Good spot but if you offer beer pong don’t charge 5 dollars for freaking cups… ridiculous

My friend’s suggestion was to come here and bring a can of whooping in billiards. Said can of whoop a– did not materialize. Not that I’m amazing at pool anyway. The thing is we didn’t bring a credit card to reserve the tables. Ugh why didn’t we come prepared! Sounds hilarious, right? It is a fun place to have a conversation. The music is top 40’s, and to quote Kate Perry, I liked it. Then again, I walked in with my coworkers around 3 pm, so maybe it wasn’t a crazy scene. We were looking for something nice to unwind after a long crazy week of work. After walking in, I glimpsed in and spied scores of pool tables, even a table tennis table, and also air hockey table. For some reason, they didn’t have some things on the menu – maybe since it was the afternoon? Or is it like this often… I would still give them the benefit of the doubt. Espresso machine wasn’t working, so we did not have cappuccinos or Irish Crème Espresso. We ended up with two iced coffees which were great! Oh well, so there are no berries for colada. It’s okay we are resourceful, so we got pina coladas instead. I felt bad for the waitress, since she was all alone by herself, bringing us drinks and plates of food. She was aboveboard about the things available and apologetic about things that ran out. I liked her. She was really helpful and friendly. And we all really liked our meals and also the drinks which were good. Sweet! I was thinking of Long Island Iced Tea, but it might be too much – let’s save it for next time! Oh and I love Peach Schnapps! In three drinks, I saw it! California Sunset, Irish Kiss, and Sangria Martini.

I give cue bar two stars because of the food. The drinks deserve 5 and the environment should get 4. But the food ruins this place. I tried the calamari, popcorn chicken, and mozzarella sticks… All dry. Didn’t enjoy the food at all. But the drinks are delicious! Dont waste money on food there

Came on Saturday nite, so crowed inside. Left the name and number on the waiting list. After two hours, received the call to let us come back while we were told to wait for 20 mins. In three mins, we arrived at the front the door. The Security Guy stopped me. I told him I received the call to ask me to come back. He said nicely, «Sweetie, GETAWAY!» Excuse me!!! How rude you can be? Does your boss pay you extra money to act like a barking D*g in the front? BTW, who’s ur f*cking SWEETIE?

Been coming here for a while, this is a go to drink and pool spot. Drinks are reasonably priced, but I recommend coming on Monday night when it’s $ 4 draft beer, $ 4 Jameson shots. They have other specials but I forget. Place is fairly clean and staff is very friendly. Good place to come with friends, especially when it’s cold, I’ve been able to occupy myself here for hours between drinking, playing pool, and ping pong. Food is pretty good for a bar, my favorite is the cheeseburger.

Came here to play beer pong with the boyfriend. Spent $ 30 on a tower of Coors Light and it came with either fries, pizza, or 8 of their wings. We went with the wings and the chicken looked anorexic. We were also charged $ 5 to play… On a table situated between their bathroom and camera room. While we played the balls kept getting on the pool floor, going down the stairs, and hitting people going to the bathroom. When we finished our beer we decided to play some pool. On a Sunday night I believe it was $ 12 an hour. Oh and when we finished paying the girl forgot to return my ID but I guess I had such a great time beating my boyfriend in pool that I forgot to even ask for

Love this place! My friends and I go here to play pool. We always have a great experience here even when it’s packed. We’ve never had a bad waitress nor a mess up with our drinks or food. If you want to drink, play pool, listen to good music and watch sports, this is your spot. This is an awesome neighborhood spot but it’s large and clean not some nasty billiards place. Get in here you’ll find something to do!

Cue bar is a run of the mill pool hall. What is unique about it, is that it’s the only option for pool in Bayside. Being perfectly honest, this place isn’t that bad. The tables are solid without any scratches on the felt. Most of the cues are straight but always test them before using them! I love that they have a full bar and have waitresses going around to each table. Drinks are okay here, not the widest selection of beer but respectable enough where everyone will find something that they like. I do like drinking Macallen here, something about drinking whisky and playing pool just rings that perfect tone. Make sure you don’t park in the CVS parking lot. You will get towed.

An otherwise 4-star review has been downgraded to 3 because of the way Cue Bar charges its customers(see review end). Cue Bar is huge, so you never have to wait for a pool table. There are options for other activities as well, such as ping pong, beer pong(yes, there are designated beer pong tables), air hockey, and a couple of electronic games(boxing, darts). Simply put, you won’t be bored here. But if you are, there are chairs and benches throughout, including a lounge area near the bar. Prices are moderate. They charge per person, per hour, and there are drink specials depending on the night. When I came here on Sunday, my 2 friends and I were charged $ 36.24 for 2 hours 6 minutes of ping pong/pool($ 5.75 per person per hour), and $ 42 for 6 Silver Margarita specials($ 7 each). The total was $ 78.24, but we were charged $ 78.25. Obviously, this is hardly a big difference, but it really irritates me when businesses have willy-nilly practices for charging customers.

