Backyard Fun Store

Stopped in to look at their wood burning fireplace inserts. Carried brand with good reputation and price was competitive so decided to buy. That was a mistake. Have since realized owner does not know the product. Has to call installer to get answers to customer questions. Then we had family emergency and will be out of town for extended period of time. We asked to cancel order, and were told impossible unless willing to pay essentially cost of insert. Would have expected would try to work with us, maybe offer to sell to another customer if possible. Nope, not that level of customer service. Thought would try to at least see if could find time to install before end of year. Called their installer. Talked to him once. Since then have left messages to no avail. Called owner. He will have installer call me. Should have asked when since that was a week ago and have heard nothing. Maybe they know their summer products, but I would shop elsewhere for fireplace inserts and stoves. Wish I had.

Bob and John at The Backyard Fun Store are helpful and knowledgeable. I will be back.
