This is the only place I can shop. The staff is amazing and you can tell they try super hard to find the latest treads. I still wear clothes from 2006 because they know how to pick stuff that will be in style for a long time. They usually stretch me into trying stuff on that I would never think of. They made me look like a million dollars :)

Look-the rating says it all man! So, my husband and I went into this store because he’s all into raw and selvage denim. Man, let me say, who beats this place? A little boutique sitting quietly over near Saks 5th in Beachwood mall. Not only do they sell great items from Rag & Bone, A.P.C. and others, their customer service is top notch! I mean-they served us drinks while we were in there! Good prices + a great sale+ excellent customer service= very happy customer in me! We happily spent some of our cash here. I only wish they were in DC!

The best denim in Cleveland, and the only place that carries quality raw denim here that I know of. Brands like APC, Rag & Bone, Wings + Horns stand up to boutique offerings in big cities. Def better than anything here in Cleveland at Nordstrom or Saks. A little pricey, but a good pair of jeans or two are worth the investment.

Strong selection of clothing. I wish I was a bit cooler to pull off some of the threads, but that’s on me, not them. I just got a gift card there and even that was cool looking.

Believe it or not, after living in Cleveland Heights for over a year and walking past this boutique every day, I’ve never actually been inside. Now that I live in Ohio City, I really wish that I would’ve ventured over to Brigade. I mean, at that time I wouldn’t have been able to afford anything, but I know how much I would have liked looking around. What an amazing selection of independent brands of womens and mens clothing. I stopped by Brigade on a very snowy afternoon, stomped outside so not to track inside and tried to look as chic as I could with a bajillion layers on.(Note: this is impossible… I looked like a drowned, lumpy rat.) Anyways, as I walked in I noticed that I immediately wanted everything. Wow. Although the«industrial look» isn’t always really my style, I could have definitely worked some of these amazing pieces into my life. I especially loved the jewelry and accessories. Yes, it’s pricey. It’s a boutique though, people! I could definitely see this as one of those places I would go to treat myself to an «investment piece». Just FYI — this is how us ladies justify spending lots of dollars on something we really want. We just call it an investment. I didn’t get to purchase anything while I was there, but I’m sure when I go back(and it will be sooner than later) they’ll be getting a 5th star from this lady. The staff is super helpful and very friendly as well. I can’t wait to spend a little more time checking everything out and putting a little dent into my bank account. I’m sure I’ll also get a parking ticket from those pesky Cleveland Heights cops too… Sigh

I only got to come in here once, which is truly lamentable. I found this store because they’re the only place in Ohio that sells men’s Rag and Bone and I LOVELOVELOVE me some Rag and Bone. Upon entering, I was amazed at just how awesome and chill the place was. The staff was friendly AND helpful AND inviting. What a concept among high-end boutiques! Brigade’s clothing selection centers around designers that you don’t normally find in Ohio(And sometimes very few other places outside as well) Nom De Guerre, Rag and Bone, and Hyden Yoo come to mind.. These are also interspersed with some great lines that are more common and a bit less fashion-forward, but will integrate easily into any wardrobe. Lines such as G-star Raw, diesel, and APC. Now, yes, these are high quality clothes that one might refer to as «pieces».. but guess what homes, you’re not 16 any more. Levi’s 550s and that jersey no longer count as fashion. The statement you’re making is «I don’t know, I don’t care, I’m took lazy to find out more, pass me a beer *burp*» You need to look like you’ve got a clue and a few bucks in your pocket.. now bear with me. You CAN overhaul your entire wardrobe with one stop here.. I’m sure they’d love it, in fact, but you don’t have to. Maybe just one pair of pants that actually fit you, are cut well, and hide the donuts you’ve been eating. You’ll be amazed how far one investment-grade piece of clothing will go in making you look and feel more confident. And frankly, after shopping all over Ohio, I can say with all of my confidence, that this is the *ONLY* place to go for that one piece. In short, suck it up, suck it in, and head to coventry. you, your girl/boy friend, boss, co-workers, and everyone around you will be glad that you did.

I really love this store. Why did I give it 4 stars instead of 5? Because I cannot afford to love this store. They aren’t gouging or anything, it’s just high-end stuff. And I do not make high-end money. Great examples of the best of East Coast fashion… fairly subdued, and lots of black/white/grey. Which is golden for me, since I’m not the dude who can be thrown into a closet full of color and come out anything short of a disaster. And it’s the home base of Cleveland-based fashion line«Wrath Arcane» which I’ve really developed a serious fetish for. I’ve managed to score a pair of their jeans and a scoodie so far. What the hell is a «scoodie», you ask? It’s a scarf. With a hood. Hell yeah. I love the damn thing. Dan is the man at Brigade, and he’s pretty much always the dude behind the counter. A solid guy, knows his stuff, and treats you like his bestest buddy from the moment you walk in the door. I’ve caught Brian O’Neill(owner) in there once or twice and he’s a sterling dude. Great people, great clothes, and great service. Hell, when you buy something they wrap it up and carry it to the door for you! Made me feel all special. Like I was buying jeans in First Class or something.
