Pita Pit

I love Pita Pit when I’m looking for something other than the standard burger/​wings/​steak/​fried food in the area. Falafel is pretty darn awesome, as is the Mediterranean chicken. Calipers are all up there on the menu, and there are more veggie options and less carb overload then subway. My o ly complaint is staff who behave inprofessionally, outside on their phones, seem irritated I’ve showed up for a late lunch etc. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not ALL the staff, but inconsistent staff take this review from a 5 to a 4.

The food is okay. Main problem is staff and management. Every time we go, I get the same thing but the staff changes their mind each time on what the rules are for how many veggies I get, how much it is, etc even though it’s set on the menu. Very inconsistent. Not a fan of the indoor area, it’s dimly lit and nobody is ever there. Christian music is the radio station they play, so not for everyone.

Great service and great food! The new guy is really personable. The last 2 times I was here I wasn’t impressed with the service. Much better this time.

All on the plus side of three stars. A well crafted roll-​em-​up that doesn’t sparkle with super ingredients. Standard pepperoncini, hard cured black olives and iceberg lettuce. You get the picture.
It is best to order the Mediterranean flavored meat (if you are a carnivore) because the coatings and cooking technique adds a bit of savor to the flavor.
The pita (bread) is not as thick/​robust as those I buy out in the wild. Perhaps the thinner bread makes the sandwich healthier. Again, perhaps. Also, even if you order a standard pita, the staff will make-​em the way you like-​em.
If you’re in this neck of the woods, it’s worth a stop. Otherwise, there is a more authentic and tastier alternative in the area.

I’ve had the falafel pita and chicken pita. It’s kind of a Subway-​style place and the food is good. I wish the offered sides instead of just chips. Like a salad or something. Overall, it’s pretty tasty and quick. Staff is super nice

Even though it’s an extremely Americanized version of pitas, it’s super delicious. My favorite is the Chicken Souvlaki. Don’t expect strong Greek flavors… I don’t think the tzatziki sauce has any parsley in it, but I just have them add cilantro to make up for it. Load that sucker up with plenty of veggies and you have an extremely filling meal.
The service is very friendly and professional, plus the keep the place very clean. It’s nice to finally see Beaumont getting some healthy fast food options.
