This place was ok. Sandwiches were ok. Service was ok. They wouldn’t let me use the bathroom(clearly visible) which was annoying. Also was initially charged $ 41 for two sandwiches, chips and two drinks. Sounded ridiculous so I said something. Took a few mins but the clerk realized shed overcharged me by about $ 15. Just kinda annoying I guess. With lots of other sub shops on the island, I’d just go somewhere else next time.

I’ve been going to LBI since the 70s. I was on the beach in Brant Beach when news came over the radio that Elvis Presley died. Like most people, I gravitated towards the same places we’d found, loved and made our own summer classics. This Memorial Day weekend, we decided to only eat at places we’d never been before. That meant Subs Up! We weren’t that hungry, so I just got the 6″ subs. These are not Wawa 6″ subs. These are footballs! Before Brady let the air out. So good. So, so good. Among the best hoagies I ever had. This place and Subs and Such are neck and neck for best hoagies on LBI. Subs Up is Soup-Nazi city. Not too friendly, cash only, stern looks. But man, great hoagies. First timers, but we shall return… hungry.

Love this place. Great subs, fresh bread and a reasonable amount of cold cuts on it. Bagels aren’t that bad either. Go here every year have yet to be disappointed.

This place is also a Bagels & Beyond place, so this review is only about the subs. Good, solid sub place. I had the chicken cordon bleu wrap, which took a little while to make(they had to cook the chicken — but I’m not complaining!). The curly fries were also pretty darn tasty. Cash only, but there’s an ATM inside the place.

I’m playing at Daddy O’s every Saturday through the summer, and Subs Up has been my primary go to place for food in Brant Beach. Everything is SUPER fresh and delicious. The staff is amazing and so helpful… and the prices(being from NYC) for what you order can’t be beat! I LOVEIT at Subs Up. You will to. Go there. xxoxo CurlyKaren

Good Subs! Offer 8″ and 16″ long subs. Couldn’t even finish an 8″ sub. Nice size hoggie/hero/sub, whatever you call it. Nice Selection. Only open until 6pm. And found out hard way. Definitely going back.
