Top Nails II

Walked in, one person in line ahead of me, wait time was only prob 5 to 10 minutes, was happy with that. Girl did a great job, full gel set, oval shape. Took her time to get shape right, make sure they matched length, and helped me pick out a color when I wanted to change what I picked. Place was nice in comparison to past couple places I’ve been to for nails.
A different nail tech did play some video on her phone with yelling/​cursing while was there, but will be back.
I wasn’t aware of the issues mentioned, but didn’t notice anything while I was there, other than the guy working next to me taking a smoke break while working on the woman’s nails. Thought that was unprofessional (and I’m a former smoker, would have been mad).

If you want you nails to look clean, and like they were just done– don’t let the guy w the eye brow piercing do you toes or nails. Especially if u can’t tolerate the smell of cigarettes considering he went out twice for a smoke while I got a mani pedi.
I had to ask multiple times for him to straighten my nails, fix the polish. This is straight up a mature shit. This is the first /‘d hopefully, last time I go to the salon and NOT tip the person doing my nails

I know there was some controversy surrounding this salon, however i received two recommendations to go here for eyebrows. It was pretty nasty out yesterday so it wasn’t full at all and I was told to go straight back, thankfully before the lady started I asked if they took cards and she replied cash only. So I had to drive to the ShopRite in the shopping center to get cash. I was a little annoyed, but only bc I didn’t see any sign that stated that and had I not asked before hand then it could’ve been an awkward situation when she was done. Any way I get the cash and come back and there’s a lady getting her eyebrows done, (now I must say the older lady who was doing the eyebrows yesterday was very meticulous so it took a little longer than it usually does for an eyebrow wax.) so I decided to wait. More than halfway through my wait another customer comes over and waits as well. So when the customer who was in the chair was done I got up to go next and the lady actually pointed for he lady behind me and said she’s next. I’m not sure if she was sitting up front or getting her nails done whatever the case may be she definitely was not over there waiting with me the whole time. If the other lady had not insisted I go first I would’ve had to wait almost 30 mins after I already waited a little over 15 mins. I’m not sure if this was an honest mistake or of she knew this lady but it didn’t sit well with me, especially since that’s one of the issues mentioned in the story that’s been circulating. As far as my eyebrows go, the lady did a great job and was very neat. Lastly when I went to pay the $ 8 with a $ 10 bill she didn’t offer change. Even though I was going to say keep it, it was rude to assume she was entitled. All in all, she did a good job but the atmosphere and my own experience might prevent me from coming again soon.

I’ve been coming here for quite some time I even have been to their other location top nails in new castle. They’re both legit. They do nice eyebrows and nails. Lately they’ve been getting a lot of backlash but I have never really experienced any negatives at this place.
