Not your typical place, it is a Wine Bar, a Coffee Shop,& a Music Venue. Upon walking in, you’re amazed that this place is in Baytown and not in Austin. I mean, I was taken back that this placed existed, FINALLY a place close to home that has everything I could want. I used to drive in to town (Houston) in order to experience Craft Beers, and live music. Cork Grinders, thank you so much for bringing entertainment to Baytown. You’re saving us the drive, bringing amazing acts to perform (both music and comedians). On top of it all, you have something to munch on, while I have a few Craft Beers. I love the Brunson, or the Hummus, it’s so hard to decide it is all so good! If you are in Baytown and are looking for something to do without driving 47 minutes to Downtown Houston, Cork Grinders is the place to go!

I had no idea there was a place like this in Baytown. The atmosphere is great very relaxed. My husband and I were both very impressed and will be back for sure. He usually drinks crown and coke but they do not serve hard liquor. He was recommended a Jack Daniel’s soda which was really good. The owner definitely takes pride in customer sevice. Don’t expect to order any food after 10 pm. Can’t wait to come back during the day and try their coffee, and food. They open at 4 normally, except for Mondays which they are closed. On Saturdays they open at 8 and have a larger menu which includes omelettes. I can definitely see myself coming here instead of Starbucks to do some reading or studying.

The mocha is really well made. Cappuccino is on the spot too. Glad to finally have tried this place. Excellent alternative to Starbucks in Baytown (unfortunately Starbucks is the only other place for coffee in Baytown worthy enough to call a café).
Live music and open mic nights on certain days.

I really like this place. It’s unique, the music is good and the beer and wine selection is even better.

Favorite place, we use to have to go to Houston for a bar with a cool classy environment but now i have a place down the street & the staff is incredible! Great coffee and wine selection

Awesome place, great atmosphere and one of the few places in baytown I can actually get a craft IPA or my wife can get frilly coffee or tea. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I ordered hummus that took 30 minutes to appear. It’s a Saturday night and the waitress told me the kitchen was overwhelmed. When it came out it needed quite a bit of salt. Otherwise outstanding!

Hidden jewel! Found this place after work Saturday night. Live band, great wine, and cheese platter was to die for! Little on the high end of my budget but definitely will be back.

Cheese plate was delicious with good variety and we especially loved the Yardbird pizza… respectable wine selection (we tried a few each)…and great live music… looking forward to our next visit!

A tad overpriced on their wine… BUT…they have to make $ & also it was delicious! Didn’t try the food they have. Maybe next time. Very small bar so the band playing was super loud & couldn’t hear my friend talking right in my face. Overall… I WILL go back! Lots of hipsters… didnt know Baytown had those. Lol.

This place is really fun to go to! They have a nice bar, nice staff, nice hair, nice ceiling and nice lighting. They have a ton of different chairs everywhere so you can feel comfortable and all of the wait staff is extremely useful. The music is a great addition that they have, and usually you can spot people enjoying it with wine and cheese. Overall, between the cigarette breaks of the musicians and the mixed crowd around the building, this place is fun!

I immediately liked the ambiance as soon as I stepped in. The live music was good and the coffee was great! I ordered a café de olla which is traditional way to drink coffee where I’m from but it was so much better here you could taste the cinnamon in it. Wonderful coffee. My wife had a champagne that she liked it was recommend by the bartender. Overall it was great

A unique place! I was pleasantly surprised at the diversity of the people, the selection of beverages, such as coffee, blended iced coffee, wines & beer, & the good food. On the night we went, there was live music & it really set the mood for the evening. I especially like the atmosphere the décor creates. Seems like a really laid-​back scene. This made me happy. Not a bad place to check out if you’re feeling adventurous.

This place seems neat… and hey, what else does Baytown have to offer in the old part of the city? But seriously, it’s a little pricy, and the place was dead on a Friday night. But the guy working there was friendly and the atmosphere was cool. Few other places where you can get beer and fancy coffee drinks at the same location… but this place is more expensive than a bar or a Starbucks.

I have been here twice. I first came like many others for the groupon but went back because I really love the atmosphere. I believe they have live music on both Fridays and Saturdays so far without cover. The wine menu is great and I am really happy a classy little place like this opened up in Baytown. We’ll be back!

Went back for their Groupon special. Very good but would be over-​priced without the discount.
There was a cheese, fruit, dip, nut, and bread appetizer plate for two — nice cheeses. For main courses had a panini and a flatbread pizza, very good. The deserts were good. We splurged on beer and wine. Nice big wine goblet with a side glass to refill for the price.
The recorded music was good classic popular jazz this time.

Probably the best night out place in Baytown. This place is located on the new Texas Ave. The old building and interior design make this a great place to just sit and stare at the architecture.
The wine selection is the best in Baytown, and perhaps beyond. The craft beer selection is great, with rare gems being offered. This is the place for craft beer in Baytown. Finally Baytown has a place that offers what we have to travel to Houston for.
The food is panini’s, flat bread pizzas, and cheese plates. This is a place to try really cool food, but it is not a restaurant. Those wanting a restaurant should visit other cool places in Baytown early in the evening, and then come here.
A great place to meet in a pub like atmosphere, date night, or to come listen to live music. The live music scene on Texas Ave. is coming along nicely.

I used the $ 20 for $ 40 Groupon that is supposed to be for 1 appetizer, 2 paninis, and 2 desserts. Well, they said they don’t have appetizers and neither of the waitstaff seemed to know what to do with a Groupon. There was a wine tasting that we showed up in time for, which was tasty with very large samples, but the person hosting it didn’t know much about the samples. To his credit I think he was thrown into it last minute.
The paninis were great but it was an ordeal to get napkins. Finally my date just went up to the counter to get them. Also, our waitress left mid meal without telling us she was done for the night and we never got a check — went up to the counter for that, too. I’m pretty sure the Groupon discount wasn’t even applied (my date paid but I glanced at the total and it was pretty high).
The ambiance is nice and the food and wine was delicious though. I’m glad there is a place like this in Baytown although I’m not so sure I’ll be returning.

Amazing selections of coffee, espresso, and wine selections. The cheese and meats are high quality, and the staff are knowledgeable with their pairings. I highly recommend this place for late night hang outs after a date or a place to lounge with friends after a dinner/​movie.
