Del Taco

It Del Taco. Never amazing but never terrible. The only thing bad about this one is the location. Unless you’re coming from hemet you have to go through a ton of lights to get there. It’s a shame as my laziness usually outweighs my hunger when it comes time to choose.

I’m glad they were open late. Is the food always cold when you get it?

Cause after being in the ER for 10 hours, I like to play chicken with the grim reaper and make a beeline for the nearest fast food joint, this happens to be on the way home. Hey, I haven’t eaten for 14 hours, throw me a bone here, this was one of the only places that was still open at this time of night. Got my usual grilled chicken classic burrito with fries and a coke, my order was correct, it was tasty and the service was quick, fast and efficient. I was in and out under 5 mins flat with the drive thru. It was 2 in the morning and nobody was around, you can’t really go wrong with that scenario.

I stop by here a lot on my way back from the casino, it is usually late night. The food is fresh the service is outstanding. Tonight was the exception. I don’t know who was working your drive thru, but she was rude. There is no need for rudeness, I was polite and cordial, but you crossed the line lady. Don’t snap at me because I wanted to check my order before I pulled away. And it was wrong. I think you have lost a customer. I didn’t catch your name, but I do have my receipt. Dated 02÷05÷15 time 04:10 am. Order #21 Host: Velia, Cashier Stephanie. I don’t need to come back to be treated so rudely. Take your argumentative attitude and go find a job at the DMV, where people like you are the norm.

Worst Del Taco I have ever been to. They only got 1 star because I can’t give 0. My wife and I stopped to get food for the family. The experience while there was decent. Customer service was not special, but not bad. When we got home and started to pass out the food we were missing 2 items. Mind you my daughter is very picky and orders her burger plain… meat, cheese and bun. They forgot her fries. My epic burrito and her burger had evwrything on it! Hope do you make that many mistakes in one order. I decided to give them a call so to allow them the chance to correct this. A woman answered. I began to tell her about the mistakes they had made and I was hung up on. I was bot upset or yelling. I attempted to call back numerous times and they decided they just weren’t going to answer. Although We live in Beaumont and we love Del Taco we will never visit this location again. They really should live the values they post on the wall.

Service is nice and food is good. The fresca bowls are surprisingly good. Love that drive through is opened 24 hours because beaumont doesn’t have much late night opened fast food places.

Hooray for clean bathrooms (1 guys and 1 girls).
We decided to get a snack. 2 chicken soft tacos and 2 regular tacos for $ 4. The staff is friendly and the tables in the restaurant were clean and sauces on the table were well stocked.
What was the turnoff was the amount of flies in the restaurant.
Lost my appetite…

Del Taco is Del Taco. The only thing that can go wrong is too much red sauce, too much salt, stale shells or over fried fries.
This review is based on the service I received from the Drive-​Thru on Monday ⁷⁄₂₁. For it only being 7am, the woman who took my order was courteous and the customer service I received was excellent.

CLASSIC GRILLED LETTUCE BURRITO: I ordered a Classic Grilled Chicken Burrito and ended up with a Lettuce burrito with a touch of chicken. not sure if this burrito comes with beans or not, but I don’t recall seeing/​tasting any. oh and a finger tip of cheese. This was a very depressing meal to eat on the road. it was too late before I realized what I was given. Sad… first three bites were lettuce only. The Female employee was very nice, but it all comes down to the food. They F’d me in the drive-​thru.

I’ve only been to a Del Taco three times. The food is adequate as far as fast food goes. I’m not a huge fan of the way they flavor their meat though… it tastes like chorizo and that stuff is nasty!
Drive thru is always fast and friendly.
Hate the bathroom placement, so awkward and weird…

It’s a franchise… same thing, different place!
I was happy with my experience and would go back.

I eat fast food once or twice a year, usually somewhere off the 5 or 10 freeway. I have pretty low expectations, because of the nature of the beast and because you never know what you’ll get with a franchise. This particular Del Taco made me wonder if I should be less of a snob. (Until I remembered the feedlots.)
We stopped in Beaumont for a snack on our way to the desert. The gas station bathroom was occupied for an alarmingly long time so we headed to Del Taco.
The bathroom was the first thing I saw when I walked in – very convenient! And very clean! When I came out, I saw I was the only customer. The employees (4 of them — quite a few for a small place) were taking the free time to clean and prep rather than chit chat. The guy who helped me was very nice and made the tacos and churro fresh. And the food was solid. It was still fast food, but the taco shells weren’t stale, the soda was fizzy, and the churro was warm and cinnamony.
Perhaps most importantly, their A grade and fastidious cleanliness gave me confidence that I wouldn’t spend my trip sick. If you’re on the 10 and hungry, you could do a lot worse than this particular Del Taco.
