I love trying new things and I was told that the fish and chips here were the best I’ll ever have so of course I went ahead and ordered it. However the fish and chips were only… good. Not the best. Granted I am originally from Columbus where some culinary adventures are said to be almost as thrilling as what you find in San Fransisco or LA. But for a small suburb literally the boarder between civilization and farmland; Beevercreek isn’t too bad in the way of good places to eat. Fox and hound definitely is a top place to check out if you are in the area. Heck most people who try their fish and chips probably would disagree with me anyway. The general consensus I’ve seen is EVERYONE loves Fox and Hound around here. Still, I think I’m sticking to my C’bus Braisen Head for best Fish and Chips. :P However, I would definitely go back to Caddy’s. Good service, nice beer selection and a nice atmosphere and decent bar food.

After 12 years of supporting our local caddys, I’ve never been so disappointed, I ordered a gyro which was overly loaded w lettuce &5 sm chunks of meat. I took one bite, it was awful, wasn’t made w lamb slices as in the past, so much shredded lettuce it could’ve been served in a bowl. I was asked if I wanted anything else & said no, the other people I was with were done eating so waitress said she’d take it off the bill. Then returns & asked if I’d like a free dessert, I said I’ve never had a dessert here so sure. When I got home I saw that she didn’t take off the $ 10.49 charge for the gyro so I called. Spoke to the mgr who put me on hold & put the waitress on. After talking to her she said that the charges for the gyro was the chg for the cheesecake & no refund. If I’d have known they were doing business like that I would’ve ordered something, instead I paid $ 10.49 for a piece a cheesecake that she offered for free for inconvenience, I had even given her an $ 8.00 tip. So after 12 yrs of supporting them we will no longer be bringing our family or friends here. Very disappointed with management

Very unorganized. Waited over an hour for our order to be taken. Still don’t have our food. I don’t recommend this place.

Very disappointed with this experience. Service was very poor and our food wasn’t worth the long wait and putting up with the inattentive staff. I came here with two of my coworkers at 5:45 pm on a Monday. We were seated by the hostess, who gave us menus, and then we sat in our booth for a full 20 minutes and our server didn’t stop by. Servers were attending to tables all around us but it seemed like we were invisible. After 20 minutes I wanted to leave but one of my coworkers suggested that we try to call the hostess over. We finally were able to get her attention, she came to our table with a puzzled look and said, «Oh! Did you want water?» We said actually we wanted to order mixed drinks, and she said she would have to let our server know. A few minutes later the server came to our table, the same server who had been taking care of all the surrounding tables so we didn’t understand why she hadn’t stopped by in the past 25 minutes. But she took our drink orders and then we told here we’d like to place our appetizer and food orders as well. The only positive thing I can say in this review is that the pretzel ball/beer cheese soup appetizer was very tasty. The pretzels had just the right amount of salt and the beer soup/dip was delicious. In fact, I wish I would have ordered a bowl of the beer cheese soup for my meal instead of the black bean burger and fries. The black bean burger was just ok, a little dry and too small for the large, dry, stale bun it was served on. The fries were just warm and tasted like they had been sitting around for awhile. So I asked if I could have some hot fries. The server brought hot fries out but they didn’t taste any better, they tasted like old fries that had been sitting and then microwaved to be served hot. My coworker actually placed an order for extra fries, hoping they would be better but she got the same old-tasting fries as well. My other coworker ordered a pizza for an appetizer, which he said was ok. He mentioned also that his fries were cold. We did leave a tip, because, as my coworker said, «We aren’t jerks but she doesn’t deserve it.» So this was a very disappointing experience, especially since this place had been highly recommended to us.

Worst service I have seen in a very long time at any restaurant, and I’m an airline pilot who eats out A LOT! When we walked in only about 75% of the tables were full. We ordered an appetizer and a burger with two flights of beer and it took an hour and a half to get through dinner. The food was decent and the beer selection is solid, but the service was enough to prevent me from ever going back since there are so many options in the area. Sad to see a place that just can’t get it together.

Clean place, lots of TVs but the menu has gone south. Wanted some basic nachos and now the menu has«Braised Korean Barbq Pork Nachos at $ 13.00. Ordered fries and they were hot and tasty. Asked if they still had the turkey club and the answer was no. It is now a «Turkey Club Wrap» with avocado. Seems like they have attempted to put a twist on the menu items to someone’s personal taste.

Stop by for beer and lunch special. Excellent service by Jessie. Had a southern tier«phin and Matt extraordinary ale». Had the turkey hot shot. The beer and turkey hot shot was excellent — tasty and filling. Perfect for rainy day.

Service was terrible. Took a long time to be seated, even longer for a waitress to bother to check on us. Our waitress was more interested in talking to the hostess than taking care of patrons.

Bison Burgers we OK not as good as Teds though. Barely came with any fries. Probably won’t go back, Especially considering the price.

This place has a great selection of craft beers on draft, flights are priced reasonably, and the atmosphere is laid back. A good place to watch the game and have a nice beer. Pizzas are great, probably one of the best things on their menu.

Has the longest happy hour I’ve seen so far…11−7. The wait staff is very nice and attentive. My fiancé likes the pretzel balls and the pizza is pretty good too.

Bad service worse food. Bartender was complaining to the staff«under her breath» about the trivia not working and it was very uncomfortable to be around. Order was completely wrong and was awful on top of that. I don’t even live here and went because I wanted to try a local place. Big mistake, I would have been better off at chipotle.

