not even get to taste the pizza!

So I ordered a delivery from online. About 30 minutes after the scheduled delivery time I call up to check the status. I was told the delivery guy tried calling me but had the wrong number so he brought the order back and it was cancelled. I asked why didn’t he ring the bell and got no answer. So I reordered and finally got my order approximately 2 hours after it was initially placed. I ordered a medium pizza, buffalo wings and a side of onion rings. So starting with the pizza, ummmmmmmm well ITSUCKED! I mean it really sucked. It had hardly any taste and appeared as if it were drowned with parmesan cheese in there somewhere. A Digiorno frozen pizza would have been 10x better. Moving on to the buffalo wings, well THEYSUCKEDTOO! The onion rings were pretty good but come on they’re onion rings. Can’t really screw those up. I see there are several people that are claiming that the pizza here is outstanding and I’m sorry but my experience couldn’t be further from that. Maybe they are reviewing from a Dine-in experience. But this pizza sucked so much that I won’t even go there and give it another chance. Thanks

I tried this place awhile back, if you consider it to be artisan pizza?. Hang it on a wall! The pizza was?.. I will not comment further than this, but Ellio’s was better and that is frozen and only used in desperation from a supermarket! The cheese was painted on, the crust was dry. In my opinion more so, a cremated, rather than a properly prepared pizza. My neighbor had the same experience. The person serving her left the store and register when someone ordered a salad and there was no lettuce in the place! Do restaurants stock up and have the necessary items before opening? If you have any expectation of success?.. and you as a restaurant owner for instance, offer a ham sandwich? Make sure you are supplied with ham 2 hours before opening. Enough said. No recommendation whatsoever.

The nutritious toppings are incredibly delicious. So many inspired options that run circles around what we typically think of as pizza. Food is not greasy or oily. But mostly, the guy that runs the place knows how to run a business. He calls me by name when I walk in the door and is always willing to make my experience something to talk about. And so I do! Definitely give this place a shot. I think it will quickly become your neighborhood pizza spot. And I haven’t even tried the penne yet!

The thin crust pizza is a better alternative than the thick crust for it doesn’t fill you up. As for the ingredients, they are fresh. It a good idea of have four different cheese than just mozzarella. As for taste wise the pizza has a tangy flavor on top of what ever you put on top of the cheese blend. This is my second time here and I recommend it. The only complaint I have is that the pizza maker could add a little bit more topping than sparely.

I’d heard this place was good from a co-worker for some time, but hadn’t had the opportunity to check it out. I finally did today and was pleasantly surprised! The wood fired thin crust personal pizza was awesome. #welldone #nicework The icing on the cake was spotting Captain Bayonne marching by on Broadway in full costume. Today was a great day!

I have ordered from this place 3 times now and I just love it. When I moved to Bayonne 4 years ago I kept on trying different pizza places but to be honest none were good till I came accross this place and now this is my pizza fix place to go . It is crispy with that fire aroma and not oily or the sauce running off the darn thing . They also have good salads. Please don’t change and keep on offering yummy tasty pizza :)))

They handled it poorly and spoke to me like I was a two years old or mentally challenged. i had to walk 10 blocks with my small child to just have it dealt with and felt like I was being accused of putting the crap in there myself. The manager knew it was there because he showed me the rest of the topping already cut and it too had pieces of plastic in it… 1st why show me the meat knowingly theres still pieces of plastic in it!?!, 2nd why didn’t he make the chef redo his prep and do the JOB properly! Mona Lisa Pizza, Pizza Masters, and Pizza Linos will from now on be my go to pizza spots! Now they decided to call me back… But I did not answer. I did get my money back but that’s not the point!!!

Now this place needs a standing ovation. Of course right before I move I find this place. The pizza was something this town has been missing and I love the shape — it just sets them apart. I hope this place gets succeeds in the best of ways. Now the real question, do you deliver to DC ?!

