Edward L Heartfield, MD

This would be the second doctor I would go to see in Beaumont. Dr. Heartfield is in his 70’s and seemed a little frail to me but he seemed like he had a lot of experience and that’s why I went ahead with him to proceed with the surgery that I need pretty badly. He assured me that he even taught this procedure many times to students. So I waited 2 mo. Before he could do my surgery. When the time came the anesthesiologist had some concerns about my heart so Dr. Heartfield cancels my surgery & sends me to his heart doctor and if he says I’m good to go he would proceed with the surgery. So I go & have a stress test done on my heart and I’m all good to go. My heart is fine. To make a long story short & after $ 700.00 later, he refuses to do the surgery… This guy has done nothing but waste my time and money. I certainly do not recommend this doctor at all. He did not even show me the respect that i deserved by telling me himself that he couldn’t do it for what ever reason. He had his staff tell me and he would not even speak to me at all. Real professional of him. All I have to say is that I’m putting this out there so no one else is done wrong by this guy. That’s 2 doctors in beaumont that I would not recommend. The search continues for a decent Doctor. #disappointed
