I have been coming here for years since my grandma lives locally and Maggie Mays never disappoints! The food always tastes great. The specials are well priced and you get a good amount of food for what your paying for. If you like seafood I would recommend the lobster bisque as a starter. Nice pub for any occasion. They have a great room in the back for private parties.

Food was absolutely amazing! The service was wonderful. Great atmosphere. Briana and Tara were excellent servers. Made us very comfortable. This is a great spot to either grab a nice drink or take the family! I recommended the French onion soup!

This review is based on a private event I attended here(graduation party). I highly recommend throwing an event here– their dining room is spacious and the outdoor patio is really nice additional space(and shady!). The party package was a buffet lunch and an open bar(beer+wine) from 1−4pm. The service was top notch– the waitress who took my drink order remembered what I ordered when she came around to ask me if I wanted a refill(pretty good considering there was 40+ people). The servers also good about making rounds to tables to make sure everyone had what they needed. The buffet offered a nice variety of food– I particularly liked the penne a la vodka and roasted potatoes mmm! From what I heard, the price per person was extremely reasonable too.

Best place on Bell! The food is good, the drinks are good. There is live music on Friday. The pies are amazing and homemade, delicious!

Great food at great prices, can’t put it simpler. Got filet mignon, cooked perfect in a delicious mushroom sauce, just $ 20. I’d come back for sure!

Just got back from dinner at this establishment and it left a bad taste in my mouth. The two stars reflects the food and price, since the waitresses weren’t bad or exceptional. I ordered the bratwurst and my wife ordered the shrimp and scallops and my bratwurst never came with the sauerkraut. I mentioned this to the waitress who said that it’ll be right out but i ended up finishing my dinner before it came out. My wife’s shrimp and scallops only had 3 shrimps and a 4 – 5 small to medium sized scallops. This dish cost $ 18. Overall, with two unsweetened ice teas(no refills) we paid $ 46. They only accept cash. I left feeling very unsatisfied and won’t be coming back to this place again.

Casual environment, clean venue, nice bartenders, great specials, reasonable prices. The bartender made helpful food suggestions. The bar was a little too crowded in that I felt like I heard everyone’s conversations. The noise level was a bit too much for me.

Very good food, great bar. Ask for Garry behind the bar. Good guy. They have an excellent brunch and late night food specials at the bar. Can’t go wrong at Maggie Mays

Perfect place for a private party. The staff is very accommodating, the food was great, and the space was warm and friendly. All of my guests have complimented me on the party and how great the place was.

Even though they are an Irish themed bar, they have no clue how to properly serve a Guinness or they’re just lazy. Either way, unacceptable.

Neighborhood restaurant/bar with good food and reasonable prices. Chicken sandwich is my go to. Crab cakes are good and the fish taco is a great snack at the bar. Cash only is a bummer but the bill is never that bad.

What I’m about to write is unbelievably disgusting but unfortunately true. On Wed. Feb. 20, 2013 my husband and I went to Maggie Mays for the first time. We went for their Lobster dinner special. All was fine, until what happened next. We were both finished eating, I had more than half my meal left over. I told the waitress I was done and asked her to wrap up the rest to take home. The check came but not my «doggie bag» I asked what happened, she said she thought I was done and threw everything out. I said but I had half a lobster left and corn etc. Well it’s in the garbage now you don’t want me to take it out she said jokingly. Of course not I replied. She than asked if I wanted a chicken sandwich to take home. No I really wanted lobster. Then she said hold on and came back a few minutes later With a doggie bag with half a lobster and a whole corn. she smiled and said sorry it was a misunderstanding. The next day I opened the bag to discover she had indeed gone back into the GARBAGE taken out my food and just reheated it. How do I know this for sure. While eating my meal I noticed which claw I had eaten and how thick the shell was. But the biggest give away. I had accidently broken off a piece of tail fin while at the restaurant there it was the same broken fin sitting in the take home container. I’m really sickened by the the whole event. The restaurant had an A rating I’m sure this is something the Board of Heatlth would be interested in hearing.

