They rob you blind here. I rarely come and give them my money. I always go to the better bagel spot on bell. They are sooooooo over priced and they charge you more money than it says on there price board. There sandwiches are fucking gross and give you a half an egg on a Bagel for like $ 6 … Yeah they are nice but rob you blind. Chinese people are fucking cheap

Decent bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee. And only a block away from my apartment? Awesome. Grabbing a toasted everything with lox, scallion cream cheese, and tomato has never been more convenient. I do admit that the bagels are slightly smaller than most places at the same price point, and I’m still craving more if I’m feeling particularly ravenous. But you know what they say about having eyes larger than your stomach, haha. Their sausage, egg, and cheese on a roll is pretty solid, too.

This place is ridiculous. ONLY reason why I always end up coming back here is because of it’s location… — These people always charge me a different price for the same things I always get. EX. 2baconeggandcheese will be $ 7 one day and then $ 10 the other. — I called to place my order and he told me to hurry up. AND the food isn’t even that good…

The food is good but a lot of delivery issues. I live very close and takes over an hour most times to arrive. Also it is very aggravating to order over phone because of all the suggestions from owner. I want what I want nothing more. And them talking over you.

I came for the first time a few months back with my fiancé we live not too far from here and I judged it from the outside but when we ordered our breakfast platters it was delicious! We got eggs over easy with Swiss cheese melted turkey bacon home fries and whole wheat toast with butter. They gave us more than we expected. And they were giving us really really good service from extra ketchup to ice coffee. It wasn’t that crowded that day but when it gets crowded its not so bad there are four tables(booths) that you can sit and plenty of room to walk around. I’ve been there over a dozen times for breakfast and their sandwiches are great! You gotta ask for hot pastrami with coleslaw on a hero with extra spicy mustard and swiss toasted. It sounds crazy but it’s delicious! They have this house mustard it’s honestly the best dressing in a sandwich. sweet spicy and salty it’s delicious. They have a bunch of special sandwiches they make. Haven’t tried everything yet but from my experience they make great food for a local deli. The only thing I see wrong is they advertise bagels. They should be advertising sandwiches and breakfast. Their bagels are decent. Always fresh and they have an array of pastries to choose from… but they’re breakfast and sandwiches are where it’s at. They prepare orders specifically so if you just ask for a ham and cheese on a roll like the woman below they will only give you one egg with a slice of ham and cheese. hence its 3.50 cents. It’s 2014 you get what you pay for. Pay 5 bucks or more and ask for 2 or more eggs and they will do the job. Trust me. Anyways all in all my favorite deli in short distance. Definitely my go-to deli. People need to stop judging with their eyes and start judging with their taste-buds. I’ve been there so many times he will slip me a free banana here and there and I really do appreciate that even if it’s just a banana. Very humble owners who really want to satisfy the customers. Enjoy! Yours truly the peters hot bagels ambassador.

Blueberry Bagel is my favorite. Their bagels do stay soft as advertised. However, I must say, they a little pricey. Apparently, having the bagel toasted means extra charge. Coffee is good… large coffee is 2.75 though. Normally if I am early for work, I would make a detour to get DD instead. Mr. Peter(the Owner I think…) is super nice, but that really doesn’t have anything to do with the quality of their food. Although there has been more than one or two occasions that they messed up my bagel orders but I am not too picky so it doesn’t bother me.

Coming here for almost 2 years. Must really be a fool for doing so. Why is there no decent bagel place in bayside? This place keeps screwing up my order. How difficult is it to make a butter & jelly roll or scrambled eggs? Peter, I have gone over this with you plenty of times. Today was my last day wasting money on your business. You just don’t get it or don’t care. Either way not the proper way to run a business.

Should have known better and heeded fellow Unilocaler«Lenna P’s» warning and stay clear of this place! On a positive note, the folks here are super duper nice and friendly. I guess it’s their strategy to draw you in hoping you’ll come back. Hmm, if I shower them with kindness, maybe they won’t realize what a terrible sandwich we make. Well, why am I so pissed? If you look at the pic I posted of my ham, egg and cheese sandwich on a roll you would know why. How can you call this a sandwich??? and you have the gall to initially charge me $ 3.00 dollars and then collect another 50 cents because you made a mistake on the price? Does the pic look like this is worth $ 3.50? Me thinks not!!! Someone must have been sleeping or out of school during«Basic sandwich making 101» was given. It looks like these guys used a pasta machine and fed the eggs and ham thru the rollers several times. The eggs and ham were super thin. I think they probably used 1 egg to make two sandwiches. I don’t care how many times you try to fold cooked eggs and ham, it’s not going to give you more food, in this case, it just enhances the illusion of a sub par sandwich! I really wish the best for them, but if they continue on this path they won’t be in business much longer.

Ehhh. Nothing to rave about. I ordered an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. Last time I checked an everything bagel consists of sesame seeds, onion, poppy seeds, salt and a bunch of other stuff that I can’t seem to remember at the moment. Sadly, when I took my bagel out of the bag I only saw 11 seeds in total(yes, I counted). Dude. Bagels can make or break my day, you gotta take the seeds seriously! Cream cheese was good. Coffee was your typical deli coffee. The place is really small and if you have more then 5 people in there at once it gets super awkward. I did not know where to stand. Everybody was awkwardly rubbing against one another. I believe they only had two tables, maybe three. I’ll probably stop by again and try a breakfast sandwich, but I’m going to pass on the bagels.
