Ugh. I’m almost hesitant to write a review of a BK for fear of ruining any cred I may have, and the nearby Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe should by all rights bury The King under a fathom of cold, damp soil, but The BK® Chef’s Choice Burger is a nice try. I suppose they’re trying to compete with Wendy’s new Hot ‘N Juicy in making fast food burgers somewhat upmarket. Sure it still tasted contrived, and I don’t know if I liked their«grill sauce,» but this wasn’t a bad deal. Even the fries have been given a welcome, crisped, skinless makeover. My respect has increased slightly, but my sardonic, anarchist resentment towards His Majesty remains…
