We go for the cheese steals which are great. Also, the dog can cone since we sit on outdoor benches. Maybe they should invest in some shade though…

Very disappointing. I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl and it seems like they are trying to cut corners everywhere they can. I would prefer to pay a little more and get more than 3 slices of meat in my sandwich then have a sandwich that is all bread and lettuce. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the cheese steaks are still decent even if they don’t bother cutting them in half.

The place is a little dated. Pricing is a little on the high side especially for the Ice Cream. Good Parking evenings can get busy. Nothing special about the place.

Tried the chili-cheese dog and the fried raviolis — both sub-par. Quick turn-around on food. They’re known for their cheesesteaks according to the kids who work there — so I guess I’d recommend trying those instead.

This place is cute, very reasonable with pricing, and large portions but the food is just not that great. Theres nothing special about the food here. My grilled cheese was plain, just one type of cheese and wasnt fully melted. The manhattan clam chowder was a nice size, had small amounts of clam, but honestly i feel they overdid it with salt. I basically tasted salt in the soup. My friend’s italian hoagie was huge, but skimp on meat and wasnt that exciting. Maybe if youre at the beach and need something cheap and quick to eat this is your spot but ehh, didnt impress me. oh yeah and cash only, theres an ATM outside and they will charge you $ 3!

I have been coming to Dom’s ice cream for 16 years and have enjoyed every single cone of it. The swirl cone is one of the highlights of my vacation on LBI and intend on coming back for years to come. I love Dom’s and highly recommend it to everyone!

I love this place so much. Grew up summering at LBI and would eat here all the time. I always get the grilled cheese, cheese fries, and brownie barge!

We decided to try this place, definitely will not be back. Ordered hot dog & fries. Hot dog came out yellow, my son refused to eat it. No fried came with the order, I had the fries separately??? Hamburger & fries: Hamburger looked typical. Oh again no fries, Had to order them separately??? Chicken tenders basket; That one came with fries, but only a few. When I went back to fix the fries issue they went through the orders to check the order and told me I wasn’t charged for the fries. I paid $ 26 already, they proceeded to charge me an additional $ 4 for order of fries. All I can say is that was $ 30 down the drain. Avoid this place if you can, and don’t eat inside, we where greeted with a puddle of mirky water inside the front door that looks like it leaked out from the kitchen. You’ve been warned.

The best on LBI. We go numerous times for Chicken Cheese Steaks and of course the ice cream. Sit outside for that old time experience.

We always make Dom’s our move in day dinner. While it is steak sandwiches and burgers, they are great. Best greasy drive in food on LBI.

Nothing beats Dom’s for a good old Philly Cheese steak. They’ve been doing it the right way for at least 25 years! Meat’s not super high-quality, but it’s cooked on the grill and gets good and crispy. The cheese is flavorful, and their bread is what really makes it. Add on some peppers and onions to really make it. The sandwich is huge; I can eat half and have a nice second meal afterwards. Pair it with the birch beer. If you’re drunk or just starving, consider the foot-long hot dog as well – crunchy skin, served on the same roll as the cheese steak. I loved their décor – I hope it hasn’t been ruined by Sandy – old surfing photos on the inside along with some coin operated arcade games, and a spot to sit outside in the shade as well.

While driving back from taking the children to see a show at The Surflight we stumbled upon Dom’s not because we wanted to but because the rain from thunderstorms this past Friday made many of the side streets in Beach Haven impassable because of flooding to anything smaller than an M1 Abrams tank. We got there about fifteen minutes before the food side closed and initially the lady at the counter was not going to take our order but she changed her mind and we were last order for the night. The food was done about 10 minutes later and things were about what you would expect at a little beach tourist dive like this. The chicken fingers were fried lightly and were surprisingly good. The cheeseburger was done perfectly and the only real complaint would be that it was quite small for the price that was charged. The two cheesesteaks were very good for what was in there but like the classic Wendy’s commercials of the 80’s we were saying«Where’s the Beef»? The cheesesteak rolls were huge and the amount of meat given compared to the size of the roll was flat out pathetic. The ice cream side had a fair amount of flavors from Turkey Hill and it was doing steady business the entire time we were there as that side stays open later. Overall Dom’s was an OK stop, quite expensive though with 2 cheesesteaks — a cheeseburger — 3 chicken fingers — 2 drinks equaled almost $ 35, considering that we were starved and the state of the side roads off of Long Beach Blvd. But if we were in the area again, I definitely look for something with a bit more bang for the buck and something that closed a bit later on a Friday in season.

Doms is a staple of lbi cuisine. Amazing cheesesteaks, hot dogs, and clam sandwiches should be a must for anyone staying in the Brant Beach area.

The jumbo hot dogs come on a torpedo roll. I like to put fried green peppers on it. They also have fried clams.

If you are looking for fast food or ice cream, you won’t be disappointed. Burgers are good and so is the fish sandwich. They offer RC Cola which is a nice change from pepsi or coke. Very casual, picnic table type feel. Been coming here since I was a kid, but it’s only been dom’s for the last 10 or 15 years.
