I never got a call that one of my meds was already ready this week. When I went to pick it up last night which was exactly a week since I dropped off the prescriptions, the Pharmacy Technician said«That will be $ 75» and I showed her that I have a coupon and I don’t have to pay more than $ 10 given to me from my Dermatologist. I waited an hour for the Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacist to apply the coupon to my health insurance. Wow unbelievable how slow they move like fucking turtles. Of course the Pharmacy Technician needed backed up from the cashiers because she probably wasn’t even certified for this kind of work. Also I had a 2nd prescription which they didn’t even bother to do or still waiting for approval but I was luckily able to get it through another pharmacy that my dermatologist’s office set up for me and it was shipped to me for FREE! Honestly last time I will ever drop off my prescriptions… don’t even bother! Unbelievable how shitty this pharmacy department is. I will stick with my good old RITEAID!

This review is for pharmacist Ruta! A gem, and we need more pharmacists like her! Yes, I’ve been to this Duane Reade(and others and CVS and Rite Aid) with a large crowd build up, but last night Ruta did my dad a solid. His insurance only covers Duane Reade and he was discharged late from the hospital, giving us limited options as to where to fill his scripts. I called DR, and Ruta gave us alternative 24-hr DR options, but also checked and said that she was sure to have the 3 meds he needed and would wait past her shift to make sure we got them. Not only that, but she went over the scripts with me on the phone to make sure the MD/PA had filled them out appropriately(they hadn’t!) so I was able to get someone to review them and fill them out correctly before leaving the hospital. We arrived at the pharmacy, gates down(way past closing time for them), and Ruta was standing by to fill our scripts immediately. 11 stars for Ruta!(And, hoping I spelled her name correctly.)

its the worst. the pharmacy is always backed up, the staff in there can care less about their jobs. never any help when you need it. always one person at the counter with a line. no one has knowledge of anything.

Consistently poor and slow service. This pharmacy is conveniently located yet I am still compelled to switch to CVS miles away. Prescriptions never ready on time, and they lie about whether it is available and what time they will have it today was my last visit.

I came here for liquid Advil & Neosporin. I found what I was looking for. Happy that the items I needed were on sale. I ended up spending $ 12 in total. That made me happy because drug stores tend to be on the expensive side for no reason. The sales associate that rung me up was very polite & professional. This location is clean, a decent size & quiet.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. For one prescription and to have an error fixed I had to go back three times and I just realized I need to go back so they can correct another error they made! This is perhaps the most ridiculous experience I have ever had at a pharmacy. The staff is seemingly untrained and unable to fix errors on their own system. Go to another pharmacy if you can.

This Duane Reade was alright. I was a little annoyed that they had items in their circular that that didn’t actually carry. But besides that, no different than any other Duane Reade.

This really is the worst pharmacy EVER. Other then the assistant mgr — i think his name was tommy, everyone in there was like a dumb zombie. Dont count on them for any meds. You’ll die.

One of my worst experiences at ANY retailer… ever! I ordered photos online last night, got an email saying they were ready for pick, and then I went to the store to pick up and HADTOWAIT cuz they were still working on the order! Why tell me it’s ready when it’s not?! I could’ve done something else instead of standing around waiting! The manager Melissa saw that I was clearly pissed off, but she just said«it’s Snapfish’s fault» for sending an automatic email that my pics were ready. Great… pass the blame instead of looking in the mirror. She didn’t try to apologize for making me wait. She even told me that I wasn’t the first customer who had this problem! Uhm, if more than a couple people complain, don’t you think that there’s a PROBLEM here?! I know that I’m NEVER going to DR again. I’ll just spend my hard earned $$ elsewhere.