Not great. Drinks ok. Bread was good, but not great. Kids’ chicken fingers had zero flavor. My fish and chips were forgettable… except for the vegetables. Steamed green beans and carrots were done perfectly. I ate that first, which says a lot. My husband asked for hot wings, super spicy, super well done. The sauce was good, but they weren’t crispy like he’d hoped. We won’t go back.

What does one crave when its a rainy, cold Sat. night. Guiness and shepherds pie, of course! Walked in and fell in love with the back area. the warm glow of the fireplace sucked me right in!!! Just what the Dr. ordered to warm my bones– chicken soup, Guinney on tap and my BIG, MASSIVE, ENOUGH to split w/3 ppl … my 12.95 shepherds pie! Everything was pure comfort for the soul. Managed to save room for the butternut squash flan for dessert. wow!!! Thats all I have to say about that! Come here on a cold, rainy/snowey night! Order soup, and a pint of whatevers. u will be happy!!! Oh, and great service too!!! Living in Flushing, I usually have to trek it to Sunnyside for decent Irish grub(sorry, not a fan of Donovans), so happy I know where to go now!

Seriously?!? Seriously! I’m confused after reading a few good reviews on here I decided to try this place for dinner. First walk in, this place is cute and much BIGGER then I thought. The hostess asked us if we wanted to sit in the dining room or the outside area it was covered and looked nice so we choose the outside. Only problem, they boxed one row of tables in so once you were in there was no feasible way to get out. Eventually, they had people on the outside tables get up so they could move that row out so the servers and ppl could get by. This is fine I mean they figured out a way to rectify a situation Waitress came over and she was really nice, nothing over the top though just standard good service. First we decide to split some buffalo wings and we each got a beer(poor selection if your looking for anything special) Wings were crispy and had alot of spice and the blue cheese was tasty. My hopes were risen Then came the En tree’s I ordered fish and chips, which wasn’t fish and chips at all. It was a soggy fried piece of flounder or cod, ONELARGEPIECE just fried, that’s NOT fish and chips that is fried flounder with fries. The fish was nothing terrible but it was filleted so thin it just fell apart on contact with my fork. The other dish was Chicken(ala Maggie or something) It had artichokes and a really strange looking sauce on it. I was told it wasn’t good but no inedible. So sadly while I might come here for another order of wings and a beer I wouldn’t waste my time getting dinner here. The prices aren’t terrible so I guess you get what you pay for, reasonable prices for low quality food

I wandered in here last night w/a friend by accident. We were looking for a casual place where we could have some drinks & conversation without having to shout. Pleasantly surprised by how spacious and clean Maggie’s was. 90s music playing at a good decibel had me humming and bopping my head. We decided to get something to munch on so we ordered some buffalo chicken wings — very tasty stuff The crowd was an older crowd but throughout the night, younger crowds trickled in. I’m adding Maggie’s to my list of local spots for chill nights!

On Tuesday and Wednesday nights Maggie’s has a good lobster deal. For only $ 33(CASHONLY) which includes tax and tip, you get a 1 ¼lb lobster, 2 clams, about 8 mussels, corn on the cob, baked potato and a salad plus 2 alcoholic beverages. I do remember the lobster special being a little better a year ago. It seems like they gave you more clams, but it’s still good for the price. Not much ambiance. A step up from an old man’s bar and they do have outside seating. If not for the lobster, I’m sure I would never venture in there. Worth checking out on Tuesday or Wednesday nights though.

Who knew a bar would have some of the best lobster I’ve ever tasted? I’ve been the Cape Cod and other Lobster-Friendly places and seriously, Maggie Mays’ lobster can rival any of them! They have a special on Tuesdays and Wednesdays: $ 13.95 Lobster Special with the purchase of 2 alcoholic drinks(without the drinks, it comes to $ 18.95). The Lobster is 1.25lbs and it comes with a salad, clams, muscles, baked potato and corn. The staff is very friendly and the bartender always greets you when you walk in. It’s a little like cheers with with a decent dinning area in the back! This place gets 5 stars because it’s a BAR with some of the best lobster I’ve ever had.

Neighborhood Pub. Nice little place for knocking back a few cocktails. The bar food is very good which is always a bonus. Prices were good — the bartender we had was a little too into his friends, but he was making decent drinks so it worked out. The crowd was a bit on the young side — but everyone was well behaved.
