I have picked up several lunches here and have never been disappointed! Everything is sourced out locally and is incredibly fresh! I had the Cuban sandwich and it is big enough for either two meals or two people. I really look forward to lunch on Sunday because of this place!

The meatball sub is simply one of the best sandwiches to ever touch my lips. The meatballs and sauce were clearly made fresh and with the best ingredients. If you are in the area do yourself a favor and stop by this unique spot and try it out. You will not be disappointed.

Our whole family loves this place! The Berry Salad with pork is our favorite! The salad is so fresh, and the pork is absolutely phenomenal!!! If you are there when they have the special white bean soup with kale and andouille sausage, it is a MUST!!!

Finally got here, having intended to make it before now. I had the piggy and a side salad which was excellent. It is dressed with fig preserves, beautifully prepared and presented. Side salad with balsamic, goat cheese. Others in my party had the pimento cheese and pork, excellent as well. This is a beautiful setting and prepared in the truck with covered outside seating. Additional sitting is in progress indoors and looks to be ready very soon. Very clean, organized, and well appointed. If you want to take someone here for a business lunch, it would impress them that there is a farm fresh alternative and yes… in Beaumont. The other would be Katherines in the Mildred building, so an out of town business guest would enjoy unique and famous architecture as well. Great gem, and plan to support. Strongly recommend.

My gosh the food here is fabulous. The pork is smoked on site and is raised on site getting fat on pecans. It is pricey, but food is really good. I had a chicken salad sandwich that was really tasty. I think it was made with fresh tarragon and that is just how it tasted. My son had a smoked ham sandwich that was really tasty. The ham was tender and had just the right smoky flavor. It would be great if the sandwiches came with a salad or fruit as a side instead of chips.

Wow. I tried the Cubano sandwich for lunch, and it was absolutely delicious. The pork was tender and juicy, the aioli was flavorful, and the bread was so good! It IS a little pricier than I expected, but I think it was worth it since I got two meals out of my one sandwich. If you don’t have a huge appetite, I’d suggest splitting a sandwich in order to save some money. The fresh lemonade is very good, and the service is very friendly also! I look forward to the construction of the new restaurant to be completed so we can eat inside on very hot summer days.

Amelia is constantly evolving, not just on the menu, but the experience itself. You could say it looks more like a construction site than a restaurant right now, but don’t let that deter you from venturing out to try one of Chef Hannah’s latest creations. Whether you are a fiend for carbs or like to eat on the lighter side, you will find something delicious to eat. The Nutpig Cuban and the Wetpig are two of my favorites, and I always order the pork chops when they are on the menu. If you’re lucky enough to visit on a day when they are baking cookies, do yourself a favor and get one because they are delicious as well. Overall, I’ve tried almost every item on the menu, and I have not been disappointed with anything. I’ve read some reviews where people have dogged the price of the food, saying it isn’t worth it, but they aren’t serving Spam on Wonder Bread. There are plenty of places in Beaumont to eat on the cheap. Amelia is a place to go to eat delicious food, made with quality ingredients, that’s full of flavor you will never forget!

2nd update —today, Oct 10th, 2015…[second visit as well] Chef Hannah has read this review back in August and face-booked messaged me to come in and get a complimentary lunch on her. today, i did just that. it was a prefect day to be outside… staff were busy setting up for a private party later in the day… so, i didnt get to met Chef today… but, i did take her up on the offer. i got the farmers harvest salad with pork [$ 18 value] and… WOW — it was heaven! THANKYOUCHEF, for your appreciation. keep up the good work. __________________________________________________________________ UPDATE — August 10, 2015 — AFM credited the sandwich when they read what happened. THAT’s how you do it! ________________________________________________________________ let me just say… ive been trying for almost a YEAR to eat at this farm to table food truck… and i was super stoked to finally make it saturday, august 8th. this is such a cute place… this food truck sits on familiar ground… the 100 year old pecan farm owned by the Cronin’s off dishman & major — a place that ive grown up around –little did i know, they are farmers. i decided to get a to-go order because it was after 1p, they close at 2p, all tables were full, and it was about 97 degrees outside! [sidebar – awesome chef monica cobb resigned from AFM, march 2015. now hails… chef, hannah persia] i had the BMT Farmer’s Market Bowl [salad] all the stuff had come from the farmers market that day… eggplant, scallions, garlic, tomatoes, cucumbers, basil, pickled onions, and goat cheese… with homemade slow-food sourdough bites, homemade AFAM vinagrette AND free range grilled chicken… But, there wasn’t any! [sad face] having waited 20 minutes… and sitting at the back of the food truck… i knew that chef announces to staff when they run out of ingredients and then they advise the customer… that didn’t happen. so, i think it was just a mistake… oversight. so, for $ 15.50…and not being a vegan [insert humor] it was a tad disappointing. the salad however was FANTASTIC — everything about it was awesome. i also tried The Wet Pig [sandwich] thin sliced, slow roasted leg of nutpig [i was like… nut pig?!!] but, as it turns out… these little piggys that they raise… they eat pecans! which makes them very healthy, more lean… served on a ginny roll. with au jus, melted baby swiss and horseradish cream — OINK! soo good. $ 13.50 while i waited i tried their homemade lemonade — tasty and refreshing. all in all, with tip…$ 40 lunch… very pricey… and, i didnt get the meat for my salad… so, maybe they will add more protein next trip… and yes, there will be a next time BUYLOCAL. SUPPORTLOCALFARMERS MUCHAPPRECIATIONTO – cronins and chef persia

It’s stationary Banh Mon. Same truck, same cook, same menu. I love that it’s farm to table which I guess makes up for the fact that sandwiches are ~$ 13. After having had Banh Mon style sandwiches from Vietnamese owned sandwich shops in SF, I love how authentic AFM’s are. Overall, great lunch spot in Beaumont. Can’t wait to see what else they do with the land and food!

Amazing lunch spot! On the recommendation of a local(we are just visiting the area), we checked out this farm-to-table gourmet food truck. It’s not your typical food truck experience… the setting is on a 100-year-old pecan farm, and they have built a very nice covered seating area for all the guests. The menu is simple, but extremely fresh and all seasonal. I had a honey-curry-shrimp banh mon style sando, and the wifey had an amazing farmer’s salad with heirloom red chili spiced pecan-orange-rosemary chèvre, Bokchoy flowers, and lots more ridiculously tasty stuff. Yeah, it’s like that… get some!