This is a neighborhood place that is great to come to just for shooting some pool and not getting your drink on, although you can get your drink on here and you might play pool better if your do. Lots of tables to play on and we have never had to wait for a table. Plenty of seating for those not into showing off their mad pool skills and just wanting to watch those that think they have skills. We come here every so often and have a few good laughs at who thinks they are the Minnesota Fats of the neighborhood. I break out my «Simpsons» stick and start smacking those balls into the pockets. Yes I do own a pool stick with Homer Simpson on it, don’t judge… just love. And all of the balls are good right? I don’t discriminated against the balls, all are fair game for me. :) We have ordered some bar food here and its bar food. I have never had any beer or cocktails at this place so I really cannot rate it based on the alcohol but the fun is good. They also have ping pong another game where you get worse or better based on alcohol content of the human body. There is a very busy Halal food truck outside of the Cue Bar, which seems very popular at all times of the day. Note to all coming here… DONOTPARKINTHECVSPARKINGLOT. They tow cars regularly in this parking lot. Cue Bar has no parking lot so you will need to park your car on the street or better yet take an UBER. This way you can get your drink on and play/shoot some pool responsibly. PS. Don’t shoot your balls on the floor.

Not my go to. They play decent music on the weekends(decent as in old school hip-hop which I LOOOOOVE). They have plenty of pool tables, a ping pong table, a beer pong table, and even a punch machine(where you hit the paddle as hard as you can). The drinks aren’t so special. I also wish they had bigger TV screens. Don’t recommend coming here to watch sports(due to tiny screen size) but the atmosphere kinda makes up for it. If you have nowhere else to go and you’re on Bell & Northern, sure, go right in.

I’ve been coming here to shoot 8 ball recently. It’s a good place. It’s too crowded for me on busy nights, but at other times its just right. The rates are reasonable. The food is so-so, but its what I’d expect from a pool hall. Beer is fairly cheap. Unfortunately you can’t park in the CVS parking lot. You’ll have to find street parking, but its not hard when its not busy– another reason I don’t go on a busy night. I’ve seen the bar get full too. Bartenders are friendly as well.

Let’s see, the place is huge and comfortable. I did not eat at this place we only had beers. I will write a review about the food once I try it. It’s a very chill place and they have drink specials everyday at the bar only!

Had a date at Cue Bar on a Thursday night. My first impression was a good one. The place has a good vibe. It’s huge, clean, the football game was on the big screen… we were good. The register in the front is for pool only… there will be another bill for food and drinks. The prices for pool are listed and the price is dependent on the day, time, and amount of people on the table. He gave in his I.D. to get a pool table and were assigned table #19. There are several pool tables, a Foosball table, a Beer Pong Table, and Table Hockey. The waitress came around(in the beginning of our date) and took drink and food orders. I ordered Pinot Grigio and then a Sex on the Beach from the Happy Hour Menu. Not sure of the Pinot Grigio brand but it was delightful and the Sex on the Beach was really good. There were a lot of good drink choices on the late night happy hour menu posted right on the front door. When we wanted to order food, the waitress was no where to be found and it was not busy at all. When she finally came around, we grabbed her and ordered Honey BBQ popcorn chicken and they came out cold. He really wanted quesadillas anyway so we sent the chicken back and ordered steak quesadillas instead. She was very nice about taking the food back and taking it off the bill. Before the quesadillas came out, she brought us the bill saying that she’s closing out so we should close out. It’s all good but now I understand why you were no where to be found. She was probably cleaning up so she could get up outta there. What I didn’t like is that she stood there in front of us waiting for him to pay, took the money, never brought back the change, and didn’t ask if the change was hers or not. I thought that was rude. There are also tables and chairs around the pool tables but I just felt like on either side, my bag was just too far from me. Other than that one server, we had a good time. I wouldn’t go running back but I would probably revisit.

Nice and big place with well maintained equipment. If you’re an avid pool player this place wouldn’t disappoint. They’ve a huge bar but it’s completely separated from the pool area so it’s not too noisy and lighting on table is great. Love it.

After many years of hitting up Bell Blvd during my college days, and passing Cue Bar during my drives down Northern, it always piqued my interest and never got the opportunity to go in… until now! I went in on a Wednesday night for a casual date to play some ping pong. I never realized how big it is inside… I mean, the space is HUGE! I was quite impressed! Though they only have two ping pong tables nestled in the back corner, there are plenty of pool tables. The prices are very reasonable and they also run many specials on drinks. There is also a really cute lounge area by the bar with… get this… ANINDOORFIREPIT! Awesome. What I really liked was the service wasn’t overbearing. We got our drinks and proceeded to play without anyone interrupting to ask if we wanted to order anything, though if you do, hailing a server is not difficult at all. Just a side note, it may seem like they have a private lot for you to park in on the side, but it’s for the big CVS next door so you’re stuck with street parking which is a little bit of a tedious task to find a spot during certain times of day.

Great place to come hang out and shoot pool. The tables are level and regulation size. They also have additional games such as foosebal and air hockey. I never really play those but it’s good to know that I can. The ping pong area is cornered off and can be a lot better. Parking around here is so annoying because they don’t have a lot but the establishment is clean. I normally don’t eat at pool halls but was hungry so decided to order some food. I was so surprised by the food quality. The tuna was terrific and fries were fantastic! I’m usually here once or twice a month and this is my favorite place to shoot pool in Queens.
