Bonda Yoga is so much more than a yoga studio, it’s a supportive community! The owners Laurie and Alex make an effort to learn everyone’s names. The instructors go out of their way to adjust you in deepening your practice, if that’s what you’d like. This studio has all levels of classes to further your practice. Individuals of all levels practice here but the environment is always nonjudgmental and everyone is encouraged to accept what their bodies are currently capable of. I attended this studio regularly 4 – 5 times a week while studying for the NY bar exam. While other fellow law students were experiencing overwhelming anxiety and stress, I was able overcome all anxiousness through regular practice at Bonda Yoga. The instructors, yoga practice, and yoga students contributed to me finding focus and stress release. Although I was studying 12 hours a day, coming to class always revitalized me and provided me with boundless energy. The bar exam should have been the most difficult chapter of my life, however, due to the supportive community at Bonda Yoga and the incredible benefits of vinyasa style yoga, it passed with ease.

I wanted to try out a studio yoga after practicing at home and I was so glad I choose Bonda Yoga. I had a great class there, it was challenging but an exhilarating flow with a warm knowledgable instructor Sharon. The studio was clean and had a wonderful ambience and I really enjoyed it.

I was in Great Neck for business and found myself w/a morning off. Decided to take a local yoga class. The studio is very clean and friendly. The instructor(who I believe was also the owner) and assistant were so kind and welcoming, showing me where to put my things and loaning me a mat. It was $ 20 for a single one and a half hour class, which is pretty average by my standards, but they seemed to have really good rates for multi-class packages. If I was nearby I would definitely go back.

Wonderful yoga studio! I found Bonda Yoga while looking for prenatal yoga classes. The people are very friendly and it’s a great place to practice. I always go to evening or weekend classes so parking is never an issue.

Bonda is a great yoga studio! I started practicing yoga here almost two years ago and it has been wonderful. Everyone is very nice and helpful. It is a small studio which is wonderful because teachers really help you learn the poses and make sure you are doing them correctly so you don’t hurt yourself. It is also great because it is not intimidating when you are new/learning. All of the classes are so different which is great because you never get bored.(if you don’t love a class always try a different one because they are all so different) This is a great place for anyone new to yoga or those with an existing practice!

I like that there are two floors so that a beginners class and advanced class can go on at the same time. The studio is decently sized and clean. Bathroom is large and clean. I parked in the lot up the block. 25 cents/hour. I think after 6 pm, parking is free. Not bad at all. Certain instructors were ok but others were… unfortunate to say, below mediocre. I don’t appreciate single conversations happening between the instructor and student for 10 min. I certainly have more of a problem when the student(who can do multiple inversions) lecture the instructor on what is the best way to go about getting into the pose. Sorry, you can do this before or after class. Other students are sitting around just watching this go on when we could have been in downward dog or doing… whatever! As I took more classes… less and less students would come. I am all about the energy in the room… the less students, the more one way conversations in class. I didn’t finish my class cards. I just couldn’t bring myself back there. Unless you have a groupon or something, the classes are quite expensive.

Everyone here is super nice and welcoming and the teachers have great personalities. They are willing to help you with the poses and correct you as needed which I love. I love the classes so much I don’t want them to end. The only thing is when there are two classes they should state which class each room is in for the newer people but that is easy to ask and their times are very inconvenient for me but as a graduate student I have a bit of a unusual schedule so that could be my fault.

Great yoga place! The owner, Laurie, is a genuinely nice person who is easy to approach. The instructors are friendly also. This yoga studio has two comfortable rooms. I’ve taken classes in both. There are classes for all levels. If you’re a beginner or someone who’s easing back into yoga, I recommend both the beginners and the Principles of Alignment classes. There’s also an open-level vinyasa class. This one is good for all levels as long as you have prior yoga experience. As for the advanced classes, I have not taken yet. I did eavesdropped and heard two ladies talking about it after an advanced class was over. All positives. They looked relaxed and were smiling as they spoke about how great the class was. In addition to all this, there’s even a tiny boutique when you enter. It carries yoga mats, yoga clothes, lounging around clothes, and more. After typing this review up, I’m craving for some Bonda Yoga!

Love them! Everyone at Bonda Yoga is incredibly nice and have awesome energy. Although I have not perfected most yoga moves, they make you feel confident in eventually reaching that level of comfort and stamina. I am very lazy when it comes to physical activity and I can honestly say that every time I am going to attend a class here I look forward to getting out of bed. Thanks Bonda Yoga!
