The Home Depot

Purchased carpet. Disaster. They damaged my home and now over a year later no resolution. NEVER use ACS (American Carpet South) as the installer.

I have had to put up with this store for three years and I am done. Customer Service Counter people are rude. They very seldom have what I’m looking for. Try to get help from the people that work there and they would rather give you grief for asking. I fell bad for the young people that work there because I doubt the experience is worth their time. When you read their reviews on their site they have 99% customer satisfaction which I know is bogus because every one I talk to about this store usually doesn’t have anything good to say.

We always get help when we need it here. We usually have to ask for help, but I prefer asking rather than being pestered by employees the whole time. We have made numerous returns and exchanges and they are always quick easy and efficient. The manager John S. is always very helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need! Thanks Home Depot!

What a joke.
I stopped in to get a carpet runner for my stairs. I wanted some from the roll that they can cut for you. After standing four feet away from two employee’s for five minutes waiting for help, I decided to ask for help being they didn’t seem to want to offer to help me.
When I asked to get some runner cut the associate in flooring replied «I’m the only one here» and walked away. I am not kidding. You think she could have said yes I’ll be able to help in a minute or two. I didn’t mind waiting. Yet to just come out and tell me she is the only one there and walk away was the worst thing she could have done.
So I put my items down, left the store, and went to the Home Depot in Cranberry instead.
We later called to speak to the manager of the store regarding this associates behavior and he didn’t seem to care much about it. He asked if he could help us instead and by then it was too late we already shopped elsewhere.
The sad thing about this is there are a ton of unemployed people out there in the world who would love a job. Home Depot needs to take advantage of this and weed out some of the people who care less about their job.