Hubby and I went to Caddy’s Tap House for the first time last night based on a review we saw here. We were in for an early dinner which is our usual, so it was not very busy. There were only two other parties in our section so it was quiet and a generally good atmosphere. Hubby was happy to see there was a MLS Soccer game on TV so we watched the first half of that. We started with the pretzel bites with beer cheese. The pretzels were outstanding and the tiny bite I took of the beer cheese was outstanding too! I ordered the Bison burger made like a haystack onion burger(no cheese of course). Hubby ordered the fish and chips. While i was not impressed with the burger, hubby LOVED the fish and chips. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing!

Good experience here. Came at a slow time post-lunch on Tiesday. Sat at the bar and has great service. Beer selection is very good. Had the tots; they are not what you would expect, but they were very good. More like a deep fried mashed potato. Delish. Space is cool.

Went there to catch the Blackhawks game and had a great time. Atmosphere was great, very inviting and comfortable environment. The food was beyond good. Korean BBQ Nachos were redic. Best fish and chips i have ever eaten. Great selection of beer and they all go well with the loaded tots. So good.

Jessica B’s review convinced us to give this new incarnation of Cadillac Jack’s a try, and she was right on the money! TONS of better than average bar food choices, enough draft choices to make even the snootiest beer expert swoon, and attentive service all add up to an A1 experience in my book! We had chips with chili con queso for an appetizer, and I went for a bowl of their ale beer and cheese soup, which came with homemade potato chips, so we were well chipped and cheesed(might want to go for more variety next time!!!) The Mr. had an awesome looking plate of fish and chips(he might just lose his M&P title if he keeps THAT up!!) and I had a sweet glazed salmon salad which showcased some of the most perfectly cooked salmon I’ve had in a while. Their pizza and burgers look tempting as well, and a TON of sandwich and entrée options will make your meal decision ALMOST as tough as deciding which brew to go for(they also offer flights to have a taste of several tempting choices. Give this place a go… MUCH better than any/all of the nearby chain choices!

I cannot believe we nearly passed Chappy’s by tonight after pulling into the parking lot and fearing it would just end up a bar once we got the little one inside! We would have missed out on what we now consider one of Beavercreek’s best hidden gems! Holy gourmet cheeseburgers, batman! Have you seen the menu?! Allow me to tempt you. Beer brat sliders. With pretzel buns, bacon cream cheese and bacon jam! Just, what?! Awesomeness right there? Want more? My pleasure! How about house made jumbo pretzels with beer cheese and bacon jam? Not done? Perhaps some cannoli cheesecake will do the trick? This place likes fresh ingredients! A new spin on the old Cadillac’s, the owner has set out to elevate their cuisine from bar food to gastro pub, and if you ask me, they succeeded wildly! I’ve never been so impressed with a menu before. It’s insane. It’s tantalizing. It’s perhaps a little too fancy for it’s old reputation but that will change folks! Hubby had the bison burger, which came out looking like a burger worthy of the title of «Dayton’s Best» if you ask me. See my photo! Made this vegan drool. Meat eaters unite! This place has your name on it. The beer cheese soup came out drenched in shaved Parmesan on top, loaded with rich creaminess and the warm Saratoga chips it came with were a classy touch. Nice one, guys. The kids chicken tenders were reminiscent of the way things are breaded in the UK. Light, fluffy and crunchy all at once, melt in your mouth goodness. They looked posh. My son cleaned his plate! The craft beer selection was well done and rivaled some of our other local favorites for selection. Lots of great breweries in there! Last but certainly not least, our server Tiffany absolutely catered to our every need, and was everything a great server should be and more. She helped me make a custom meal that catered to my dietary restrictions and made sure it was done perfectly. She went above and beyond our expectations, and wowed us as much as the food. Thanks Caddy’s for the incredible experience! Highly recommended hidden gem. Shhhh! Don’t tell anyone!

I am cutting them some slack here because they are new, it was a Friday night, and they were pretty busy but our experience wasn’t that great. We had 7 people in our group that staggered in at different times so the server initially only had to deal with us two at a time. Our last friend showed up late and sat there for 10 minutes before I went to get the manager because I couldn’t find our server. Half the table was sitting there with empty drinks at this point. The manager was very nice and got us the help we needed. They have a pretty nice beer list but I wish it was in some kind of order. Maybe it is but I couldn’t figure it out. They had about 40 beers to choose from after they crossed off the blown kegs. Its Friday, shouldn’t you be at the top of your game?? The wine list is what you would expect from a beer joint. I was amused that they listed themselves as a wine bar on Unilocal. They are definitely not a wine bar. I told the server that the wine she gave my wife was spent. She said«I’m not in to wine, I don’t know what that means». It means you likely serve so little wine that this bottle had been opened too long and the wine went bad. It seemed like a decent menu for bar food. We didn’t venture past the appetizers. We got the tater tots, soft pretzels, and the nachos. Tots were tasty but mushy, the pretzels were really good and game with queso and BACONJAM! The nachos were decent but they forgot to add the pico. In their defense I ordered damn near every topping on the side because my wife doesn’t like guac, sour cream, or the pork. That leaves queso and pico. We didn’t get the pico. Easy mistake when you order it the way we did. The service was the real issue here. It was not good. I ALWAYS tip 20% or greater. She got 15% and I had anxiety giving her that. Step up your game Tori, its costing you and your restaurant money.
