More often than not 7 – 11 convenience stores are visited due to the need for coffee or gasoline more so than the need to for an experience. And for most 7 – 11 stores that would be fine, but not for this one. You see, I’ve had two extraordinary experiences at this location and I would like to share them with you so that hopefully you too can have an experience of your own. The first starts off with an early day at work. 3:00 A.M. to be exact. Feeling extremely tired I decided to make a pit stop at this store on the way into work. I was having trouble keeping my eyes open on the road and needed to remedy this problem as soon as possible. So as one normally would, I parked my car, entered the store and made my way to the cooler to get myself an energy drink. But today was a bit different. The store was cleaner than normal, the lights brighter and the coolers were stunning. Now, normally I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the upkeep of the coolers, but the lighting in them was just phenomenal. The cans were glowing today, as if to tell me «It’s ok, you will make it to work safely and more awake than ever before today!». From that moment forward I knew my day would go well. And with that revelation I grabbed my drink, paid for it and went on to to make it safely to work with no incident what so ever. My second best experience came on a day just like any other day. Except on this day I got into my vehicle only to discover it was a touch on the smelly side. My first thought was to run back inside to get the febreeze. But after some some careful deliberation I decided it best to visit 7 – 11 to purchase an air freshener. When I arrived I found the normal assortment of air fresheners. The scented trees and the little circle things that hang from the air vents. But then I saw it out of the corner of my eye. A large mouth bass. Not a real one, but an air freshener one. Immediately I thought about how I could use this as a conversation starter when people rode with me and there were awkward silences. So I quickly grabbed it off the shelf along with a snickers and headed to the counter to pay for my prize. I was pleased to discover the fish hung perfectly from my rear view mirror. Now, several months later, the piney scent coming from my fish has long since vanished. But alas, he still hangs from my mirror vigilantly watching over my car and I presume fending off would be car jackers as well. Those two experiences are why I reward this establishment with a 5 out of 5. And I hope you will do this same after you visit here as well.

This 7-Eleven is conveniently located at the intersection of Route 28 and U.S. 17. Good place to refuel, as there are gas pumps here, as well as refuel the body — as all the normal 7 – 11 convenience store goodness is available here.