Tried the Sweet & Spicy Sausage Pizza I was underwhelmed I read the reviews here thinking this place was going to be something special It’s just okay too much grated cheese on the pie I did use the online coupon which brought the cost down to $ 16 the original price is $ 20 way too pricey for the product their putting out Recommend trying other Pizzerias before spending $ 20 here

Hands down the best pizza I ever ate. My favorite is the extra cheese, olives and sausage. The first time I ever tried thin crust pizza, I ordered a small one and it was so good I had to have another one. Sam really cares about the customer experience and using fresh ingredients. Wildwood also has the Belly rewards card and runs specials. I let mine ring up to get the free pizza and then by a salad on the side . All the best to Sam and Raquel in the New Year.

Just ordered from here last night for the 2nd time ever. First off, when I called, they said«oh Michelle, we see that you haven’t ordered from us for about 2 months — how have you been?» — nice touch! I ordered a medium margheritta pizza with fresh mozzarella, sauce & basil — it was amazingly delicious & more than enough for 3+ people. I also ordered a ceasar salad — not as large as I am used to, but for $ 4.25 it was enough for 2 people to eat plenty. I also mentioned the Unilocal 10% off & they were very happy to apply that to the order. Delivery came quickly, the pizza was HOT& tasty, salad fresh & crisp. I was thrilled. THEN… the owner called & said«just calling to check & make sure the food was good & to your liking» — !!! Now, this is customer service at its finest, & as the Queen of CS, I definitely know it when I see it. Don’t miss this place — yes, it’s new, but the food is delicious, & the service is beyond compare!

We have visited Wild Wood Fired Pizza twice now and it just keeps getting better! The owner is very friendly and provides good service. On our first visit we enjoyed two small pies and an order of buffalo wings. We were so pleasantly surprised by how good everything was, that we brought a friend for dinner the other night. We have tried the Mushrooms and Red Onions pie, Braised Lamb, Roasted Lemon and Oregano pie and the Classic Margherita pie. All of them are delicious! The ingredients are clearly high quality, healthy and fresh. The buffalo wings are in the top 3 of best in Bayonne, in our opinion. As Arnold would say, «I’ll be back!» They offer a unique style of pizza that the community should embrace.

Wow, This is an amazing little spot serving the most unusual and extremely tasty pizza. If you could imagine pizza meeting the great hardwood flavor of southern open pit BBQ, this is it! It is more of a flatbread style then a traditional Italian pizza with an extremely thin crispy cust, fantastic cheese combination and a great sauce. This is one of the most unique pies I have had. I have not tried any of the additional toppings because being a Brooklyn pizza purist, I just don’t usually do that. Many pizza places use so called«wood fired» ovens these days but none that I have tried take advantage of the wood so righteously to achieve such an amazing, smokey result. This is one of the best flavors in Bayonne and better then most wood fired pies I’ve had in the five boroughs with the exception of maybe Fornino’s. Their penne al vodka is great and also features that amazing hardwood smoke flavor. I’ve eaten in and taken out and it is works out perfectly either way. My only complaint is that their menu could feature more choices and they should turn off that TV and put on some music! Do not sleep on this great pizza spot.

Holy crap, this is good pizza! There’s been a lot of buzz about this place on Facebook lately, on the local Bayonne board, so I tried it out. I am in love. This is not like the usual Bayonne pizza. I ordered the clam pie tonight and it is amazing! The crust is incredibly thin and nicely crisped. The clams are juicy and the pie is just too good for words. I love a good gourmet, thin-crust pizza, and this is better than anything I’ve had in Manhattan. The menu isn’t extensive, there’s 11 pizzas and you can build your own, and they make some penne mac and cheese dishes that sound good. Me? I am sticking to this pizza. I love it. I’ve always loved a good thin crust and this has won my pizza-loving heart. They were running a special tonight where they threw in a small pie for free, so my kid is getting her own plain pie. More clam for me!
