An «okay» place. We booked a room for the weekend of OCT2&3 «Chowderfest» event — which sadly was Hurricane Joachin weekend. They would not refund our deposit money, despite the State of Emergency declared in NJ. So we went. Main roads flooded periodically, empty town, Chowderfest cancelled. No discount offered for our trouble. Granted, we probably should’ve stayed home — but forfeiting half of the cost didn’t seem right. Let’s put it this way: they don’t seem very concerned about the customer experience, or keeping customers for future business. I sure would try to take care of my customers in a tough situation — wouldn’t you?

For LBI this place is great. Stayed for Labor Day and didnt pay an arm and a leg like most places that weekend. Close to the beach, nice deck for us to dry our beach stuff, free beach passes and friendly staff. Rooms need a remodel but so do nearly all the hotels in LBI. I would stay again.

We just stayed here last week. The pool was wonderful, I must admit. The wi-fi was also appreciated as free in the rooms. There aren’t that many hotels in the area, and I was disappointed with the cleanliness and care of the rooms. When we arrived, no one had cleaned out the refrigerator in our room, so I had to take the take-out and water bottle from the previous guest to the trash outside of the room. There was also a tissue on the side of the bed from the previous occupant, which was also not appreciated. The carpets were dirty, and I didn’t feel comfortable walking around without my shoes on, at first. Our sheets did not seem to be changed for the whole four nights were there, and at night, there was a lot of door-slamming and noise from the hallways. It was not a restful or clean experience. In another locale, the price for this hotel would have been much lower.
