Worst corporate Verizon store I’ve ever been to. I came in with a glass screen protector to replace and a damaged charger. Screen protector 1st: they took off the old glass and I purchased a new one because I dropped my phone and it broke. Btw these glass screen protectors are awesome! When the rep in the store handed me my phone back with the new screen there were 17 bubbles in it, SEVENTEEN!!! I told him I needed him to get the bubbles out. Over the course of an hours he gave the phone back several times with bubbles everywhere and said he couldn’t get them out because I’d broken the previous glass screen… what??? The glass screen protector was designed to be broken and replaced rather than the actual screen. I kept giving it back to him and after about an hour I gave up. He was down to 2 bubbles so I guess I’ll have to deal with that. Replacement charger: I am from Washington and am in Texas for the next few weeks. When I unplugged my charger from the wall the prongs stuck in the wall – really weird. It was obviously a factory issue with my $ 40 charger. I called the Verizon corporate store in Washington and they said«just bring it in and we’ll replace it». It was purchased recently. Washington told me to just go into a corporate store in TX and they’ll exchange it no problem. Well, not this Verizon store in Beaumont they wouldn’t exchange it. All they did was keep trying to sell me a new one! Horrible store, incompetent and rude staff. Not a customer friendly store. I will never go back to that location.

I was due for an upgrade on one of our phones, and I decided to go with the IPhone 6.(plus). I placed my order online, and knowing that I was going to be paying $ 30+ a month for the phone, I halved our data plan to make up for the difference. Then I got my first bill. Holy Moly! What should have been pretty much a wash, with adding the equipment but decreasing the data, didn’t help. The bill was about $ 40 over what I had been paying. I was hospitalized when the new phone came in, so I couldn’t go to the store for a week or so, but when I did, they too said my bill would actually be about $ 20 less than what I was paying due to dropping so much data and they couldn’t understand why«the stupid people» you talk to when you call Verizon flubbed it up so bad. Well guess what? My bill is $ 40 a month more and will continue to be so. I can’t dispute it. I have nothing in writing, just what they said. I’ve been with Verizon since Jeebus was a baby, but no more 2 year contracts with them. PFFFFT Verizon.

What an awfully non-customer focused store! I had the worst experience at this location while I was visiting during the Holidays. I’ll excuse the hour wait because it was just before Christmas, but I won’t excuse the way I was treated by the rep. I can’t remember his name(probably due to the anger block I’ve put on the day), but he was so beyond unhelpful that I can’t put it into words. After the long wait, the rep had to use 3 different iPads before he finally gave up and walked over to a pc behind the counter(not exactly a big selling point for the iPads btw). he then proceeded to tell me that I couldn’t «upgrade» my son’s phone, even though his contract was up, without changing my data plan. I had just done this with my daughter’s phone at our local store in Round Rock, literally 2 weeks before in the same situation with the same phone. His final suggestion to me was for me to go to a different provider if I didn’t like the Verizon policies… so I left in an extremely heated way. It took everything I had not to explode in anger… luckily my son with with me, or probably would’ve lost it. The only reason I gave a 1 star rating is that there isn’t an option for 0 stars… avoid this store if you have any choice at all. BTW…I went to my local store after Christmas and was in and out in 10 minutes with the new phone.

I have had a handful of good experiences at this Verizon location, however, does one truly expect a wireless carrier to be extremely kind and welcoming? I do, however, get much better service in this store than I do on the 1 – 800 number for Verizon customer service.

I have been here twice this week to deal with phone issues, and each time it has been a great experience. Everyone has been super helpful and lighthearted. Try to go early because it often stays very busy.
